Imagine my excitement when I saw this thread, thinking finally someone would be able to prove that a god/gods exist, only to be met with a false presupposition from the very beginning.

To correct you, atheism does not posit that the external world CAN be explained without a need for a creator. That is to presuppose that atheists have an explanation for the natural world that does not include a god. That is simply not true.

Certain aspects of the natural world are currently unexplainable, or unknown to us. But regardless of that, it doesn't mean a god magically fits the explanation.

As an atheist, I have found no evidence to suggest that a god is responsible for the complexity of the universe. It doesn't mean I know why the universe and things are the way they are. I don't, and I would really love to know. But if you're going to say a god did it, there has to be some sort of evidence other than "I don't know any other reasons, so I'll go with the big G"

No atheist has been able to offer any counter-argument against the arguments in the OP. One of them was even trying to get me into a different debate while avoiding this current debate. Another one up there has suddenly denied that atheism has anything to do with the subject matter. Atheists are liars. They argue everyday that the world came into being through natural processes but here they're trying to deny because they came face to face with an argument they couldn't counter. This shows you that atheism is actually a RELIGION. Many of the strong atheists on this forum have avoided this thread like a plague. They should keep deceiving themselves. Why are you asking me the question? Someone made the statement about JW scripting their talks. Normally, I'll call your fellow brothers to shed more lights on that but they always insult me and have said I should stop mentioning them.

Of course, I had to read my own meaning to your question because it is totally disconnected from what obtains in the christian fold. I would rather ask you if you teach in absolute alignment with the Bible, rather than ask if everything you teach is in the Bible. The question is a very proud question with many loopholes. It's so vague because it didn't address any issue. If you used the word 'alignment', I would have immediately grasped what you were saying.

Now, are you saying your talks are not scripted? If you're only prepared for teaching and allowed the freedom of teaching without being contained by some ready-made sermon, then it's okay. There a problem if the reverse is the case.

We do prepare for Sunday school because there's a general manual that every member of a church work wide must follow. However if you're the one to give the sermon (which I find to be the direct equivalent of your talks), there'll be no one preparing you for that. Apart from giving you a topic to preach on, no one tells you what to say. You're completely dependent on the Holy Spirit to inspire you after much prayer and personal study. In all, whatever you preach must align with the Scriptures.
