I say so because a young member of my extended family (7 yrs old at the time) that was having some behavioral issues was being prayed for by a powerful pastor. The pastor said that while he was praying, he found out that the little boy had 7 spirit wives.
He said that the spirit wives were his former wives from his past incarnation. He married 7 women in his last incarnation.
They simply followed him into current incarnation, and had been disturbing him.
The pastor proceeded to conduct deliverance on the boy.
Surmise to say that he got significantly better, though not completely over the problem till today (he is a 37 years old adult now).
Which makes me to wonder whether those spirit spouses can ever be COMPLETELY gotten rid of.

Throwing the discussing wider now, I personally believe that almost every human being on this earth has some kind of spirit spouse(s).
Whether those spouses are problematic to the person depends on the person's spiritual level or vibration level.

When we become born again, the Spirit of God comes to dwell in us for this very purpose.

The single most important point for victims of these things to take from your answer above is THE POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD.

You see, these things are real. You can see that you've not said anything about the woman before I accurately outlined the things that would be happening in her life.

Let me answer your new questions. Please, note that I'm open to as many questions as you may have. I'm never bored of providing answers for kingdom issues. I'm a teacher of the Word. So, answering questions is my hobby. Smiling.

Now, regarding the woman being a firebrand Christian in a deliverance ministry while suffering the menace of spirit husband, let me talk briefly.

First, she might be ignorant of the real issues behind her ordeal. While her issue was spirit husband, she might be seeking deliverance from something else. This may prolong her case. Pastors are human, and there's no way a pastor can see or know anything except it is revealed to him by God. You can't blame the pastors too for not diagnosing her case correctly.

Secondly, most Christians are unaware that the Word of God purifies our souls. Demons are impurities that could be washed away by the water of the Word when we expose ourselves consistently to the Word of God. Jesus said: in John 15:3

"Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you"

The word Cleanses, not just sins but also demonic impurities. Ignorance of this fact make many Christians focus more on prayers, mountains, fasting and prophecies instead of exposing their lives to the bright rays of the Word of God. The light of the Word expels darkness. "For the light shineth in the darkness, and the datkness comprehendeth it not." John 1:5.

The absence of the
riches of God's Wordd in the life of a believer is a sure recipe for prolonged satanic oppression.

Thirdly, spirit spouses are covenant issues. The covenants are often made in exchange for some expected favours from a deity. Once the favours are granted, the man or woman who received the favours is under obligation to fulfil the terms of the covenant. The covenant therefore gives the demons legal rights to operate.

God is a covenant keeping God Himself. He also has extreme regards for covenants made between two or more people. Where a covenant is in effect, one party must first renounce the other party, and verbally break the covenant to remove the legal rights demons enjoy in the individual's life. Then, God can step into the matter.

Once we give our lives to Christ, we have a superior covenant sealed with the blood of Jesus. We can use this understanding to render any other covenant null and void. Once the deity is renounced, covenants broken and evil soul ties disengaged, freedom is sure.

Question 1: In most cases, there's just one spouse taking different forms. The demon can appear in different forms to the woman. It's a very ugly thing taking different faces. One spirit spouse can be married to all members of a family. Polygamy rarely occurs. I have never met a polygamous case in my 25yrs of ministry.

Question 2: Yes, that's a spirit spouse at work. I many cases, while the woman is giving birth in the spirit realm, she might be made barren in real life. The spirit husband cannot afford to have his wife taking care of his earthly rival's children. The woman may be made barren or made to suffer unexplainable miscarriages. In few cases where the woman have children in life, there'll be many challenges for those children. They may sickly, never do wells or may even die untimely.

Spirit husbands don't have sex with their victims only in dreams. Some women experience physical sexual assault without seeing the personality that assaulted them. Mostly occurring at nights. Some would have the physical feelings of being penetrated after a sex dream. It happens to men as well but it is most common with women. Most women bottle it in. They are too shy and embarrassed to discuss it.

People who are actively or passively involved in the occult have a different case. Their spirit spouses would change as they climb higher in occult levels.

Well, I think that the wrong way of looking at these things is to assume/expect every race or tribe of people to share the same cultural perspectives on them. CULTURE is a huge factor in how these things are dealt with.

For example, most whites who even believe in spiritual things simply categorize all such things as "demons" or "evil spirits".

What intrigued me most about his claims in the book (the man had conducted HUNDREDS if not thousands 0f exorcism, some of them even on religious leaders and the most unbelieving) is that significant numbers of people he helped never believed in them until voices they couldn't control started speaking through them!

There's no man of God in the Pentecostal arena today including this Pastor Eze who is not a follower of Oyedepo. Name them, Oyedepo was the one who taught many minsters of God in Nigeria how to walk in the power of God and the secrets of victorious lviing. No man of God in the Pentecostal arena can say he never partook of Oyedepo's anointing and Grace. Name them.

Adeboye and Oyedepo are the fathers of most Pentecostal Ministers in Nigeria. And whatever you see any of them do, Adeboye and Oyedepo do much more. They only don't make any noise.
