Felt a kind of vibration while approaching 40-60km.... There's this feeling of the car dragging too.... Not jerking please

Please fellow nairalanders and car experts my Toyota Camry 2005/6 (Big Daddy) model with no prior signs developed Gear Selection issue, after I had travelled for over two hours yesterday. Although I managed to arrive at my destination after a mechanic who assisted me advised that I changed the oil, only after I allow the engine rest for the night. So I checked the factory engine prescription and bought Type IV tramission fluid against the advise of the mechanic who wanted to get a cheaper oil.

The mechanic came back this morning to change the oil. Initially the car moved freely. But immediately I entered a major road the gear selection problem started again,
now. It wuld enter gear, but once d ride push forward for about 15 secs it wuld fail again. I would av to wait for it to rest again, den it picks when I start, again and again. Right now its like I have wait longer. The mechanic said I shouldn't bother to try to repair the gear I should just get a new one.

Although I've called another mechanic to check it. Na the matter I dey this morning. I really need your advice

I plan to replace the speed sensor but I wanted to sort out the P0051 and VSC off first as I felt it's more critical (I might be wrong).

The car stop selecting gear, I change the oil as recommended on the engine. Yet, the problem worsened.

Buyers should be weary of vehicle adverts without VIN or mileage, These vehicles could be STOLEN . Otherwise why will a cardealer hide these information?

I have the CEL and VSC off lights on in a 2008 toyota highlander, I scanned it and got a P0051 [Oxygen (A/F) Sensor Heater Control Circuit low ( Bank 2 Sensor 1)] and P0793 Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor 'A' Circuit No Signal.
The VSC off comes with the P0051 but when I read the sensor in question for continuity on the black cables there was continuity (which online information says indicates the sensor is okay), when I check the source for supply, power is supplied to the sensor. That is confusing for me, I will appreciate your inputs on this. Thanks.

Please my vehicle threw a P0030 code and my kazeem insisted the Bank 1 02 sensor was dead.

After trying 2 other sensors ,it was still throwing the same code.

So I returned my original sensor.

I tried to take a live reading of the 2 sensors with my Bluetooth OBDII scanner and the attached picture is what I get when I rev the engine.

I'm confused as to how the sensor wil be bad but giving this reading.

Please what do you think could be going on?

My oga dem PL help me out only wen there is serious hot sun dis my car temperature rise above middle, dat is wen car is accelerate with AC on but wen stopped temperature gradually returns back to normal.

I bought a Honda Accord 2004 just last month and serviced with Total quartz 5000 (20w50) exactly what the previous owner uses.


The recommended oil is 5w20 as inscribed on the cap.

Question: is it possible I ask my Kazeem to uncouple the engine, drain/flush the engine with whatsoever substance, recouple and then fill with the recommended engine oil please?

He's also not sure of the brand of transmission oil used as at last fill, what do I do if I need refill?

Good morning boss trust you’re good , please a friend recently got a Honda Civic 2007 foreign used we where going out yesterday and noticed the temperature going up we Weren’t using ac so we drove into a petrol station and then noticed that the fan wasn’t working but when we put on the ac the fans came on immediately and after working it goes off and comes on again normally and the temperature reduced to normal the issue now is that the fans does not come up without oning the ac no matter how hot the engine the fan just wont pick to the extent that temperature starts going up but once the ac comes on the fan picks works and goes off picks again works and goes off normally as it’s supposed to be and the temperature remains normal , please what could be the culprit , could it be faulty temostart or what sir kindly help

Update:
In my quest to get a tokunbo PCM that will match the highlander I got one from a seller in Abuja.
When he brought it, I noticed that the part number didn't match.
I told him of my observation and he said it will work.

We plugged in the PCM and started the car...
Boom the rpm went up to red as I floored the gas pedal
I was thanking my stars and took the vehicle for a test drive.
I noticed that shifting from 3rd to 4th gear was not smooth.
I told the seller that I can't accept the ECU!...I was disappointed
He brought more ECUs with the same part number as the one we already tested in the vehicle...the story remained the same....shifting problem and CEL will disappear and come back later.
Also, I tried to scan the vehicle with my OBDII scanner but it won't communicate with d vehicle when the new PCM is connected to the vehicle.

Long story short...We are still in the market for PCM
