Epi:Why is he doing this? WHY? Mr Dude, why are you doing this? U almost cause our friendship to break up do you know that? Do you not feel anything? Do you? |
Its because most Nigerians had been living a hard life and they dont bother to think about petty things like this. All they ever think is how to get through the day and especially how to get through the month paying their house bills, and other bills and to ensure they have food for their belly. |

Spice for Suya Ingredients:- Three teaspoons finely ground roasted peanuts One teaspoon cayenne pepper or red pepper, or red pepper flakes One teaspoon paprika One teaspoon salt One-half teaspoon ground ginger One-half teaspoon garlic powder One-half teaspoon onion powder Steps:- Make the ground peanut powder: Remove shells and skins from roasted peanuts, if necessary. Grind the peanuts into a fine powder (briefly pound them in a mortar and pestle; crush them with a rolling pin; or use a food processor). Stir the spices into the powder, mixing well. Divide the peanut-spice mix into two parts, putting half in one bowl and half in another. Use one bowl to dip the meat and coat it, the other bowl should be used while the meat is being grilled. Be careful not to grind the peanuts into a paste. If the peanut powder is oily, wrap it in absorbent paper (paper towel) and squeeze for a minute or two. For really spicy hot suya, use more cayenne pepper -- for a milder dish, substitute paprika for some (all) of the cayenne pepper. |

HOW TO MAKE SUYA! INGREDIENTS Meat, cut into cubes. Ground hot pepper. Salt. 2 sliced tomatoes. 2 sliced onions. Ground kulikuli(Peanuts) (enough to cover the meat). Mixed spices (optional). Metal skewer for roasting. INSTRUCTIONS Mix the ground pepper, the salt, the kulikuli, and the spices together. Put the meat inside the mixture and make sure it is coated well with the mixture. Put the pieces of the sliced beef into a thin wooden or metal skewer. Add the sliced tomatoes and sliced onions inbetween the pieces of meat.
