We are God's plates. God's vessels. We're like that 3 year old. Sin is the poo in our plate. No amount of personal washing we do can satisfy God. Our self righteousness and good works are in vain.

Grace means, God does the washing Himself to His own acceptable standard, and then empowers us by His Spirit to live according to His will. Not by our own might but by His Spirit. That's Grace - God working lthrough me to do what I'm unable to do; to live a life I'm unable to live.

You'll agree with me that you may eventually eat from the plate if you do the washing by yourself to your standard and taste. This is the whole concept of Grace. This is Christianity.

There are several verses of scripture that you can use. These are some of them:

1 Timothy 2:16
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

John 1 also makes us to know that Jesus is the Word of God. Not an angel.

Isaiah 9:6 says the Son that would be born to us would be called the the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father among other names. No angel can be so called.
