SlyDev:The problem with you slum dwellers from the waste is a combination of Illiteracy, poverty, lack of exposure and extremely low IQ. Years of subhuman living conditions have made these cretins to see their leaders as gods who they can't interact with on a normal level. Peter Obi is obviously keeping it real and relating with all Nigerians as equal human beings regardless of class or social standing yet these social deviants are so foolish to mock it! They prefer the kleptomaniac rulers who call them lazy and pay them 30k to be constituting nuisance on social media while their lives waste away. Olodo, how Peter Obi relates with ordinary Nigerians is how it is done in developed countries. In UK, the prime minister sometimes enter metro! In Norway, their president sometimes rides on his bicycle to work! An ordinary French citizen even slapped their president Macron! However, in Nigeria, your corrupt rulers most of whom are not even as educated as an average Nigerian will have soldiers flogging you and destroying your car because their convoy is driving by. They abuse you all and deliberately refuse to make life better for you because they've been wired to see you all as subhumans undiserving of the good things of life. That's why they travel abroad to threat common malaria while leaving you to die. Peter Obi has told you he is not desperate to become a president and someone that lives the kind of life like him obviously is never after accumulation of illgotten wealth or fame! Shame on you and your likes, social deviants and senseless cretins like you disgust me!!! |
SugarGirl44:Fortunately or unfortunately, the threats aren't same across Southern Nigeria rather, SW is currently where NC was few years ago. The NC has almost been beating into submission and that's why you see them bury their dead quietly without much complain talk more of retaliation. In the 1990's and prior to the last decade, you can't attack the likes of Zango Kataf, Southern Kaduna, Jos, Benue etc without the indigenes fighting back inflicting proportionate damage on the attackers but after years of constant debilitating attacks and mass wave of invasion, they hardly retaliate these days no matter the provocations. At this pace, give it more time and they will finally accept their fate as conquered people. Now, SW is currently facing same issues NC faced before caving in. How can settlers in Lagos be more domineering and intimidating than the indigenes? Someone was burnt to death in a high brow area of Lagos by these people because of 100 naira! Can a Yoruba man mistakenly hit an "aboki" okada rider without having his vehicle burnt or himself mobbed to death? Whenever there is a little crises anywhere in Lagos they will immediately bring smoking guns to knife fight! It has happened in LASU area, mile 12, Lekki etc. What about the rural areas, they've succeeded in camping themselves in virtually all over SW! Sunday Igboho realized the threat and tried to act but unfortunately, his own people threw him under the bus! Do you think Igbos are not suffering due to the lockdowns and all currently going on in their region? However, they're looking at the bigger picture! IPOB may be constituting "nuisance" but they're serving a very important purpose! Without them, we would be very vulnerable just like others in Nigeria. We can see beyond the propaganda. Lastly, if you're waiting for your politicians to take the lead then you're in for a rude awakening because they simply don't care, their concerns is what crumbs they can get! |
omenka:Earthworm has crept out as usual to utter rubbish. I wonder how someone who claims to be from Benue is never concerned about his state/region but is ready to die for tinubu. SMH. |
supereagle:You really must be delusional to believe this crap you wrote. Now to burst your bubble, the North may even accept the breakaway of Igbos and Niger Deltans but you see SW, they would rather fight with their last blood than to allow you guys break away with Lagos ![]() You think they're not aware of everything going on in Nigeria and how things may turn out? They've already succeeded halfway in totally subjugating SW and you think they would let go? A prominent Hausa man even said the other time that should Nigeria breakup, the North would definitely keep Kwara and also have a 30 mile radius cutting through SW to Lagos ![]() Your Muslims are already psychologically defeated as they see themselves as subservient. Anyways good luck with your fantasies ![]() |
Easy5265:Lol, imagine how ridiculous some of you are, in a thread talking about severe security threat in Lagos, you are not bothered but more concerned about what is happening in the East? Is there any part of Nigeria without serious issues now? What about the crises in Sokoto, Abuja etc? Are you for real !!!! |
ArmaniUhuru:You guys are still sleeping while your region is gradually being invaded and encircled. I have not seen a more docile and unthinking folks before!! |
