Emmynator: There is hardly any secondary school dating that doesn't involve simping. The boys are novice and know nothing about female nature.
It's even worse for those who dating in secondary school worked for, they grow up thinking the stupid things they did will have the same effect in the real world, only to be deeply disappointed. I've checked and rechecked my past...being nice, if not savagely harnessed will always end in tears |

Education › Re: GTB Prints A Banner Costlier Than Its Content. by galadima77(m): 9:51am On Dec 02, 2020 |
Digitalwitch: Someone up there said GTB favours ashawo competition more than education, I laughed at his or her ignorance because he doesn't know how businesses operate. GTB is a profit making entity hence they invest in business that generate high revenue to them. Investment in education will not generate much because someone else would reap the benefits. Aside this, the so called ashawo competition is loved by many Nigerians so you don't expect GTB to throw their money on things that might not be beneficial to them. Have you wondered why educational programs lack sponsorship? Viewership has been a limiting factor that had mitigated this problem. MTN started a spelling competition for your young kids, how many followed such game? Sample opinions, go through the phones of most Nigerian youths to see what they watch or listen to. You would be surprised that they rarely pay attention to education except for few This one bitter oh! Na true e be? Because na truth dey bitter like this... #TRP |

NwaAmaikpe:

The devil has taken this one's soul. A perfect example of 'Nwanza the bird whom after eating a heavy meal, challenged his chi to a wrestling match'.
How will a son expose his own family on social media just because they love him so much not to let him make the same mistake the prodigal son made in the bible.
All of a sudden, he feels he should be weaned of their protection because he can afford to buy a phone and pay rent from obviously fraudulently obtained funds. (I stand to be corrected because only about 18% of ALL independent 25year-olds in today's Nigeria have legitimate sources of income.)
Walahi, barren couples don't know what good God has done them because the worst gift the devil can give any family is a blacksheep offspring. Pray you don't experience the trauma of barrenness. |
Business › Re: BREAKING: CBN Relaxes Rules On Foreign Remittances, Dom Accounts by galadima77(m): 1:40pm On Dec 01, 2020 |
NwaAmaikpe:

Lala, this development should be on the frontpage.
The Central Bank Of Nigeria was designed to be independent of the Executive. This independence of thoughts, strategies and policies was promoted by Clement Isong who avoided running up unsupportable debts and further heightened by Lamido Sanusi who questioned the fuel subsidy funding, challenged the budgetary spending of 25% of all government revenue by the legislative and also rejected the International Monetary Fund's insistence that the Naira be devalued.
Both CBN governors had disagreements on policies with the Heads of State they served under. Isong with Gowon and Sanusi with Jonathan. But what we have today is a yessir dummy; one who goes to Economic Summit Forums only to receive orders and ask where to sign from people who don't know their North pole from their South pole in Finance, Economics or Business.
CBN's recent unstable policies on FX usage and allocation are obviously rushed and ill-thought out...more like permutations from illiterate financial pundits whose major aims are to frustrate perceived political enemies and to perpetually keep a certain group at financial business disadvantage.
Just when you are just about to get used to one nonsense rule they reverse it and later reimpose it. What has mandating that offshore and FX transfers are to be made from your Telegraphic Transfer Balance (TTB) and not cash deposits got to do with the exchange rate or availability of FX?
To me it is simply to ensure some people's money rots with them. That is vendetta and not strategic thinking.
Godwin Emefiele is less than a rubber stamp. He is a stamp carved out of decayed cocoyam. If he had any decency in him, he would have resigned 3years ago. But keeping his job by licking ass is more important than leaving a name in Sterling.
The economy is on a free fall. Interest rates on deposits are almost non-existent, stamp duty is charged on Savings accounts, accounts of perceived "enemies" of the government are flagged and frozen. Unsustainable loans are requested every now and then to sustain our outrageously exorbitant cost of governance.
If not for the abundance of Ponzi Schemes masquerading as FX investors, Nigerians would have been eating stone now.
I miss Charles Soludo. I miss Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. The CBN is just like the NLC; a total write-off. I like this... |

whirlwind7: Then try to do the same and realize what the actual problem is.
Sure, it is cheaper in the north because that's the source of the produce By the time you pay for high transportation costs, spend days instead of hours on the road, and settle the uncountable police and military checkpoints along the road....do you expect the price to remain as low as it was in the north? Plus, there is less harvest due to bandits/terrorists activities. Just few days ago you saw in the news how farmers are tasked by bandits before they can harvest their crops. A village paid millions as tax to bandits just to be allowed to harvest their crops.
Even that quantity of onions for ₦200 is expensive for Bauchi and the north in general. It had become expensive.
The way the different retailers buy it from wholesalers in the various markets is same way they would sell. Are you trying to say all the market women and street side vendors in Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Rivers, Imo, Delta etc all sat down, discussed and connived to increase the price of onions? This person gets the picture...he either travels a lot or his source of information is credible. |

Brachaa: How feasible is this? Only 3 hours for circle time? Minus break period 30mins, that leaves us with 2hours.. What are they are expected to kewrn within this short period? This is crazy.
If they want to resume, let them resume fully cos I don't see this arrangement working. Let them stop this eye service already. If Coro actually exist in Nigeria and want to spread, it doest take up to 30mins to do that so what's all the ceremony about? Have you heard of the funds claimed to have been expended on Covid-19? How else do you want them to justify such figures. You know the longer they stay in schools the higher the chances of contacting Coro. Meaning coming in contact with Coro for less than 2 hours won't do any harm. No be so? |
