Hello Ikenna,
I have a 307 and its been having an issue. In the morning when you release the clutch for it to move, it drops fire so you need to rev a little for it to move,it drags its movement for like 3 to 4 mins after which it becomes perfect. But while in motion each time you increase the rev it drops before it picks/accelerate. Lately when the A/C is on after like 45mins it begins to stall but it wont trip off. Just that you cant rev it. When you try to rev it seems like there is blockage or suffocation. Once I turn off the A/C and allow it drag itself, it gets back to normal firing after like 10 mins. I complained to my mechanic @ Ladipo, he said its fuel pump. I changed the fuel pump but the issue is still on. Some said its catlytic converter, some said nozzles, some said air mass another said its to buy complete fuel casing and pump. I am so confused because its not showing any check light or fault on the dash board. Please can you advice me on what to do cos it seems alot of guess work is being done so am just managing like dat till I have a competent hand. Apart from that....its a sweet ride.

A scan with pp2000 will direct you in the right path.

Follow this steps and your car will be ok 101per.


Remove left side fender(drivers side)

Remove the plastuc sheild under the fender

There's a large harness that runs from the inside of the vehicles cabin to the large fusebox on the left. Dissconnect the harness from the fuse box

Now remove the sheild on the harness so you can see the wires inside the harness

You will notice some are cut while some are bridged. Put them in order (they are colour coded it should be easy)

Get a stable mechanic. Unless you are the one that did not tighten the nuts on your wheel properly?

Its a 2001 accord, you don't scan body codes on that car. But if he wants to scan for fun why not.

This is a classic kazeem damage.

nissparts:
No prone faults.
Avoid using dashboard cleaner on the dash.
Parts are available but pricy (especially body parts)

The suspension is stiff so driving on roads that are not smooth may be slightly uncomfortable

P2631 Honda Front Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1 Circuit High Voltage

P0155 - 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

P0135 (heater circuit malfunction) primary o2.


You will need to replace the 02 sensor to resolve the issue.

Sensor is located on B2S1 in front of the radiator.

If I remember well it has 5wires.

There's really no comment that will be a direct solution. Please look for a qualified vehicle technician to look into your car problems.

Thread was derailed hence the confusion.

Every engine can be fixed, what matters is the cost implication(parts/labour) vs the price of a tokumbor engine.

Go for an engine assessment from the initial number I gave you.

NB:Kazeem already removed thermostat and fan wire connected directly. cant seem to unconvince the person to refix it

P0128 - Coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature

P0420 Toyota Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1.

P0511 Toyota - Idle Control System Malfunction


Fans are direct, thermostat is removed.

Exhaust is either leaking or catalyst is bad.

Idle speed is erratic.

How do you deal with the vibration when in spin mode?

Mine does not vibrate violently, so far its been very stable. I avoid using spin over 800. Mean while hope you removed your shipping bolts behind ur machine before first use? It could cause nasty vibration infact Wmachine could stroll to the next building

You didn't mention if you had any problems with the engine? Clear the code and rescan after 100km. Worst case senario replace all six spark plugs with original oem.

I drive a 2005 EOD hybrid. I just changed my ball joint due to the advice I got here about stiff n noisy steering. pls I need another advice; wen ever I change my gear I hear noise and the the drive indicator n the dash board blinks continuously. what is wrong?

secondly, I just changed my compressor and when on slow speed, one side of the ac in the car cools better than the other but when on high speed both works well.any advice please....

Car needs to be scanned.your compressor might be leeaking, cause its low on charge.

If you own a 2001 to 2003 Toyota RAV4 and you are having problems with the automatic transmission with symptoms including harsh shifting, loss of power when launching from one gear to the other or hard engagement when it is put in reverse, then you should know that those problems are very common with this spec of cars and are caused by a defect in the engine computer, which controls the transmission.

The problem is usually occasional, occurring intermittently depending on the severity of the particular case. It might also occur when the vehicle is warm or after it has been driven for some time.


The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is responsible for sending signals to the shifting solenoids in the transmission allowing it shift at the right time.

However, with wear and tear, the original ECU has been known to fail and has been recommended by the manufacturer for an upgrade. The defects in the ECU affect the proper functioning of the shifting solenoids, activating and deactivating them erratically.

This must be given urgent attention as it can cause major damage to the transmission unit. The ECU needs to be upgraded whether the problem has manifested as a transmission problem or not.

If your RAV4 is having any of the problems highlighted above, please stop driving it and call us to help you arrange the proper repair solution.
