After Using my Extra time kobo to tow the car to my location, which wasn't a joking matter at all, I was referred to an expert (really never judge a book by its cover) the man looked at the car guess he removed the radiator cap to check whether the radiator water will gush out which is one symptom to know your gasket is gone after extreme over heating.
The car still didn't roll or crank so he said we should push it, it was then I lost hope in this man but I was happy I won't be pushing but rather driving. After two tries, the man asked his companion to replace me, that's how we pushed first, second time and the car just started like nothing happened to it.
Well his unbiased opinion was the engine is still solid and I shouldn't make the mistake of selling the car.
The kick starter was marked as the culprit and they said to check the battery but I doubt if it was the battery.

Pls I need help urgently from a professional.
I am experiencing frequent engine oil shortage and my radiator coolant goes down every day, in fact I have top it up daily before driving while I top the oil twice weekly.
The engine doesn't smoke while driving but I recently noticed it smoking (dark smoke) when I Rev it and it try to Jerk and stutter when I am on speed or idle run.
When I took it to the mechanic we discovered one of the injector nozzle wasn't working he tried to swab it and found out that the nozzle that wasn't working worked in another position so he checked the plug and discovered that the plugs were soaked with carbon we changed the 4 plugs and the engine ran normal but one week later the new plugs were completely covered with carbon again thus causing the same problem of engine Jerking and misfiring.
The mechanic told me that the Rings are gone and I need to re-ring the engine but I am skeptical about ringing it as I am not sure how long it will last me before smoking again.
I am considering buying a tokumbo/belgium engine but the fund is not readily available.
Please advice me on the best option to go.

Radiator cells too weak to withstand long traffic heat or too weak to withstand d use of AC of your car. You need a new double cell radiator replacement asap. I'm not a mech but talking from a personal experience.

I was driving and suddenly the temperature picked up so I started looking for where to park but you know as Lagos traffic be, before I could get where to park I just heard a sound and water started rushing out of the radiator. Now I don't know what to do

dear friends,
i recently purchased a 2000 landcruiser from a friend and soon after i noticed that when im in traffic for about 10 minutes the abs and vsc and traction control lights come on with an alarm. this lasts for about 20 seconds and stop when the traffic moves.
if the traffic is really bad then the alarm and light become permanent and the brake pedal becomes stiff and the brakes dont respond again. until i get a mechanic to bleed the brakes or disconnect and reconnect the abs from the battery.
i also noticed that when driving normaly there is a hiss like air escaping when i step on the brakes.
i have done some research on the net and i discovered that it is a common problem with the 00-04 landcruiser, 03/04 4runner limited, tundra,sequoia and some lexus lx470 and gx470 as they share the same brake system.
i have consulted some good mechanics who have concluded that the abs is bad and some advised me to change it to the older and simpler landcruiser brake system which uses a salvo instead of the abs brake pump.
changing the abs is very expensive (abt 350k) and will not guarantee a permanent solution.
please has anyone experienced this and if so how did you sort it out.
i want to change the brake system only as a last resort.

ikenna,Siena and co. should please help me..it over two weeks that I had been looking for this pedal to buy..have search the whole Ladipo and owode and no one have the pedal forsale .I will appreciate if anyone can help me out on this or any alternative .my mechanic said he doesn't know any other method he can do about it..I will be very glad if u can help me out on this. thank u all.below is the pic of what I'm looking for. I'm able to get clutch cable of it at Ladipo remain the clutch pedal. the car is Chevrolet spark. thanks

A 2011 should be a drive by wire. There should be a sensor attcahed to that kick down pedal if truly this is a 2011. I smell somefin fishy here

Yes, am aware. Infact we had this same problem before which i treated hear. That time the connector was missing but now it was disconnected and one of its wires is missing.

I noticed for a week now that my 2004 lexus rx330 AWD, is sometimes sluggish when i want to accelerate. Kind of like a delay before picking. Yesterday after driving for awhile and noticing it, i parked and revved the engine with the gear in neutral. i noticed that when the engine came down to 800rpm from 3000rpm, it shudders but no check engine light comes on. i repeated the procedure and the same thing happen this morning after driving to work.

I scanned the car but go no codes, however in the pending code section it showed (i think P0442 or something) evaporation emission leak (small leak) as the only pending code.

I rechecked my gas tank cap to ensure it was closed properly. but the rough idling does not manifest when i start the car in the morning just when i raise the rev with the gear in neutral.

I am yet to change the plugs since i got the car from the US, though i have changed the engine oil, trans-axle oil (both front and rear) and tranny oil. (Using the recommended specification in the owners manual for the three oils Toyota 5W30, Toyota type IV gear oil AND hypoid oil 90w or something cant recall)

Also ever since i got the car, it sometimes jerks, like if am coasting down the road and i accelerate it jerks once when the gear engages. That is the only period i notice that jerk. if you are accelerating you then coast and on resumption of your accelerating it jerks when the gear engages. aside from that the gear changes are seamless and efficient. does your exhibit this behavior? it was this that prompted me to change the gear and trans-axle oil.

For my current issue, will a plug change and oil service do the trick? and can i get OEM iriduim spark plugs? if not what other brand do you recommend?
