Nigerian government is either not wise or simply reckless. You don't need anyone to tell u (as a government) that another EndSars-scale protest is on the way. But the typical Nigeria government will wait until the problem is out of control. Months before the commencement of ASUU strike, there were lots of letters written from the union to the government asking them to fulfill there "promises". Again, the government was not borthered. They waited until the issue got out of hands. This way of governing that prefer cure to prevention is the reason the government is always failing. |
adioolayi:Because of a failed country. 14 babies just like that. Nigeria failed them even b4 the could see Nigeria. Sad, very sad. |
affable4:Believing in oneself does not mean the person is unaware of his or her limitations. Mbappe believe in himself and his ability, he also know his limitations. |
If that happens it will affect everyone. Christians might get preferential treatment and scholarship compared to Muslims but in the long run everybody will suffer it. Because they will cut off most of our trade Links and deny Nigeria access to resources that can help the country grow. |
Truthisunique2: . e go betterOn a serious note: Islamic leaders should be wise. The more you try to force Islam on none Islamic people, the more hate and abuse you attract to Islam. Most people all over the world have deep hatred for Islam not because an average Muslim is bad. But because of the self centered mindset of most of their leaders and followers. Look at Nairaland, one can not even comment on Islamic thread because they know many people hate them. What brought about this hate? A question that every Muslimd should ask themselves. |
tarantino1: ![]() Bros calm down. We are all one, it's humanity before religion. Sadly most Muslims and Christians do not know this. Who ever does not love his neighbor (regardless of religion) does not know God. God is love. |
wordbank:There is an act for modest dressing in court environment, so nudism is not OK. |
Chiraq77:The back and front tires got removed at high speed, that is not something survivable unless by God's grace. |
Hijab on its own is Ok. I don't see any problem with it in court room as far as there is proper security check to prevent catastrophe. The major problem is that one that covers the face. It think it called Nigab or something, that should not be allowed in court environment (for security reasons). Because it hide the identity of the individual. So criminals can take advantage of it to unleash havoc. |

Sometimes it is better to stay and fight to build your country than running to the ones built by others through sweat and sacrifices. Citizens of the countries you run to once stood their ground, fought tooth and nail for their countries to be where it is today. They didn't run away from their fathers land. Their ancestors would be forever proud of them. If you are a Nigerian politician in power, strive to make the country a better place. Remember, Nigeria is your father land. If you are an aspiring politician, when you get there, strive to make the country a better place. Remember, Nigeria is your father's land. As for the Citizens, charity begins at home. Everything is not up to the government. An item than is profitable to be sold for 50 naira, sell it for 50 naira (do not hike the prices of things unnecessarily). When you do that, you are making the country a better place. Yes, sometimes prices do go up (e.g due to fuel price increase), but when it comes down, do well to bring down the prices of goods and services as well. When you do that, you are making the country a better place. A country can only succeed when the occupants work together. There is enough resources in this country compared to almost all of eroupe combined (with the exception of Russia). Yet, corruption has made it one of the poorest place to live. Let's make Nigeria great. |
seunny4lif:Russia can keep seizing land but it doesn't make the land belong to them. They have seized Crimea since 2014 yet they are still demanding it to be recognized as Russia territory (part of the condition to end the invasion). A stolen property will forever be a stolen property...just ask the British. As for African countries cashing out. Even if Nigeria cashed out, the commons man will not feel it. This government administration no sabi "chop make we chop". It will be shared among the political elites alone. |
Badboibipo:Baba calm down. The guy is wrong but you yourself you are not right (by your response). Learn to avoid kids (people with childish brain) like him. Most often, silent is the way to put him in his place. |
haffaze777:This kinetic approach (Vawulence for Vawulence) is making the whole place violent. It's well |
haffaze777:This guys ehn, make una allow our Igbo brothers chill small na. Which one b this back and forth bombardment like this Abeg let the vawulence on Igbos stop. |
A lot of people here need proper mental cleansing. |
SarkinYarki:Abeg no impeachment drama this time. Baba time don reach, allow am make him comot jeje. After he is out, then they can hold him for whatever he is guilty of. |
sinkhole:That's true. Sometimes it's better to "live to fight another day". I know FG is very callous but to dey over do everything is not good. So ASUU should take the their victory and and call off the strike instead of trying to win everything at once. If not, the strike go enter next year. |
But ASUU president Emmanuel Osodeke said the union was not informed about any meeting with the Federal Government. “We were not invited to any meeting. None of our members was invited. We have a secretariat but we never got any invitation from them,” the ASUU leader said in an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Thursday. “The problem we have with this government, especially with the minister of labour, is that if you can tell the world that you have fixed a meeting which you didn’t, how do you expect us to believe other things you have said? Source: https://www.channelstv.com/2022/06/24/strike-ngige-did-not-invite-us-to-any-meeting-on-thursday-ASUU/amp/ Why would a grown man (Ngige) be lying in public this way? |
robosky02:That sounds like a script. This is not wrestling oo. Though you might be right, the Titles need to be in the hands of an active (defending) champion. |
With all the Russian aggression leading to the death of several Ukrainians. Hope Usyk is emotionally OK to fight? Make him no go kill AJ for ring oo. |
sinkhole:Ok |
sinkhole:Do you have any insight as to what they have agreed on regarding UTAS and IPPIS? Because that seems to be the major problem. |
