Politics / Re: Protect Yourselves From Bandits - Governor Matawalle Tells Zamfara Residents by gbagyiza: 4:27pm On Jun 11, 2021
Nigerian politicians are wicked. How can you tell a common man that is looking for means to feed his family to defend himself without providing him with the necessary weapons. But they prefer to steal billions than using the funds to secure their people.

180m? I don't see bandits quitting their kidnapping business anytime soon.

This I have seen.

They will never quit because they have found a fertile ground to do their business in Nigeria. The only solution is to kill them all but I don't see our government doing that. We r in a serious trouble.

how many is the dozen or scores? just two o sometimes 5. thank God today it's ten. hundreds next week fit be just 15terrorist cheesy

Sincerely from my heart I appreciate the effort of our troops fighting insurgency n other security threats but why r we always giving the enemies space to always get prepared n attack? We are suppose to take the heat to them not the other way round. It seems the pressure is on our troops not the terrorists.

How can somebody be asking you to bring your CV for interview?
Did they lose the one you sent them when you applied for the job?
This is pure GNLD .
These guys are extremely desperate to get your N15,000 or N20,000 and tie you into their bulshit pyramid, so they can climb up.

Is not about coming with a CV because some organization will ask you to come with it probably you have updated the CV before inviting u for the interview. My concern is the description of the location of the interview which made the whole thing suspicious From my experience with job interview invite, no serious organization will describe the location like that for you.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How To Dress When Going For A Job Interview by gbagyiza: 6:18pm On May 26, 2021
Cvclue11:
The recruiting process requires you to dress professionally for an interview. Even though you don't have to wear a suit all of the time, you should always look your best.

We advocate wearing one level up from what you would wear to work every day. If you're going to be dressed casually, we recommend wearing a suit to the interview.

If you'll be wearing jeans to work every day, an interview should be dressed in a button-down shirt and khakis (for males) or formal trousers and a good top (for women).

However, we always recommend that you overdress for an interview rather than underdress. When you look your best, you tend to feel your best!

Here are some pointers on how to dress for an interview:.

It's typically preferable to be conservative. Make sure your hairstyle and color are both traditional and fashionable.

Perfume and powerful body washes/sprays should be avoided.

Wearing clothes that is overly tight, reveals cleavage, or is too short is not a good idea.

Lace, transparent fabrics, and animal patterns should also be avoided. If you decide to wear a skirt to your interview, make sure it is just above the knee and that you are wearing pantyhose.

Avoid wearing stilettos or open-toed shoes. You should feel at ease strolling about in the shoes you select, and they should be well-kept.

You should avoid using colors that are too bright or fashionable. Suits in black, gray, or blue should be worn. It's ok to add a splash of color to your blouse, but it shouldn't detract from your overall look.

Nail polish should not be used and your fingernails should be well-shaped (clear is acceptable).

Carry a modest, professional handbag or attache case.

For men:
Keep your hair and facial hair clean and clipped.

Use no cologne or aftershave with a strong scent.

If you're wearing a suit, go with gray, black, or navy and a corresponding shirt and tie.

Take everything out of your pockets.

Put on a good belt and shoes to go with it.

Carry a portfolio or briefcase made of leather.

Keep your nails neat and short.

Dress socks and polished dress shoes are required.

Tips for male and female:

Smile!

Show good hygiene by showering and brushing your teeth as soon as feasible before the interview.

Do not eat gum or sweets, and avoid smelling like a cigarette.

Make sure your clothes are wrinkle-free, tear-free, and stain-free.

Consider how tattoos and piercings will be received in your field. All tattoos should be covered, and any piercings that aren't in the ears should be removed.

If you need to buy new attire or borrow items from a friend or family member, try on your outfit several days before the interview.

I have attended several interviews n I will say dressing does not guarantee you the job but your attitude/experience matter the most. It is advisable to look good but not as you portrayed in your write up. It is a waste of money to wear expensive dress for an interview with an empty brain. Who do you want to impress? Infact, many organization r switching into virtual interview to tell you that dressing dont count much.

NYSC / Re: NYSC Program May Be Scrapped As Discontinuation Bill Gets 2nd Reading by gbagyiza: 7:59pm On May 24, 2021
MeghaneMorgane:
I don’t think it's a good idea if NYSC is scrapped. It could be optional but not scrapped. A lot of youths use that period to plan their lives and the 30k paid by the government solves the needs of millions of people at least for the full one year

You don't understand, it is the 30k they want to save. Government is badly in need of funds, as it stands they can sell human being because of money. Nigeria is gone.

HONESTFACT101:
Nice one from the government with this new move the bandits are likely one school short of schools to Targetundecided......signing out

You need to understand that if the bandits can strike a military camp, chase away the soldiers n take over the camp, then there is no place or location of a school that they can't attack. I am not against them relocating the school but I will prefer them to recall retired security men that r still agile, recruit new ones/train them n acquire more sophisticated weapons to engage these bandits in their hideout n this will be the best solution for me. Take the fight to the bandits in their locations. Relocating the school only exposed the government weakness in tackling the issue.
Family / Re: My Husband Slapped Me For Asking Him To Wash Plates by gbagyiza: 3:10pm On May 21, 2021
Madam take my advice, apologies to him n persuade him to come home. You suppose to study n understand the kind of man you have all these years before asking him to help u wash the plates. Some men are not comfortable with that while some will gladly do it. Every man has what he can tolerate n what he can't. Your actions showed u don't understand your husband even after staying with him for sometime. Marraige works when there is mutual understanding between a wife n her husband. Don't copy what works for other women n apply it to your husband because it may not work for you.

Anybody expecting the current Nigerian security personnels to crush insecurity, is a joker. All I see in this video is just propaganda as usual. Where is the gun battle n rescue that was mentioned in the write up? The security personnel were far away from the bandits, hiding n waiting for the kidnapped victims, as they were released one after the other by their abductors.

I would advise that you give her a wide berth afterwards. She doesn't want good things for you. Does she expect that you should be thrown out and become homeless?

You see why ladies r scaring men from getting married. If the man paid the house rent with his money n at the same time make his family comfortable, I don't see the reason the woman should disturb herself. I believe if it were the wife's sister the husband is paying rent for, the wife will not complain n moreover, the husband told her he is not the one paying, can't she believe her husband? Most young men see marriage today as a trap due to this kind of occurrence.

When bandits kill people in Katsina, it's just another bandits attack.

When the same bandits kill people in Benue or southern Kaduna, it's Buhari sending them to go and kill people just to occupy their lands.

PDP Dundees and some Christian hypocrites should stop bringing their useless inferiority complex into these security issues.

Southwest governors set up a security outfit that has been doing a great job, what is stopping the useless governor Ortom from doing something similar? Every time they give him a microphone, he will be shouting: Buhari, Fulani, Buhari, Fulani.

I AM DONE TALKING

Stop defending failure. Is it right for innocent people to be killed daily with no help from the government? Is it also a good thing for some governors to form their security outfits considering our constitution? When the president who has the authority to save lives n properties failed, anarchy will set in. Everybody in Nigeria is on his own, there is no control anymore, in no distance time if things continue this way, Nigeria will disappear like a vapour.
