Approximately how long would you estimate it would take for a vehicle from auction to arrive Nigeria from the US?

A general estimate, never mind about the US state the vehicle is located in.

Check if the RPM needle is flickering upon starting to confirm if it is fuel or ignition issue.
I doubt if it is the battery cos op confirm that another one has been used to check it but to no avail

Gazzuzz, my war horse � and travel companion( Peugeot 406 D8) just learnt bad habit; loss of power, especially after idling on a hilly area and a humming sound from the engine bay at gear 4.

It throws up engine checklight at will and it seems it happens when the fuel is low.

All attempts to scan the car no work.

To answer your question.
To start with, I have close to 20years experience in the auto business ranging from transportation, haulage, importation of cars, engines and parts. Though we have stopped importation of engines and parts for now.

I am based in Lagos and I am into transportation. Hence, I frequent Ladipo and other markets for parts.
I have sourced for parts for some of my friends in other states and waybilled it to them. I have been a member of this for couple years and I very much have respect for GAZZUZ, Egunmogaji, Ikenna, Nurey, and the rest I can't remember now.

Since I have been sending parts to friends outside Lagos. I have a feeling there would be others outside Lagos that may need parts and needs a trusted hand to help them source it and send to them. This is just to help them get parts they would otherwise may not find in their locations.

The intention is to help our brothers and sisters who reside outside Lagos get the required parts needed for their cars. Because I believe some of them find it difficult to get parts for their cars in their location and I believe I can be of help in that regard.

At home today and decided to go home. Start the car which i drove to work and alas, car didnt start. Gave a cracking sound only but dashboard light came up. However, got a battery to troubleshoot bu same thing. Am kinda puzzled about this. Do anyone have any idea pls. Am in Lekki

my car cranks many times before starting, I have changed the complete fuel assembly. from probing, I discovered that those times when it cranks without starting, fuel is not supplied to the engine. As if the fuel pump works intermittently. I have tried to scan the car but scanner wasn't communicating with the car........ the only thing is that when it starts, it can work till evening but once I switch off the ignition, to start is a real wahala.
Oga Gazzuzz pls save me from this mess.

I have a fuel consumption issue with my 1998 Toyota Camry XLE V6 car. I've changed Air flow meter, changed brain box twice ( first was due to the car not starting, no shock and more.. Second was due to excessive black smoke coming out from the exhaust pipe) I changed the engine completely after the first brainbox experience and engine knock issues. Bought a tokunbo Japan Engine last year. After changing the engine and getting the second brainbox, the black smoke experience was gone, exhaust looks clean and dry, yet the consumption is crazy. A 13ltrs 2,000 naira fuel can only run for 40km in my car. There's no Check Engine Indicator ON on my dashboard. Please what else can I do? What can be the cause? How can I fix this issue of consumption? What needs to be changed/fixed?. I'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

Still on the Scan result, you are not causing any confusion please, just need to know likely things to check out for as dont often like the engine to be touch please and will take ur advise or changing to Mobil 1 henceforth

Gazzuzz, this problem that often make some cars gears to cease coming out from park, often resulting in using a nail or stick or key to insert in a hole before pushing out the gear from park, what causes that and is it an electrical or mechanical fault

Remove battery terminal, come back in 5days, car should be Dry fine by then

I doubt this ,it is the scan too that was used ,most early model Nissan/Infinity cannot work with Generic scan/Obd2 tool except OEM
Look for a more professional scan tool

But I would prefer to start by fixing the wiring between the ECU and the DLC.

Then do further tests before arriving at that conclusion.

You can't connect so ECU is bad?

Hi Gazzuz, great job you doing here God bless. Have got an issue today with my toyota sienna 2008 model. Just did a wash of the car internals, chairs and rug the car wash used this pressure machine to wash the car underneath etc. Engine wasn't opened at all.
While returning home. I realised the green light on drive was off, AC stopped working, the auto sliding door and boots didn't operate and srs light was displayed. Car still drive normally.
My electrician have traced all traceable but we couldn't detect where the fault is coming from.

Any input from you will be very much appreciated. I intend taking it for a scan tomorrow though
