Reelmii:With the close marking on Vote buying by the government, a lot of agent used that opportunity to cash out. Even agents that buy votes know how to do permutations and secure cash out.

Car buying here and there.. Election cash out stuff. |
Ignore all the people wey dey advice you to buy BMW or Benz, they know nothing. If you are buying those cars (BM and BZ), buy it new. Use it for 5-10 years and sell them. They are not good for long term value..not like before with Benz 190, 200 and co or e-series BMW. BACK to the mata: Between the Honda and Toyota Those are very good vehicles. You can't get anything better at that price range. That Honda is more Zippier and fun to drive than that 2004 Camery. The advantage for that 2004 Camery is that it has fewer electrical components compared to the Honda. So you will worry less in terms of faulty components. |
Omooba77:No money for feeding talkless of paying for kidnappings. Kidnappers jejely hold break during this period. It shows that they too need to settle some people b4 kidnapping |
I am sure sometime in the future; the bank will issue a statement”. Cruise |
GOTVee:. You can be whatever you want to be. Live your life and let others live their own lives. You mustn't tie your life on another person's neck. |
dangoteinlaw:Nigerians like to be suffering and smiling. They don't like to change. But the policy was poorly implemented. You see, The food we eat, the oil (palm oil) we consume comes from the villages. Some of those villagers are 100% into farming. They are not educated. Most of them doesn't have banks close to them. You will be surprise to hear that network are rarely available in some rural areas. They don't have good access to the internet...at least not the way we do in the township and cities. For this people, they will only sell their farm products via cash. No transfer no nothing. This are the people the policy is suppose to prioritize. They should be orientated and means of payment like POS and co should be made available for them. The people in the cities are well vast in the latest technologies but they are not producers. Most people in the Cities are more of consumers. If they want this policy to continue, the government need to provide solution to the aforementioned problems. |
There is too much power at the center. For this country to work, everything must be decentralized. Governor's immunity at state level should also be stripped off. No one (serving or non serving) is above the law. And too much power shouldn't be given to any office, that way people will not do anyhow. |
zinaunreal:What the guy is saying is that Supreme Court gave their rulling but the other arm of government that should enforce it will not do so because the rulling is against them. In a normal climate, they will be the first to obey the law just to set example, but this is Nigeria |
Fut9ure: ![]() Una no go kill persin for this forum |
Source == Facebook? What is wrong these Nairaland mods? |
PDP vs APC If you know.. ![]() |
dat9jaguy:Accepted. Authorized means he has given the go ahead. That is the CBN has the full backing of the president on this matter. This is reason why the didn't bother with the Court decision. If not why would CBN Governor alone disobey Supreme Court? My point is that if you want to blame, blame the real person that gave the permission (Buhari) not the messanger (CBN Governor). Buhari never said it was the CBN Governor idea alone or joint decision. |
LordviccoDaGuru: The proportion of currency outside banks grew from 78%in 2015 to 85% in 2022. As of October 2022, therefore, currency in circulation had risen to N3.23 trillion; out of which only N500 billion was within the Banking System while N2.7 trillion remained permanently outside the system; thereby distorting the financial policy and efficient management of inflation; |
In the last quarter of 2022, I authorised the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to redesign the N200, N500, and N1000 Nigerian banknotesI told some people in this forum that this policy has the presidential executive backing , them no gree. Shey una hear ram now? CBN governor is bravely doing what he is doing knowing fully well that Buhari has his backing. |
SLAP44:You will know the full name of the movie after election |
In a sane environment, this guy is supposed to be president. Sadly Nigeria is far from sanity...At least he tried sha. |
“The court gave order without listening to government side but it fixed 15 February to hear from the government. All this corrupt Judges, what do you think will happen to their years of stockpiled bribes? This policy just scatter everywhere. |
ganisucks:No mind them. Some people brain na custard 🍮 full am |
JASONjnr:Need I remind you that today is 11th February 2023. And that the old currency is not accepted even by banks as from yesterday afternoon. Are you telling me you don't know all this things. Why will CBN disobey Court order unless the president is involved? How can you know the constitution and not know this basic things happening around us? If the CBN governor was acting alone, the governor would have been arrested long b4 now. |
Siwisheswereesh:Am I supposed to be upset that you insulted me? ![]() |
JASONjnr:I don't need to understand the constitution to know that the CBN naira design is fully backed by the president. Unless the president says otherwise these Court cases will be stomped on. |
JASONjnr:CBN is acting based on executive order of the president. U think say na only CBN governor dey run show He has the full backing of the president. All this Court this, Court that will not work unless the president decide to rethink the issue. |
APCHaram:No be small thing. I have encounter same thing b4. Use platform like Opay, Palpam etc for transfer and save the reciepts after the transaction. As long as there is a mobile network, there is 99 percent chance it will be successful. Transfers are also free. And when transferring money, don't transfer everything all at once. For instance if you bought something of 20k, you could send it twice (10k each)..just Incase wahala wan happen. Physical banking systems like first bank, access, gtb and the rest, basically depends on three types of network to be available. Whereas digital wallets platforms like Opay, Kuda, palmpay only depends on two types of networks. |
Even though I'm a born again Christian, I think I must give kudos to our Muslim brothers and sisters for living by the tenets of islam. No Islamic ruling nor nation will give a nod to this madness and we wonder why they are more morally up right than we Christians? Weird acts and cultures are common amongst Christian nations yet we think we are more righteous. Sometimes I regret being a Christian
