What you got was simply the more you look, the less you see. In your heart of hearts, you actually thought and believed from the flashings that you've landed yourself a big boy, but when you eventually got hitched you found out it was what we call ''wash wash'' in 419. Just move on girl, na so life be...you win some and you lose some.. click on my siggy to read about my amazing story. |
Typcal Dino...bleeding from every corner of his mouth. He initially was expecting props and accolades to his unguarded outburst, but when none was coming in and he'd realised the folly in his statement, hence this 360* cowardly turn-around. Check out my profile for my amazing story. |
I bring you kind greetings from Gaby's stable folks. Okay..I'll have to be the one to shoot the first salvo here.. I've always been an ardent believer of "whatever one soweth, that shall he/she reapeth, even bountifully by way of "Jara" or "Fisi". I'm going to talk about two instances where I witnessed and experienced instant karma at work. The first happened while I was still involved in the dishonourable and shameful 'business' of reaping where I hadn't sown, or conning people off their hard earned resources/life savings. The act of stealing or robbing people of their sweats worth, which we now glamorize with all sorts of pretty sounding names such as yahoo yahoo, 419, Guy, etc (thievery is thievery) no fanciful acronym to sugar coat it). We all believed in our "geniuses" and abilities to con our ways by the power of the tongue and make innocent/hard-working folds, hand over their entire life savings to us, by winning their trust with unrealistic promises. On one beautiful day in the lovely city of Amsterdam, I had gotten an instruction from my boss, whom I'd call 'Hendrix'. The instruction was to get prepared for a quick trip to the city of The Hague (Den Haag), also in The Netherlands, to meet up with a client and her husband, both of whom had just retired.Lets call the client who was from Austria, Monica. Monica, had been one of the regular 'payees' to my office for as long as I could remember and since I joined the office/trade some six months prior. She had been paying years before I got involved in the shameful enterprise. This was asides another client, who ironically was a fellow Nigerian. His only 'sin' supposedly, was that, he was "unfortunate" to have been born outside the shores of Nigeria (lol). I'm in no way trying to say he'd have been saved from ever getting scammed, no...but his ability to pay 'handsomely', or swallowing every story he was constantly fed with, hook, line and sinker, sure would have been limited I suppose. Any ways, this will be a story for another day. Will update when others start dropping their experiences. later folks..hugs y'all |
Na wa..so saddening. Depression and dejection are bith real and a huge battle. May he find the strength and support to carry on with this second shot at life. |

Chai..life oh life... Please check my profile for the links to my book, which is an eye-opener and sure makes for a good read. Kindly give me great reviews. Finding Europe through Africa’s Deserts and Seas, tells about the story of a young African man, who had become disillusioned with situations in his home country of Nigeria, and the raging poverty in his immediate family. As a result of this he'd decided to migrate to Europe for economic reasons. However, due to the lack of sufficient funds and other pre requisites, realizing his migration dreams legally, by obtaining a visa and traveling by Air had seemed unrealistic. He therefore, opted to travel through the deserts and seas of Africa, onwards Spain via Morocco. This book tells about the many perils, and deaths he had experienced in the course of this life-altering journey. You’d read about how the Author ended up at a cemetery, and stayed the night on a grave for lack of a shelter in the middle of nowhere, and how he helped a pregnant fellow traveller who had gone into labour in the desert deliver successfully. The Author also tells about how he eventually crossed over into Europe, and soon realized the grass wasn’t greener on the other side after all, and how he ended up in the criminal underworld of online scamming of innocent victims to get rich quick, and the karma that followed his actions. The story is a first-hand account of the Authors experiences and makes for an interesting read |
