the engine to my 2005 Accord v6 just parked up and i intend to change it soon. I also intend to use the manufacturer's recommended oil grade (5W30) as against my usual 20W50. On second thought I am thinking an engine manufactured in 2005 would definitely have done high mileage so I want to up for [/b]Total quartz 9000 5W40 full synthetic.[b].
Is it a good alternative?
Generally, how reliable is the quartz 9000?

Good day please I am having problem with my 2011 Corolla when ever I put on the ac the temperature goes up above normal even at night and I went to my mechanic, he told me the thermostat is bad that I should remove it that's the only solution which I have read a lot about thermostat is there any where I can get a new one please or should I just do away with it before over heating spoils my engine thanks

My Camry has this drama it does sometimes. Lets say I drive with AC, music or lights for long, once I park the car somewhere and turn it off, coming back to it a few minutes later, it wont start.

Unless u bring another battery. I bought an extra battery thinking it was battery ish yet it didnt work.

Someone said I should change alternator as my battery isnt charging. It happened again today. Both batteries couldnt start the car. I borrowed from another driver and it didnt start still until we waited a while.

Meanwhile my own batteries started his own car. What could cause this?

Hi guys.
Anybody on here uses or knows someone who uses the 2013/2014 Hyundai Elantra on Uber or Taxify.
Is it a sensible decision to put a car like that on the platform ?
I know the fuel consumption rate is about that of the popular Corolla if not better. But apart from that, do you think the car can survive the Taxify / Uber driving stress ?

I've been having this issue with my Toyota Camry 2009 2AZ-FE for a while now.
Driving without using AC feels smooth but once I switch on the AC and at a stop, car vibrates if I change gear to neutral or park vibration reduces if I switch the gear back to drive, vibration continues.

Help needed here please.
I'm tired of this issue.

Hello house! Need help with a reliable rewire technician . Reason: I called in an air con. repair man to help fill gas in my car ac (Honda cr-v 2004). He had issues initially because my compressor could not 'pick', so he had to by-pass the compressor power source by connecting a wire directly from my car battery and the compressor picked, which enabled him to fill the refrigerant. However, he said for me to be able to use the ac I need to look for a rewire tech person to help trace why my compressor isn't receiving power because according to him there are some loose wires that need connecting. Thanks in advance.
