Ijoh: You see why too much of kai-kai is not good for you people?? Just look at the nonsense you wrote and tell me if a normal person will say such rubbish?! As for the so-called landmass, what percentage of it is truly land and habitable? Even in Yenegoa, you will find expanses of swampy marsh areas that can't be used for development and they will just be lying fallow. You think landmass is directly proportional to population? Only a daft person will reason like that because Niger, Borno and the other Northern states should have been the most populated states in Nigeria by far. Same way Sahel wastelands caused their sparse population is also how marshes, swamps and grooves with high incidences of malaria caused your small population. Stop decieving yourself, human beings are not ghosts, if Ijaws are not few like other minorities, then we would have been seeing you guys everywhere and not just in P.H and Bayelsa. Even Ibibio is more in number than Ijaws. 3 Likes 1 Share |

successmatters: You think politics is about wishful thinking and thoughtless emotions? Peter Obi's support cuts across all Nigerians that want a radical improvement to the shameful situation on ground, his candidature is not an Igbo mandate. In fact, the more he makes it less so, the better for him. Peter Obi did the right thing by leaving PDP and it would help his reputation in the long run. However, he has no chance of winning in 2023, it's just not possible. His target should be either 2027 or 2031. Peter Obi may come third in next year's election and it won't be a bad result for him considering he is using a relatively unknown party. Politics is not for people that can't reason beyond emotions. 5 Likes |
Politics / This Man Is Going To Be Atiku's Vice! by Galaxyowerri(m): 8:53pm On May 29, 2022 |
After all the brouhaha following PDP's primaries, attention is now focused on who is going to be his Vice. After considering several factors, I can assure that Emeka Ihedioha is going to be Atiku's vice. Although, Peter Obi left PDP and it angered many people, particularly Igbos, it hasn't changed the fact that SE and SS remains PDP's strongholds, at least for now. Atiku is mandated to pick his Vice from Southern Nigeria and from all indications, it is certainly going to be from SE or SS. SE unlike SS is percieved to be marginalized and sentiments is in their favour. Also, SE has the advantage of giving any candidate block votes unlike someone from SS, a region that is ethnically heterogeneous. Atiku knows that without Tambuwal's sacrifice, he won't have emerged as winner. Ihedioha is probably Tambuwal's best friend in Southern Nigeria. Tambuwal consulted him alongside Udom and Obaseki before throwing Wike under the bus. Atiku will no doubt ask Tambuwal for his input/recommendation on whom to use as Vice and Tambuwal is likely to go for Ihedioha. Atiku wouldn't need a garrulous character like Wike to be his Vice and would certainly prefer a more calm person like Ihedioha. So, the idea of compensating Wike with Vice president position is out of the question. Atiku's vice president in waiting is Ihedioha, when it is finally announced, remember you heard it here first! 10 Likes 1 Share |

chrisxxx: Why should Igbos like the Ikwerre? Who started hating the other first? You think we have forgotten all that happened during and after the war? Abandoned property nko? The same people continue to rub it in our face that they've nothing in common with Igbos even when they use our language, culture and all. For your information, this is the information age, and we have the memo on Ikwerre people. You can't hate Igbos and expect love from us. What happened to Wike is just a tip of the iceberg and I'm so glad he was humiliated. They would soon send Wike to jail too for all the billions of state money he embezzled and wasted. The way Tambuwal threw him under the bus when he needed him most should tell you that North would never accept you guys no matter how much you try to bribe them or slave for them. Ikwerre is just a tribe of 2 and half local governments punching above their weight but they would soon be cut to size. Yorubas and Igbos have the population and connections to challenge the federal government when it comes for their people they love but Ikwerre can't make noise when Wike is picked up and thrown into jail 3 Likes |

