Family / Re: God Saved Me From Thunder This Morning by GarbaAudu: 1:43pm On Jun 28, 2020
This is very serious. Any of your neighbors living in duplex house? If there are tall buildings or duplexes around you, please encourage the landlords to install lightening arrester on their roof top. It is very very important, it saves lives. It saves you from domestic accidents, particularly if you have poor electrical connection systems. It saves the community from unexplained deaths.
This Copper device (lightening arrestor) helps in attracting and evacuating any thunder within the vicinity. The high electric voltage associated with thunder will be dissipated deep under the earth.

Politics / Re: Flooding Imminent As Rivers Niger, Benue Rise by GarbaAudu: 7:02am On Sep 17, 2019
Debroslink:
This government will never say the truth. It's not only Rivers Niger and Benue, but all major rivers that have dams. Here in the West, the Ogun River has risen beyond normal level and has affected some parts of Lagos including areas like Magodo, Kara, Owode, Alapere, Ajegunle along Ikorodu road.

They open these dams recklessly and everywhere becomes flooded, but they'll rather shift the blame on rain.

Government of lies and half truths.

Travel / Re: Coldest States In Nigeria by GarbaAudu: 12:50am On Aug 23, 2019
I think there are only two real cold regions in Nigeria (all year round).
1. Mambilla Plateau, Total area= 9,400 km2, average elevation = 1,600 meters
2. Jos Plateau, Total area= 8,600 km2, average elevation = 1,300 meters
Sankwala Plateau would have made the list (elevation is also 1,600 meters) but the large chunk of the area is in Cameroon, only small part in Nigeria (little above 100 km2). It covers Obudu ranch (Cross River State) and Kwande Highland (Benue State)
All other regions of Nigeria have only seasonal cold, during rainfall period and harmattan. For example, the axis between Zaria (Kaduna State) and Funtua (Katsina State) can have a drop in temperature to as low as 10 Celsius in January, but the same axis will have a temperature of 35 Celsius around April-May.
For the record, the coldest town in Nigeria is Nguroje, Mambilla Plateau (Taraba State). It has an elevation of over 1,800 meters!

Subhanallah! Did anyone noticed there's just one single dot in Libyan territory. (ie if you know Libyan map and location). This is to reveal to you that no single international flight is crossing over Libyan airspace. That's a sign of a failed state. A country with multiple warlords.

The toll gate should be completely removed. You don't construct a toll gate in a residential area. It never happens anywhere in the world.

Family / Re: Snake In My Roof by GarbaAudu: 11:58am On May 15, 2019
xavuv:

I have seen snake skin inside the sailing in 2017. Very long skin. I guess the snake been living inside the top block holes before the house was roofed. It never want to leave.
If you have seen the long skin shade, then it's most likely a black cobra. It has a strong survival skill and can adapt to any unhealthy environment, holes, dark spaces etc. If you are sure you don't have rats/rodents in the house then the serpent is feeding on wall geckoes. That explains why it survived this long. If you are really convinced that you have a snake up there, then your best option is to call the service of Hausa snake charmers. Any other options will be dangerous as the snake will be threatened by the invasion of its territory. It can fight to death. If you are in the north, snake charmers are everywhere. If you are in Lagos, you can get them in IdiAraba, Obalende, Mile12, or even Agege. For a fee of N10, 000 they can safely remove any poisonous reptile from your house.

Which Enugu again? PDP won by 301130 which is only about one third of what APC gave PDP in katsina
If he truly garnered 301,130 votes to win Enugu State then his performance in Katsina is outstanding, despite scoring below 25%.

But I dough my hat for Atiku. To chunk 300,000 votes from a very conservative state like Katsina? He earned my respect.
