Hello gurus in d house I had issues with my car door handle n I decided to replace it so I went to a panel beaters shop as we were just chatting he told me d sound of my engine shows DAT my catalyst has been remove so we checked only to see were it was welded as a result of d removal from d exhaust pipe and he said I shud get it replaced DAT it will help in d calmness of d engine sound and also give good fuel economy pls I tot doing DAT but want to know from d house if its OK and pls wots d advantage of d presence of it in the exhaust or in the car rather pls i don't want to waste my money just like DAT thanks for Ur response car modern is 1999 Camry tiny light

You will have to buy half an exhaust. Front to center.

Hello house i did a scan on my Honda Accord 2005 v6 model , and this is the outcome of the scan !!!

P0741, P0135, P0155, P2628, P2631, PO325.

Please explain this in a lame man term , and how i can resolve this issues .

I have noticed the following with the car before i decided to scan it .

1 . The car hesitates sometimes after i slow down and want to take off again .

2 . The car jerked once while i was on speed .

3 . i can hear a sound when i move the gear from p to r and r to d.

4 . when i move the gear to r or d , it takes few seconds for it to engage .

P0741 Honda - Torque Converter Clutch Hydraulic Circuit Stuck.

Possible causes
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve
- Torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness or connectors
- Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted
- Transmission internal mechanical problem

P0135

O2 sensor issues bank1 sensor 1. Since its a v6 is by the firewall upstream.

Check harness and connections if ok replace sensor.

P0155. Bank2 sensor1 O2 sensor sensor (radiator side)

P2628 rear Af sensor bank 1 sensor 1


P2631 af sensor bank 2 sensor 1


PO325. Knock sensor.


Summary

1 serious problem with gearbox

2 faulty oxygensenors (or harness issues)

2 engine knock sensor or faulty harness

You might want to consider replacing gearbox.

Most people are scared of american vehicles. The crv has beter fuel economy and better re-sale value.

1) Nobody saw him trekking along all other states other than Lagos, Ekiti and Niger states.
2) His phone battery never went dead all along, how did he charge his phone battery?

6) It's simply not possible to cover that distance in 19 days except you trekk non-stop which no human can do.

He could have covered 100kms a day (ojodu-ajah) its very possible.

Turn on the headlamps, press the horn does the horn sound normal? Are the lights sharp? If no check batt contacts, if contacts ok get another battery and a jump cable and start your vehicle.

If it works you might possibly need a new battery

Its a 2006 accord not a 1991 accord, just run a scan and it will identify the culprit.

Details of engine type. Location of vehicle.

First start with the cause , engine was burning oil, once oil is completely burnt it will not libricate the moving parts, there will be increased friction and heat, extensive wear and tear and engine will freeze(effect) since engine was already burning oil its best to replace engine.