Politics / The Implications Of Atiku's Emergence In PDP by Galaxyowerri(m): 9:50am On May 29, 2022 |
Atiku's emergence as PDP'S flag bearer has changed the equation in many ways. The ruling party must have been praying for an unpopular candidate like Wike to win PDP primaries which would have allowed them to present any candidate in APC and still win comfortably. Unfortunately for them, it didn't work out that way and Atiku won. Now let's consider certain factors; 1. Atiku is from NE and they haven't ruled Nigeria since Tafawa Balewa. So they share similar sentiments with SE in terms of equity and fairness. 2. Atiku has been contesting for so long and is now known to many Nigerians. His face and name is not strange. 3. He has so much money at his disposal, regardless of whether it is illgotten or not. Such money will be used to campaign aggressively and bribe lots of people including the impoverished masses. 4. Rumors claimed that Atiku actually defeated Buhari in the last election but was rigged out. You may argue that Peter Obi gave him so much credibility but even without Peter Obi on his side, he still remains relatively popular and bearing in mind non of the aspirants anywhere near Buhari in popularity, at least in the North. Let's look at the top contestants in APC: 1. Osinbajo. 2. Lawan. 3. Amaechi. 4. Jonathan. 5. Tinubu. 6. Umahi. 7. Rochas. I see non of these men as capable of defeating Atiku on election day. If in fact, Jonathan will be a fool to allow himself dragged into this race because a defeat in the hands of Atiku will will not only humiliate him, but will rubbish him totally. Lawan is largely unknown in the South and even in the North, he is not half as popular as Atiku. Amaechi is from a micro minority tribe and can't get block votes anywhere. Worse still, majority of Northerners will definitely vote Atiku than a "kafir". Tinubu is only popular in the SW, and being a Muslim means he can only hope to use a Christian Northerner as VP. He may have a huge amount embezzled money at his disposal to match Atiku's but it won't change much on ground because Northerners will collect money/goods from him and still vote their own. Osinbajo probably has the most promising chance in APC currently, he could get block votes from SW, significant votes from SE and SE but will still fail miserably in the North as a "kafir" Same faith will apply on Umahi and Rochas. The fact that Tambuwal who pretended to be Wike's best friend. Enjoyed Wike's stolen money and gave the impression he would stand with Wike any day could betray him so blatantly speaks a lot about Northerners. Tambuwal is from NW, Atiku is from NE yet three factors i.e. religion, ethnicity and region was what he considered before throwing Wike under the bus. I won't be surprised if the ruling party and cabals goes behind to negotiate with Atiku for a soft landing post 2023. |

Useless and very idiotic rants by a sponsored faction of Ohanaeze nobody recognizes. When Obi left PDP, they kept silent but now Atiku defeated the drunk called Wike, they started constituting nuisance. I prefer Atiku winning PDP ticket than Wike, at least to teach some fools life lessons. Whether Igbos vote for PDP or not, is now left for individual Igbos to decide and not for these paid fools to use in doing their hatched job. I personally lost interest in PDP when Peter Obi left, but Igbos have nothing against Atiku. 4 Likes |

Ajens1991: In your wildest dreams will Wike win Jonathan or even any other person in Southern Nigeria. Ask yourself this simple question, where is his base? Who are those going to vote for him? At least, Goodluck will get block votes from Ijaws and also majority of votes from SE and SS. He will also get significant votes from SW. Aside Ikwerre with 2 & half local governments, who else will vote for Wike in SS talk more of other regions? Ijaws don't like him. Igbos don't like him. Muslims don't like him. Yorubas don't like him. Hausas don't like him. The educated class see him as a drunk with agbero character who is not fit to rule. He can actually win PDP primaries by bribing his way and using the influence of governors but that's where his journey ends. His emergence will cause PDP to lose so badly in the elections. |

DuBLINGreenb: I hope you know the difference between power station and power plants? Meanwhile, I see no economic benefit to states building power plants when they would end up sending it to national grid while the state remains in darkness. That's scam to me and waste of resources. The best model is what Barth Nnaji did in Aba with Geometric. Focus on a particular city and ensure they have 24 hours uninterrupted power supply. A significant percentage of power generated by the gencos are allowed to waste because discos refuse to distribute them. 3 Likes |

slimfit1: Everything generated at the power plant goes to the national grid. Didn't the you read where it was stated that on-grid license was granted to them? Nigeria runs a redundant system whereby states can't generate and keep their own power within their states. If that is the case, Nigeria would have long solved the power problem because of competition it would have created. Currently, geometric power plant in Aba is the only large power plant in Nigeria that is off-grid. They supply power to individuals and industries within Aba. 4 Likes 1 Share |

You can't kill the joy of millions of Nigerians who saw Peter Obi as a new shining light at the end of a very dark tunnel without facing dire consequences. SW don't like PDP and will vote APC. SE that used to be their base is going to abandon them now. NW will vote APC. NE will be divided. NC will be divided. SS will be divided. So where is PDP going to get votes from? The useless party is about to suffer their worst defeat since 1999. They were using Peter Obi's popularity to stay relevant without wanting to support him. Talk about eating your cake and still having it. Peter Obi is far smarter than them and pulled the rug from under their feet when they least expected it. |

This foolish attention seeker, I didn't bother reading his rubbish! Look at a so-called Mr know-all always sounding like a primary 6 pupil. The truth is that Peter Obi realized that Wike and Atiku were going to use stolen dollars to bribe delegates instead of supporting their best chance at winning the election. They couldn't rise above their personal selfish interests for the common good of the party. All those army of youths across Nigeria that saw Peter Obi as their new hope are going to descend heavily on PDP same with Igbos that saw Peter Obi as their chance to rule Nigeria. Since this charlatan who goes about arrogating to himself as Mr know-all doesn't even know basic common sense, then it shows how senseless and delusional he is. 425 Likes 30 Shares |
