Cannonleo:The fact is that Michika and Madagali LGs of Adamawa state are sadly under Boko Haram as I am writing this. The Governor of the state stated at the INEC stakeholders forum as one of the reasons for his call for postponement of the election. |
The soldiers should have been used to take over Sambisa forest, Baga, Gwoza, Michika and other places captured by Boko Haram instead of taking over a stadium for political campaign. Mtswss. |
Another desperate move that cannot stop the change we are waiting for. |
This won't stop Buhari from winning come FeBuhari 14. |
Why I don’t talk about Jonathan’s family, religion - Buhari Category: Inside politics Published on Tuesday, 20 January 2015 05:02 Written by Nuruddeen M. Abdallah, Minna All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari said he refused to be provoked into discussing President Jonathan’s family, health and religion because he’s preoccupied with issues affecting the country. Buhari said yesterday morning on his Twitter handle (@ThisIsBuhari) that he is worried by Jonathan’s desperation, anger and threats, adding that elections are not wars. “It is a tragedy to see the ruling party focus on pettiness and lies; rumours of cancer, foreign treatment, and certificates they know exist,” he said. He said Jonathan’s “desperation is beyond my understanding. “What is this obsession with lies? What is this obsession with pettiness? What is this obsession with threats and attacks? “All of us, citizens and voters need to ask ourselves - why is our President so desperate? “How can the President of this country be talking about remembering phone numbers and coup speeches? “How can a President who has led this country for six years be unable to run on his own record and his achievements?” the APC flag bearer said. He wondered why Jonathan has become so desperate, saying “where is his fabled calm, where is his reserve, where is his composure? Why is he so ruffled? Why is he so frustrated and afraid?” He said Nigerians “should be deeply worried that a President who called for calm during governorship elections has now lost his cool in his own elections.” He added that “our President and his allies must remember that he is not only a candidate for office; he is the President of Nigeria. http://dailytrust.com.ng/daily/politics/44821-why-i-don-t-talk-about-jonathan-s-family-religion-buhari |
Before Jonathan Boko Haram was not in control of an inch of Nigerian territory but now it controls large areas in three different state and the same time killing and maiming people in several states. |
Ikimi is either ignorant about the issue or is lying because the Justice Ayo Irikife panel did its work and presented its report which absolved Buhari of any wrong doing. They went to London and interviewed the Manager of the Midland bank and the Manager told them no such account exists in the bank. The Justice Irikife panel did its work, presented its report absolving Buhari of any wrong doing and the government released its white paper based on the findings of the panel. |
gangar:Earlier, I asked the OP to provide the addresses of the Almajiri schools and he responded that if he privide the addresses the schools may be bombed to tarnish the image of GEJ. There may be few Almajiri school built but the reality is that you never see such school or anyone who has seen such schools or their students in the north. |
lecturerdabo:I can't get your drift. If you can post all this pictures why is it so difficult for you to give their locations or their locations is a top secret? |
Please give us the locations of the Almajiri schools. |
bodejohn:The person, Nyako, who wrote that result the last time is no longer around and it seems nobody is willing to do it for him again and even if there is anyone willing to do it for him. The security situation in the state also made Jonathan extremely unpopular. |

SUBMARINE:Ok, I'll do so. |
SUBMARINE:Sugu, Ganye LG, Adamawa state. I |
major466:Give me more education on the e-wallet please. |
SUBMARINE:I didn't say anybody cheated the farmers. What I said is that the fertiliser allocated to the farmers is too small to make significant impact. |
HugeMac:The reason food prices remain constant despite Naira falling is simple; it is because this is a harvest season for most food crops. By the way I'm not talking about food prices what I'm saying the so-called e-wallet is a scam. |
The so-called achievements in agriculture is the biggest lie because I have not a single farmer given the so-called e-wallet enabled phone despite spending tens of billions of Naira on the program. I witnessed the fertilizer distribution in my area last year. The farmers were notified of their allocation of two bags of fertilizer each through their phones. At the collection centres they paid for the fertilizer allocated to them and collected their fertilizer. I repeat nobody gave the farmers any e-wallet enabled phone and the allocation is too small to make any meaningful impact. |

