Remember John the Baptist knew king Herod but he didn’t attend the kings birthday but instead he lost he’s head because of that birthday. We are Christians meaning Christlike n we are to follow Christ steps closely. So if Jesus didn’t celebrate n never ever mentioned it n he’s disciples didn’t the first century Christians didn’t why should we today as Christians do so knowing fully it’s origin wasn’t from God.
