They used scaremongering during the campaign and it did not work but they are still using the same failed tactic. |
airmark:Did he say he is killing useless people? |
WATCHOVER:I'm pained because people who looted our Nigeria are shamelessly gloating over the deaths of our people and trying to make political capital out of it. |
PDP is shamelessly trying to make political capital out of the gory situation in Plateau State if not why is Uche Secondus not declaring 7 days of mourning for those killed in crises in Rivers and Cross Rivers states? |
Few days ago the Bachama militia were killing Fulanis plying roads in the area, the question is could this be a retaliatory attack? |
Why should CAN complain when they equally used swords such as 'urchin' to describe her? CAN should not complain when people like Onorchie attack them because they have since joined politics and became a political tool for PDP. |
Turantula:What is brave in forcing out an innocent man and his three years old son and killing them? |
Howmon:It is just that he is caught this time. |
Alhaji Gambo Jimeta is not dead. http://www.tgnews.com.ng/2018/06/20/rumours-former-ig-gambo-is-alive-not-dead/ |
powerkey:None of those Generals would sacrifice himself to be arrested for your imagined booby trap. Buhari would arrest OBJ and nothing would happen. OBJ should just not cross the line. |
Delivar:This is the same question I have been asking. |
Fuckyoumod:Do you expect them to tell you that they too killed the Fulani and took their cows? The violence is mutual and most of the times it is the innocent from both sides that suffer. |
Unlike Buhari, Atiku cannot be president of Nigeria. |
On the so-called media trial I agree with him because the looters are conniving with the judiciary to avoid conviction. At least let them feel the discomfort of media trial. |
Chochovini:Sure he did proclaimed that God told him to warn Buhari not to contest for the presidency and that should Buhari refuse to heed to the advice and contest he (Buhari) would die according to the message he received from God. I have the video. |
PurestBoy:How is it Buhari's making that Boko Haram refused to release the girl? Let us urge pray that the girl is safely returned to her family. |
omocalabar:I don't know whether you have written what you wrote out of ignorance or mischief because on the Mambila plateau it is the Fulani that i are being killed by the Mambila. |
Audu Ogbeh, minister of agriculture, says Thailand has accused President Muhammadu Buhari’s government of being responsible for the collapse of seven of its rice mills. The minister made this known at a meeting of the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative (PFI) and leadership of the Fertiliser Producers and Suppliers of Nigeria (FEPSAN) held at the council chamber of the presidential villa, Abuja, on Friday. The meeting was presided over by Buhari. Ogbeh said Thailand’s ambassador to Nigeria made the “accusation’’ when he visited him in February. According to the minister, the ambassador lamented that the collapse of the rice mills has increased the unemployment rate in his country from 1.2 percent to four percent. “Just like two weeks ago, the ambassador of Thailand came to my office and said to me that we have really dealt with them,” he said. “But I asked what did we do wrong and he said unemployment in Thailand was one of the lowest in the world, 1.2 percent, it has gone up to four percent because seven giant rice mills have shut down because Nigeria’s import has fallen by 95 percent on rice alone. “So, Mr President we thank you for the support and we thank all the agencies and those of you in the private sector for your resilience.” The minister, however, alerted the nation on what he described as alarming smuggling of fake fertiliser and rice along the western borders of the country. He, therefore, called on the federal government to take drastic measures to check the trend as all previous diplomatic measures had failed to address the menace. “But one last request Mr President, we have to take one strong measure against our neighbour to the West. The smuggling is really compromising our capacity on our result,” he said. “Too much rice, too much fake fertilizer is still coming across the borders into this country in spite of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) we have with them they are not listening .“Maybe if the Federal Government takes one tough action, they will come and renegotiate the terms because good neighbourliness means reciprocity.“We can’t be allowing them to survive at our own expense and I believe that we will do something about it.” https://www.thecable.ng/thailand-blames-buhari-collapse-rice-mills |
smokedfish:When someone converts money meant for the whole state to his personal use it is not a small problem to me. |
smokedfish:Ask Adamawa indigenes how his boy, Boni, used Adamawa state money to build ABTI for him |
Originalsly:To me it seems they were arrested just because of their ethnicity. |
smokedfish:See what? I am from Adamawa, Atiku is a curse to Adamawa state. |
This would go a long in solving the problem between farmers and the cattle rearers. It is not about Fulani herdsmen herdsmen but the food security of the country. |
How lucky Fayose is to have this opportunity to shake President Buhari's hand. |
Chicksslayer:AAmnesty did not say Fulani herdsmen killed 168 people in 2015. Amnesty International talked about clashes between farmers and cattle rearers claiming the lives of Nigerians but our hate mongers are framing the headlines to blame only the Fulani herdsmen. |
Built2last:War situation is not ideal and I pray that the cycle of violence stops. However let me tell you and edge it on that your skull that we, the Fulani can never be an endangered specie. We have the number, the capacity and the attitude to deal with any group that harbours such agenda. I always laugh when people like the Bachama who are not more than 200 thousand and located only within 2 LGs in Adamawa state say that they will wipe out the Fulani. |
Anyone who wants to know why the violence in Benue is not likely to abade should go and have a look at that Benue state anti-grazing law and the 9 Tiv men arrested with guns supplied by the state government. |
Buhari's government is a disaster to the Fulanis. The Fulanis have been attacked by genocidal ethnic militias and he did nothing because he does not want to be seen to be supporting his kinsmen. Over one thousand Fulanis were killed on the Mambila plateau yet he did not offer the Fulanis even words of condolence. The story is the same in Adamawa where Bachama ethnic militia killed over fifty Fulani women and children and Benue state where the governor enacted a law specifically targeting the Fulani and trained and armed over the 1000 militias to kill the Fulani. I really miss Obasanjo because he wouldn't have allowed violence of such scale to be unleashed on innocent people without proper response. |
Wait and see how most people would come and make bigoted comments. |
Now that are caught he is denying the them despite the fact that he employed them and gave them operational vehicles. The arrest revealed to objective minds desirous of peace that the Tivs are not as innocent as they want the world to believe. |
Pure fiction called research. |
fergie001:What I am against is the one sided narrative which always portrays the Fulanis as the only aggressors and the others are justified to kill them them. The government has to take responsibility for the cycle of violence. |