They have come to realise that Jonathan is a failure and is going to lose the Feb 2015 election. Sai Buhari . |
The National Publicity Secretary of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, has spoken out to address insinuations that he referred to the opposition All Progressives Congress as a Muslim party. According to Metuh, Islam is a religion of peace and it is unfair to equate it with the APC. “It is important to keep the records straight. I never labelled APC ‘Muslim Brotherhood of Nigeria.’ I made a statement and I was drawing the attention of people to what some northerners have said. That was an advice. Then supporter of APC has nothing to do with religion. I referred to the opposition ideology as being supporter of APC, that it has something to do with supporter of APC being the meaning of anarchy and chaos. supporter of APC is an association. What they want to put in force is anarchy, chaos and civil unrest,” he said. “So, the idea the opposition has is completely anarchy and chaos. It is an ideology that there will be parallel government, that they will fight if they lose election. So, that is a supporter of APC ideology of no respect for law and order, that is what the APC has personified in their statements and utterances, they want chaos in our polity and that is why we call them supporter of APC. It has absolutely nothing to do with religion. For me, I know that some people in this world, their ambition is to have money, some is to have children, some is to have mansions, then there are some people that their ambition is just to worship their God and you cannot question that. We do not think that the APC is a Muslim party. “Islam itself is a religion of peace, it is a religion that respects law and order, a religion that wants things to be done appropriately and it has respect for constituted authority. So, you cannot equate it with a party that has no respect for constituted authority. No, the APC is not a Muslim party. What they have is a band of anarchy, whether they are from the North-east or west, they want to subvert our democracy and we will not allow that,” he added. In a recent parley with newsmen, Metuh also spoke on his party’s chances in APC-controlled Lagos, Kano and Rivers states in the coming general elections. “The truth is that we are going to win the elections, that I can assure you. There is no way the people in these states will not vote for President Goodluck Jonathan,” he said. “In Kano State, we are going to have difficulty, but we do hope that we will struggle to control the state, we will struggle for supremacy. “We are in control of Rivers. “In Lagos, we will like to believe that now is the time that the people are yearning for change. There is multiplication of taxation in Lagos. People are crying under that yoke that they need a change from. So, we are going to win Lagos as well by God’s grace,” Metuh stated. On the issue of defection of some former principal officers of the party to the opposition, Metuh said: “I must be honest with you, mistakes were made. Some of them were preventable. I believe the issue of Gemade was preventable, because I know, being the longest serving member of this party at the national executive level, I can tell you that Barnabas Gemade is one of the best national chairmen we had in the history of our party. “We made some mistakes and we have learnt some lessons. But I know that wherever Gemade is, whatever he is doing, he is PDP 100 percent. He thinks about PDP, his mind is PDP and he will never leave PDP. Unlike some people who have left us and criticised us, I can assure you that Gemade and Samuel Ortom can never ever abuse the leadership of PDP. May be it has to do with their personal interests, that is why they left, but in terms of ideology, belief of the party, they cannot go against it. Gemade is a democrat. I asked him and he said he was not leaving but that he is not happy, so I believe that by and large, mistakes were made along the line.” http://www.ekekeee.com/apc-muslim-party-winning-lagos-olisa-metuh/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter |
It is true; he is so unpopular that even in PDP secretariats you hardly see his posters. |
evanscheck:I think this is what the president and his supporters are banking on to remain in power but I tell you this time the votes must count. |
The BBC Hausa Service, this morning has reported that the APC has finally settled for Prof Yemi Osibanjo as Buhari's running mate in the February 2015 presidential election. The BBC Hausa Service spoke with Hon Faruk Adamu aliyu, a close confidant of Gen Muhammad Buhari, who confirm the decision of the party. http://www.bbc.co.uk/hausa/news/2014/12/loop ko |

myola:Former Gongola state now Adamawa and Taraba States. |
When GMB was head of state I can vividly remember the following: 1, There was electricity (24hrs) in my village. 2. There was running tap water (24hrs) 3. I didn't pay a single kobo in my primary sch. I was provided with free text books, exercise books, pencils, crayons, uniform, etc. 4. He and his deputy were Muslims yet no Christian complained if being marginalised. 5. When Maitatsine sect attacked our state the sect was crushed and Buhari was at the scene of the fight within 24hrs. 6. My father bought his brand new GL Peugeot car for less than #6,000. 7. Non of our neighbors dare sponsor terrorists to destabilize our country. 8. There was no single bomb blast. 9. Police do fear collecting bribes. |
barcanista:The delegates simply collected his #100,000 per delegate and voted for their preferred candidate. An attempt was made to rig the election by omitting names of delegates from some of LGs but the attempt was staunchly resisted by the delegates. Atiku himself was booed for the attempted rigging of the election. |