Thank God!! |
God bless whoever wrote this report! I love the way it was stated 'NORTHERN NIGERIA' repeatedly. These guys can't continue to disgrace us up and down. I work online where clients from different parts of the world converge and flying Nigeria's flag while global news keeps emphasizing how Nigeria is the world's poverty capital and now hungriest people on earth ![]() Different regions in Nigeria should be semi autonomous before the sinking North pulls everyone along with them into the abyss. |
Keke napep is meant for third world countries in Africa, India and Pakistan among other hopeless places. This is an unwelcome development and would soon be scrapped by the authorities there! |
Igbo Amaka!!!! Why always us every time ![]() ? |
schoolboij:Lol, seems you are not grown yet as at 1999. FYI, In 1999, Obasanjo was fresh out of prison, broke and out of sync with the politics of that period. Ekwueme on the other hand has been active in politics and was the leader of the group G30 that formed PDP. Before the Jos primaries, the military leaders, notably IBB, Danjuma, Abubakar and others met and decided that Obasanjo should be supported massively to clinch the ticket of PDP based on 2 major grounds I.e 1. Because of the ill treatment that was meted out to Abiola and 2. Because they felt that Obasanjo was pro north based on how he supported Shagari in 1979 to win the presidential election against Awolowo his own brother. As at 1999, the military hierarchy were still very much in control of the politics in Nigeria and largely determines who gets what. I can assure you that north will rather decide to continue ruling indefinitely than allow the presidency to return to the SW any time soon. |
Perkins2018:You guys think you are smart but even a child can see through your cunning acts. In 1999, Alex Ekwueme was a founding father of PDP and was far more popular than Obasanjo and Falae, but he was denied the ticket of PDP in order to pacify the SW over Abiola who was cheated. If Alex Ekwueme had contested against Falae, he would have defeated him hands down and the SW would have felt very bad. Now, if you are honest with yourself and altruistic, you will advocate for the two major parties to field Igbo candidates to ensure that heads or tails, the presidency goes to the SE. Anything else is won't work. You can't accuse the north for being greedy and power drunk when you are no different. It is even better for the presidency to go back to the north that has 3 regions and hundreds of ethnic groups than for it to return to the SW that has one ethnic group albeit one that has ruled for 8 out of the last 20 years and has produced vice for as many years as well. The north knows this sentiment as well and would rather decide to continue ruling indefinitely than allow it go to the Yorubas. So, PDP will rather field a northerner except the APC is willing to field an Igbo man. |
DerideGull:I can wager a bet that you're a kid! Why is it paining you that KC (who is not even from Imo) said that 'Mbaise nwere madu'? If you are enlightened you should have known that 'Mbaise nwere madu' is a slogan or motto because of their huge population. Stop hating unnecessarily!! |
I love their swag! KC and E money like coming to Mbaise. I also met them at my Chairman's house in Amumara, Ezinihite Mbaise when they were hosted during Christmas. E money is more flamboyant but KC despite being the elder is always calm. |
stinggy:I was expecting to see some Omata guys spin there usual conspiracy theories of how Arthur Eze sponsored Ugwuanyi and Dapo's elections respectively. After all, they said so just because Emeka Ihedioha visited him and even made same claim on Ebonyi governor too. Next story may be how he sponsored Atiku and Obi too. Odi egwu! |
![]() Chai, just negodu comments above What crime did the op commit by trying to sell his e-book?? I swear, perennial hard times has turned the average Nigerian into a sadist!! Post this same article/advert on sites where the users are comfortable eg Quora and I can bet a million dollars that the comments won't be like this. Who will rescue Nigerians from frustration ![]() |
Please what's the best engine oil suitable for Lexus ES 330 sedan car? It was bought as a tokunbo but I just observed on the dashboard that the indicator is showing lack of oil. Thanks. |
Jobabori:Jesu Kristi, so ordinary 3 story building is very rare to see in sections of Ibadan yet when we upload pictures of 16th century looking mass of red roof with plaster-coated mud houses covering most parts of Ibadan, you will claim it was taken in 1930 ![]() Lol, I can't stop laughing. Even third rate towns in Igboland like Orlu, Nnewi, Okigwe, Nsukka, Oguta etc have 3 story buildings in virtually every street!! This is serious!!! |
frozen70:Look at this small afonja girl with small brain. So, developers are the ones building these substandard buildings in afonja domains like Bode in Ibadan and Lagos island where indigenes live while they build solid structures in their own region and settlements?? Continue seeing Igbo giants everywhere, after all we are omnipresent ![]() |
