The dafts is you, look at the difference between the baby, the other one was too riddish implicating a fake written one unlike the other genuine writing. Allah is Great

yeah use cognitive dissonance to deceive yourself that the other was fake while your own was real, how are we not sure that the one on the baby was fake as well? undecided, "the flying spaghetti monster is great"!! grin grin grin

I guess you never heard the saying - to be forewarned is to be forearmed.

If not for those "forecasts" you so ignorantly deride . . . chickenpox would still be killing us today.

Those forecasts were wide off the mark but its better to be safe than sorry. Viruses that make the animal-human jump are known to be the most virulent and difficult to treat. Think Ebola or Marburg viruses.

G1, you seem like a nice guy. Anyone who knows me and reads the op knows I wasn't making light of terrible disaster nor insinuating God killed all those people for 2 of his children - how ridiculous. There is a christian lesson in the story I told. You're not a christian and will not understand hence I requested you and other atheists respect the topic and not post.

okay no problem Jesoul, sorry for intruding, dont worry it wont happen again, see you on other topics, takecare of you and stay blessed,

Islam for Muslims / Christians And Muslims Isnt Blasphemy A Victimless Crime by g1(m): 11:25am On Jan 27, 2010
Hello to all nairalanders,

i have always seen blasphemy as a ridiculous thing, why do people feel the need to react or get angry for their god,

for example  a christian feels he can tell an ex christian who is  an atheist that the bible says in Psalm 14:1 - "the fool has said in his heart there is no god" but if the atheist replies saying : "the fool has said in his heart that there is a god" then the christian will get all red faced and scream blasphemy, my question is why do u feel you have the right to dish it and not take it?

same for the muslims, a muslim can tell an ex muslim who is an atheist that the quran says in 2:23 - "And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful" but if i as an exmuslim replies that:," i can produce something as good as the quran but who will be the judge? will allah come and judge?, then a muslim will get all red faced and scream blasphemy, my question still remains why do have a right to dish it and not take it?

i will post this topic in both the christian and muslim section so that i can get enough response from both sides

@topic, if you ignorant muslims/christians will just read a little bit of science it wouldnt hurt you know.

what that baby is suffering from is called: Dermatographic urticaria

Dermatographic urticaria (also known as dermographism, dermatographism or "skin writing"wink is a skin disorder seen in 4–5% of the population and is one of the most common types of urticaria,[1] in which the skin becomes raised and inflamed when stroked or rubbed with a dull object

The symptoms are thought to be caused by mast cells in the surface of the skin releasing histamines without the presence of antigens, due to the presence of a weak membrane surrounding the mast cells. The histamines released cause the skin to swell in the affected areas.

Dermatographia
Self-referential illustration of dermatographic urticaria

This weak membrane easily and rapidly breaks down under physical pressure causing an allergic-like reaction, generally a red wheal (welt) to appear on the skin. It can often be confused with an allergic reaction to the object causing a scratch, when in fact it is the act of being scratched that causes a wheal to appear. These wheals are a subset of urticaria (hives) that appear within minutes, accompanied by a sensation of burning, and itchiness. The first outbreak of urticaria can lead to others on body parts not directly stimulated, scraped or scratched. In a normal case the swelling will reduce itself with no treatment within 15–30 minutes, but in extreme cases, itchy red wheals may last anywhere from a few hours to days.

Career / Re: Who Is More Promiscuous? Female Bankers Or Nurses ? by g1(m): 3:12pm On Jan 23, 2010
@topic,

what sort of rubbish topic is this? how can you dismiss all bankers and nurses because of the actions of just a few of them? angry undecided, in every profession there are good guys and bad guys just as there are good girls and bad girls, so to say that all bankers and nurses are promiscous is a bit close minded and childish, the more we start to show a little respect for our females in this country the better for our future as a nation, peaceout

Apologies for being harsh but this is incredibly dumb and i dont see where i insinuated such. Millions of arab muslims fly through Ben Gurion airport in Israel every yr . . . despite the fact that Israel is highly security conscious and is about the only country to employ racial profiling to prevent terrorist attacks.

You work in Yemen, i'm not surprised you cant reason.

all you had to do was reply rather than insult me, anyways thanks for your reply and takecare,

Not all muslims are terrorists but virtually ALL terrorists are muslims.

The jews started profiling by religion and race at their airport after the last intifada . . . today Ben Gurion airport is regarded as the safest airport on earth. Its amazing that with all its enemies, Israel is yet to record terrorists on their aircraft in over a decade. It goes to show you how much evil you can prevent when you keepp these moslem vermin at bay.

david thanks for your reply, sorry i am a bit late replying, so are saying that we should stop all muslims from going to our airports?

@davidylan,
hello how are you doing, i am new here and from the number of posts you have i understand you are a veteran here, from your posts i can see why you have a problem with islam but is it fair that you condem every muslim including every man, woman, and child that is of muslim faith?, i started a topic in the politics section : "Painting Everyone with the Same Brush Syndrome", i was talking about condemning an entire ethnic/religious group for the actions of some of them, so are you telling me that its every muslim(man, woman and child) that is out to cause terror? ofcourse not, so holla back and tell me what you think?

peace

Katsumoto:

No they are not; I am a Christian but most of my friends are Muslims. I did not set out to make friends with just Muslims, I just came to that realisation one day. I have my criticisms of Muslims just as I have my criticisms of Christians. Whilst you have Muslims who are willing to be used by their clerics and leaders to commit murders, so you have Christians who will listen blindly to obviously fake pastors. My last comment was just to make a point, it was not intended to cause a digression.

i feel you my brother, like i said if we continue to have objective criiticisms like yours then maybe we can move forward instaed of painting everyone with the sam brush, may it be well with you brother, takecare
Politics / Re: Painting Everyone With The Same Brush Syndrome by g1(m): 1:44pm On Jan 21, 2010
Katsumoto:

I have muslim friends from the North but I believe that they do not engage in mass murders for the following reasons
1. It is difficult for Northern muslims to go on rampage in the South. They are outnumbered
2. The ones I know are very privileged; mass murders are usually committed by Almajiris sent by their affluent masters

Also we can not discount the actions of Nigeria's first international terrorist. A boy from a very privileged background who still wanted to kill innocent human beings on foreign soil.

katsumoto i like your objective criticisms, at least you agree with me that not all of them are out to kill you!!!

Remain Blessed!

thanks and may you be blessed too

Katsumoto:

It is bad to generalise but when an action becomes synonymous with a person or group of people, then it is hard not to generalise. For instance I will never say all muslims are killers because I know that is not true. I know muslims in the south do not go on killing sprees. I can not say the same for muslims in the North. It is always one crises or the in the North. Even inconsequential events in Europe cause problems in the North (cartoon in Denmark). So I can safely generalise about the muslim North.

katsumoto thanks for your post, i understand your feelings and position, but are you telling me you have never come in contact with some muslims from the north whom you got along fine with? if yes then dont you think it will be unfair to blast them all?

Will it be out of order if one calls such adherents terrorists?
