Today, I want to give God praise for proving Himself once again even on Nairaland. I will share my testimony briefly.

Anyone who remembers the character called maynman here would remember him as a very obnoxious personality who neither identified as Theist nor Atheist. Had no regard for anyone. Rails on God and elders. Always love to have the final say on any issue. He will drag threads with you even if it means he should be talking only nonesene after being defeated. He would rain insults upon insults on you. He tenaciously published conspiracy theories about the Almighty God, calling Him a small god of the Sashu tribe. He was that kind of a character.

My last conversation with him resulted in a discourse in which I referred to a news report of the early 1990s where Russian fishermen were reported to have caught a human baby-looking creature with scales on its body. The Russians called it Baby fish. We read in those days how the baby fish threatened the Russians to return him to the sea otherwise he would level the whole of Russia.

The small boy Maynman was probably not born at the time, or he had not reached reading age. He alleged me to be a liar and abused the hell out of me and my parents just because I asked him to ask elders around him about the baby fish information. Maynman insisted I was fabricating a story just to prove my point . And if you know him, he doesn't just accuse you, he'll abuse you and heap invectives on you for anything you stand for.

That day, I had enough of Maynman. We were discussing about God whom Maynman claimed does not exist. He abused God, abused me, abused my parents and cursed.

His posts in those days were so well articulated that if you're not grounded in the truth, and you do not make any attempts to make your own research, you will fall into the traps of his deception. He copies posts from anti-Yahweh websites all over the Internet.

So, this particular day in 2022/2023 (I can't recall the exact year). I said it is enough. So I prayed:

[b]"Oh, Lord God, Maynman said you don't exist, and calls you by all sorts of despicable names and titles, also posting articles that mislead others about the Truth of Your Being. Lord, you know all things, and you know who that guy Maynman is behind those screens. Oh Lord God, wherever he is or wherever he writes from, silence him. I do not want to read any topic from him again on Nairaland."

That was the prayer I prayed that day. A few days ago, I was having a discussion about the Nigerian Christian genocide, Trump's threats and the Antichrist with someone in a WhatsApp group, and that person made reference to the same baby fish report Maynman was abusing me for (screenshot attached). I immediately remembered Maynman and wondered where he has been. It's been long since I saw a post or comments from him. I recalled the prayer I prayed and therefore came to Nairaland to see the guy's profile. I found he was last seen on Nairaland in 2024 with any of the 3 monikers he was known for. He might still be on Nairaland with other monikers but he doesn't make those stinking posts anymore. His posts went into decline from the day I prayed until he stopped posting altogether. God silenced him.

Honestly, I didn't know how God would do it as at the time I was praying. I just knew He would do what I asked. And He did it exactly. I have attached the screenshots of his Nairaland profile depicting his last seen online status.

God answers prayers. If you're an atheist and think He does not exist, I pity you. If you're a Christian and you joke with God, I pity you too. God answers when you pray. His answers may be gradual, not immediate but He makes all things beautiful in His time.

God's answers are not always instant, but the moment you pray, do not doubt, just believe, and you'll see the Glory of God. God is interested even in the trivial issues of your life. Just as this trivial issue of Maynman caught God's attention because I prayed; your most trivial issues will get the touch of God if only you can pray.

Give your heart to Jesus. He lives. He loves. He cares for you. All prayers are answered in His name.

Now, tell me how Firstborn = Only Begotten. Even if He's Firstborn just because He was created first, others are also begotten as long as they were also created. But He's the Only Begotten. Only Begotten. No one else is Begotten.

The spontaneous remission has natural explanations and has no mark of impossibility.

For instance, immune system activation through the body's response system or an internal stimulus such as fever can make the body fight the cancerous cells. This is very explainable biologically. So, what's miraculous about that? These solutions are not rare.

And, even if you think spontaneous remission of cancer is a solution itself which it is not, it has natural explanations. How can something rare but naturally explainable be a miracle?

If mere rarity of a solution alone defined a miracle, then you don't even need to go to science or biology for your objection. There are many rare solutions around us but they do not carry the mark of impossibility, and they do have natural explanations. Their premises are also natural. We are talking of events that have no natural premises. No natural explanation. They carry a mark of impossibility.

The x-rays of the sizable nail and its subsequent elimination in the belly of a 1 year old ticks all these boxes. Spontaneous remission of cancer does not.

There were caveats to it. Everyone knows when something is absolutely impossible. And when the impossible becomes possible, we know it's not natural. Especialy when it happens after we prayed.

I think I have shared this before. The year was 2014, I wouldn't want to go into details so as not to wear you out. But, there was this lady that passes by us always backing a 4 year old child.

One day, my wife asked her to allow the child walk. "Why back him everyday?". It was then the lady opened the boy's concealed right leg. The mother covers the leg with the clothes she uses to back him. The leg was extra large - elephantiasis. The woman said she has taken him for surgery twice but the ailment returns after each surgery. She was to take him for the third surgery but she didn't have the required 100k as at then. My wife asked her not to worry. "My husband is a man of God. Let him see the child's leg." The lady came to meet me on a Monday morning and I prayed for both mother and child. On Wednesday morning, I saw the woman in my house. "Daddy, thanks so much for the other day sir. See his leg." She wore a brighter countenance this very day. I can still visualize the joy on her face.

The swollen leg had begun to shrink. Drastically reduced in size. Though not yet at par with the other leg at the time, but the size reduction was very obvious. No surgery. Only my prayers. "You spirit of infirmity, I terminate your operations in this leg, and cast you out. You leg, hear the Word of the Lord, take on your normal size, and from now on begin to heal in Jesus name! You Elephantiasis, be gone!" Then, I repeated"Be gone, be gone, be gone in Jesus name!". That was it. The result was a shrunk leg.

A month later, I saw the boy playing around with his mates. Something he couldn't do before. I give all Glory to Jesus. That's what we call a miracle. It happened after prayers. It was an impossible situation without surgery. It had a mark of rarity. No natural explanation.
