Always welcome bro...still seems like yesterday..i can still recall all of the events.

Thank God for newswatch magazines set up by late Dele Giwa and Ray Ekpu. That was when and how I got addicted to reading till date. Followed the events that led up to Giwa's assassination and burial, then the Bendel terrors of Anini and Osunbor.

I also remember the famous quote headlined in one of the newswatch editions from Gen Babangida to the then I.G of police Etim Inyang "My friend,where is Anini"? To which I.G replied, we are on his heels, months later, Anini was haunted down hiding in a prostitutes room.

Found out almost 20 years later in the Netherlands that one of my roomies dad ASP Uanrero was the officer that accosted and shattered "the laws'' legs.

if this is true then there is a bigger corruption. Goods arrived u withhold it and ask the owner to pay for custom duties. Now the owner pays and u released the goods mean while u have not paid to the custom. Which means the goods was not sized or hold by custom but by Fedex. So how do custom know the amount or the number of item fedex receives in a month and how much they are to remit?

This is not just a Fedex issue, it concerns all the major courier services-DHL inclusive.

I was in my ND1 in 2006 when they came with such promises of scrapping HND and adopt B.tech but all was false. After my ND programme with a year Industrial Training (IT) I crossed to the university to further my studies. My people this is 2018 (12yrs after) I av banged Degree, Master's Degree and also running some professional programs yet Polytechnics have not stop awarding HND to their products. Am not here to discriminate cos polytechnics still stand has a gateway to my success but just that don't be deceive by this so called useless govt of our country. Believe in yourself and what you have and I see will all achieving our DREAMS.

I was in a "cursed" union I thought was marriage once in my life, and boy did I procrastinate to bail In hindsight, the procrastination and bidding of time is actually the reason I am here typing today because I am very sure if my intentions to bail were noticed, I sure woulda eaten my last meal, or had a knife forgotten in my bowels.

It got so worse that i'd sneak into the house and locked myself in a different room to sleep,not before making sure the doors are triple locked and the bed frame moved behind it.

The day I finally made the move, one of the days i'll never forget in my life. I'd picked the few clothings a simple bag could take at about 5am, sneaked up to the maiguard to please open the gates and not say a word about sighting me.

That was how I made a run for it, and I thank God I did on a daily.