Jayslicky:That's the perfect description of a Hobbesian society. Nigeria is already imploding under its own weight of ineptitude, chaos, corruption, confusion etc. It can only get worse except we do the right thing always or break up for efficiency to take root. |
Owning a land in the city is one of the most reliable insurance against future uncertainties in a volatile country like Nigeria. |
As a land buyer in Owerri, all that is required of you is: 1. Choose a land you want. 2. Agree on a price with seller. 3. Ask trusted friends, relatives or lawyer to go for inspection. 4. Request for the land details I.e. is it inherited land? What documents does it have? Is it registered at the ministry of lands? What is the reason for selling it? Etc 5. Pay for Ego Omenala (Tradition money) if you are okay with the land. 6. Pay for the land proper. 7. Pay agent fee of 5% to the agents that connected you with the buyer. 8. Possess your land and make your presence felt. You can do these buy clearing and burning the woods, fencing, surveying and registration etc 9. Pronto, you own your land forever!! |
We are reputable and try as much as possible to be honest and open with our clients. This is why we don't mind giving the contact details of land sellers to either our clients or their lawyers for independent verification. |
Galaxy Properties have an excellent and unblemished record of selling genuine and hassle free lands, and we have sold several lands to Nairalanders over the years, including clients that never came in person but sent representatives to come for inspection and payment after negotiations with us. |
With as low as 1.5 million naira, you could be the proud owner of a land in this soon to be exclusive estate. |
Owerri is currently about the fastest growing city in Nigeria today. However, within the city, there is a new developing area at Naze where lands are cheap but appreciating rapidly as lots of investors keep buying up lands around there. This area was an impenetrable jungle a few years back, but two major markets were recently moved to Naze and coupled with the fact that the area is a neighboring community to Nekede that has a higher institution, it has led to a boom in property around there. You could buy land around here for 500k just a few a couple of years back but they are now selling for 1.5 to 3m. However, considering the type of estates that are springing up there on a weekly basis, lands there would most likely sell for 5m in no distant time. The area is the only residential area in Owerri closest to Imo airport. Its pros include 1. Virgin territory without presence of indigenous settlement. 2. Proximity to Imo airport. 3. Completely residential without students, hotels or markets (at least for now). 4. Relatively cheap. 5. Accessible, the Aba/Owerri road that is nearby has been dualized and widened with street light, while the other major road, Nekede/Iheagwa road has been widened too. I can assure you with absolute confidence that this is the best area to buy land in Owerri for residential purposes. Contact us today @ Galaxy Properties, 134 Douglas road, opp Sunic Fast-food, Owerri or call 0806 819 8016. |
Chai, what a shame! "Too ugly to be raped" this statement is too sad, ridiculous and unfortunate to be funny. According to James Hardly Chase, "in the dark all cats are black" So what is these stvpid judges saying? Even the pussy of an ugly woman can be more exciting than that of a pretty woman... If you know, you know!! |
BrownRoofRep:You are the one suffering from ignorance and pettiness. Arthur Eze made an unsolicited donation to the governor of Ebonyi. The government of Ebonyi gave him some contracts he is executing in the state, and he felt the need to show solidarity with Umahi. Same scenario is obtainable in most other states across Nigeria so there is nothing special in donating money to Umahi. Some of these donations are kick-backs given back to governors or other public office holders for contracts. |

globemoney:Lol, very typical. This is exactly the kind of Tales by moonlight stories you will hear omata people discussing in front of their shops inside main market ![]() My brother which line/market are you typing from? I just dey catch shame on your behalf. So, an incumbent governor who has ruled for 4 years already, with monthly allocation running into billions that no one vets, not to talk of security votes that run into billions of naira monthly which they don't render account to anyone yet same governor will now become so broke that he would run to Arthur Eze to sponsor his reelection Nna, igwa gi nke bu eziokwu, you are suffering from iberiberism ![]() If Dangote were to be from Anambra I can't imagine the kind of fallacious theories you guys would be churning out. All these unnecessary boasting is very childish to say the least!! |
