Allah didn't talk about deterring banditry and terrorism. Show us any verse of the Quran where he did. Allah was only concerned about people terrorizing him and therefore gave laws against those who war against Allah and are thereby corrupting the earth. Infact, Allah is happy as long as the war is not against him. It's 72 virgins and straight paradise according to the false god.

The Lord Jesus didn't come to give laws or to judge. He'll judge at His second coming but at His first coming, He only came to fulfil the law.

Gambling, by nature, takes advantage of the misfortune of others. In order for one person to win, someone else—usually multiple others—must lose. For a Christian to risk money in the off chance that he will gain even more is foolish. But to actively seek financial benefit from someone else’s loss is beyond foolish; it is unethical.

Casinos use all sorts of marketing schemes to entice gamblers to risk as much money as possible. They often offer inexpensive or even free alcohol, which encourages drunkenness—and a decreased ability to make good decisions. Everything in a casino is designed to appeal to materialistic desires. Even in those games that require a certain amount of skill and do not rely solely on luck, the gambler is seeking to benefit from the misfortune of others and playing into a rigged system. The aim of a casino is to take money in large sums and give little in return.

Sports betting is becoming more popular—and more accessible—by the day. Some argue in its defense, saying that sports betting is harmless entertainment. Some say that betting on a team, especially if it’s a fantasy team, requires some research and skill to be successful. Critics point out that gambling of any kind can lead to addiction. And critics point out that sports betting can easily harm the integrity of the sport in question, when players are bribed to shave points or throw a game. However, it seems that those the lottery is supposed to help are actually being hurt. A recent study showed that U.S. households in the lowest income bracket spend 13 percent of their annual household income on lottery tickets; in contrast, the highest earners spend just 1 percent of their income on the lottery (Bankrate survey, October 2019). So, those who can least afford to spend money on lottery tickets are often the ones buying them. With the chances of winning the lottery being infinitesimal, the whole system preys upon the poor.

First Timothy 6:10 provides wisdom that directly relates to gambling: “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” Greed is equated with idolatry in Colossians 3:5. Those who gamble cannot follow the admonition of Hebrews 13:5: “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have.” Serving God and serving money are incompatible (Matthew 6:24).

Does the Bible forbid a friendly wager between two players going head-to-head on a tennis court? What about paying a dime into the kitty for a bingo card? Entering a raffle? Filling out a March Madness bracket in the office pool? The answer is, no, the Bible does not explicitly forbid these things. When it comes to betting of any kind, followers of Jesus should use discernment in examining their motives, their testimony, and their responsibility to steward their resources wisely.

Believing Jesus performed a miracle is different from believing in Jesus.

My own father was once a Muslim turned freethinker. He, at a time instructed my mother to go to church if she wanted, but should allow his children to choose whatever they wanted. He later met Jesus and converted.

So, from the example I cited of my old man of blessed memory, believing in Jesus cannot be done without following Jesus.

From my personal experiences in evangelism, miracles are not the only thing that bring people to Christ. I have seen miracles upon miracles and yet the people who received the miracles remain unsaved. It was the same crowd before whom Christ performed miracles that still cried "crucify Him". Jesus even had to ask them at one time "For which of the good works are you stoning me?".

Unbelief is a very powerful demon. It has a strong grip on its victims. The Holy Ghost needs to break its grip before his victims can see clearly. For example, the Muslim guy here called Antichristian would not become a follower of Jesus by just seeing miracles. I can assure you that. He'll admit that Jesus indeed performed the miracles but he'll never leave Islam except the Holy Ghost arrests him. In most cases, Muslims like him will tell you that the miracle happened by the permission of Allah and that they know Jesus more than you do (ignorantly thinking that the stories of Jesus' childhood in their Quran is a knowledge of Jesus). He'll say he believes Jesus is a prophet and nothing more. The miracles he sees notwithstanding.

So, admittance of miracles is not the same thing as belief. You cannot believe in Jesus and not be saved. Not possible

Christian doctors pray out of habit. I have seen several Christian doctors pray and end up with mortalities. I have seen an obs and gyne pray during resuscitate of a woman with post partum hemorrhage and she didn't make it. I have seen the same obs and gyne try to resuscitate a woman that had pulmonary embolism after surgery and she still died. In all instances, he prayed and he's a Winner pastor. He is now in Bayelsa. He did his residency in UPTH. I have seen 2 doctors who are pediatricians pray and lose babies. What are you talking about? You're just an outsider that know nothing in medical practice.

Correction,not all doctors admit the supernatural. Even the ones that admit the supernatural are Christians and it doesn't mean it's supernatural. For example, when spontaneous cancer remission(which i used as an example before but u r too blinded to read) happens in a Christian. A Christian doctor would say it's god. But scientifically we know it isn't. It's due to multiple factors which include patient immunity. Also I agree we dont everything about cancer remission,however it's not enough to insert god into that knowledge gap. There was a time we attribute a lot of stuff to god like babies,floods,lightning. I'm a doctor. And I have explained myself (along with another doctor on this forum) that yes the nail can turn due to gastric motility but we don't take chances cos of the chance of perforation. Our profession works on pragmatism. Somehow this explanations cannot penetrate your religious skull. I have even dropped scientific materials explaining how peristalsis, mass movement move intestinal contents. E no enter your head. You said nobody was expecting the nail to turn but we doctors know and we know other cases where nails turn but no one is taking chances.
Now lemme assume(for the sake of this discussion) that it was her prayers. Was it prayers that turned the nails in other cases too? Those cases weren't even christians. So logically reasoning the claim that prayers turned this particular nail is dead on arrival since it has been proven nails can turn WITHOUT PRAYERS. The mother can claim anything, she is not a scientific person and doesn't understand human physiology.

Prayers are not magic.

God answers prayers only when there's a problem that is beyond you. Not when there's a problem that you can solve yourself. So, you vacuum analogy does not cut it. You can only use that for a magician.

There are many stricken Christian celebrities eg Cobhams Asuquo,Yinka Ayefele etc. How come they ain't been healed despite copious healing news we get everyday? If they are healed,then that would be a good evidence for miracles cos their ailments have been well documented,one is blind and the other paraplegic
