Not implementing agreement you free signed is the root to all strike. |
And they say na Taiwan be their problem |
Joint task force in crime.

One of the reasons is because it cost more to print the money at certain volume (in the case of Nigeria). This might not make sense but it's true for Nigeria. In other to counter people printing fake currencies, most countries uses very unique and expensive tools in printing their currencies, thus making it impossible for criminals to copy. One of the solution to money problem in Nigeria is to "start circulating money". This mean using them in day to day activities in large volume. There are alot of corrupt practices in Nigeria that has seen many of our leaders stockpiling our money. Money that should have been in circulation through trade and what not. The money are being kept in one place without using it. Nigeria has alot of printed currency...but majority of it are being stockpiled by greedy politician. If we can solve this problem, we will not need to be printing more money. Even if we keep printing more now... corrupt politicians will still hijack it and prevent it from circulating. Nigerians whole problem can be summed up in one word "CORRUPTION". |
How do you punish someone that has enough money using money? Can't UEFA use another weapons or they are just broke and need urgent money. PSG will pay extra if you gurantee them champions league ![]() |
Emmamay10:It's not about meeting with ASUU directly. Even without directly interaction with ASUU, the strike can easily be called off. What u are seeing between FG and ASUU is two sides fighting. There was never a move from FG to end the strike. Look at what they proposed. They said they have solve 80% of ASUU issues...but look at the solutions they offered. Proposed salary increament =>to comence around march 2023 Revitalization fund => To be added to 2023 budget, meaning the full implementation is around march 2023 UTAS=> The FG said they will join all three payment platforms together (UTAS, IPPIS n that of the non academics) and use as one. The time of implementation is unknown. These are the three main reasons why they went on strike. What the government has don is to shift the responsibility to the incoming government. Knowing Nigeria government, any incoming government will not accept that responsibility, they will refuse to pay and it lead to another strike and another renegotiation. FG has not done anything other than promises. They are just trying not to give in to ASUU. ASUU on the other hand will never call off this strike unless the reason merits the time wasted thus far. |
E b like say this strike na till March next year |
NwaAdazzi:We don't give amnesty to groups who are killing citizens. Terrorism is a different class of offense. A sane country does not liase with them in any way. Go and learn the meaning of amnesty. We will keep sending them packing from this world. If your hand dey the thing, go and wash it off b4 it's too late. |
IboHausaYoruba:ASUU is fighting for their members. Their Job is not to fight for students...they only fight for what is beneficial for themselves and their work. Go and hold your students union....they (NANS) are the ones tasked with the responsibility of fighting for students. I repeat, students deserve this strike. The only innocent victims here are the traders and communities that depends on university operations to survive. Students should continue watching Big Brother 9ja, Trolling online and expect ASUU and FG to come to their senses. |
EIeyigidgan:He has a good idea but presented it in a bad way. U don't need to scam your parents. You can simply ask them for support in starting a business or source for fund elsewhere. It's true that after graduation, jobs are scarce...but you can decide to be the employer and not the employee. That is what he is trying to say |
GoAndVerify:ASUU is fighting for it members. That's their primary goal. U pple always get it confused. Students should hold their students union (NANS) not ASUU. NANS are responsible for fighting for students. But YEYE students will say ASUU and FG are corrupt. What about your own student union? Have they even gone on protest against what FG and ASUU are doing to their members (students). U cannot fight for yourselves, don't drag ASUU to fight for you. You are not their priority....every union priority is it's members (first) before any other. I don't pity Nigerian students. I only Pity traders, and towns that depends on university operations to survive. They are the real innocent victims here. Students, ASUU and FG can go f** themselves. |
Duru009:No be watin TBJ talk abeg. He didn't say revolution will be in the form of election. He said the only solution to revolution in Nigeria is by integrating young people into politics. That political offices should not be shared among the elderly only. That young people should be carried along so that they don't feel left out, he gave some examples (which I have forgotten). If peter obi win the election, it is not a REVOLUTION. |
asanausana91:The president don't have the power to do that (in the case of ASUU), only the house does but will have to put it into voting. Sadly most of them are even more corrupt than some government officials and ASUU members. |
EIeyigidigan:You sound like a quack graduate |
Loot that are being re-looted |
This forum has become politicized. Too many paid political bandits here. No genuine opinions only sponsored ones |
ambale:9 out of every 10 Nigerians are foolish. This is the major reason the country is so bad. It's not the people in government, it's the people that put them there and keep licking their (Government) buttocks. If a corrupt government official is to visit your village today. 90 percent of the people will come out to praise and adore him. |
Getnewinfo:Don't worry, even we the Citizens would soon be proscribed. |
Damidave1124:All the offices and staff quarters of the affected lecturers in Kogi state are still on lockdown till today. No one (except the proscribed lecturers) has the right to use them... Some of the houses are being used for rent. Go and ask anybody. Proscribing a union on strike (especially ASUU is not wise). After the case, the state government would have to pay all the affected lecturers from 2017 till date (minus salaries earned by those already working under Government). From economic point of view, the governor only doomed the state for the next government. My problem with ASUU is that they don't find lasting solution to their issues. Everything must not be strike. Even if this current strike is called off, very soon, and I mean very very soon, they will still go on another strike. |
udemzyudex:My point is you cannot sack them while on strike. It's injustice, they will win the case everytime |
Jman06:What of the newly admitted students? Will you tell jamb to stop each session or pause till university catch up? The problem is that we are using one university academic calendar. Everyone is trying to catch up with it, no one will wait for u. The calendar is not just for federal and state universities. |
udemzyudex:Because FG has already signed an agreement to do A, B, and C. Now ASUU is on strike because FG failed to implement what they signed. As a democratic country, u can't sack them while on strike for a just cause... It will attract Court injucton and ASUU would win. The best FG can do is to wait for them to call off the strike b4 sacking comence |
Yankee101:I'm just wondering how that will affect government, when most of their kids are not in public universities. Na poor student go suffer am. Imagine paying school fees for that session and doing it half way. Some uni self na final exam people dey wait for. You will have to leave it and go enroll for a new session, starting everything over again. FG and ASUU decision are only affecting one party....that is the students. |
dazzlingd:Well, 8 years old is still under 15 (technically) |
Now 700 naira is one dollar Before APC 1.1 trillion was about 200 billion naira. These empty head politicians have wrecked the country. |
Convert that to naira na....abi shame dey catch u guys. Whenever you see federal government start using the dollar currency instead of naira in terms of stollen funds know say no be small amount. |
What is their offense? Why the harassment? Don't do to others what you don't want to be done to you. I know say if na my people now them no go allow pesin hear word |
Why do some Muslim get angry whenever a terrorist has been killed? You guys need to go for psychiatric check oo. There nothing and I mean absolutely nothing that should make a human being angry in such situations. |
Additional funding of 900b, not even the main security fund. How much are people |
Born2conquer:Buhari is a thief also. Birds of same feathers flocks together. Is Buhari too daft to do research on his own? Let's assume he is draft. What about the wife..she is well educated. What about the children...they are well educated. You think they don't know these things. Buhari is corrupt. Simple! |
