9jacrip: To the ibos:Thank you. Why are they always obsessively and malevolently in the business of the SW? Do these people not have their own States, leaders and challenges to talk about or is it indoctrinations from their homes and communities, pushing them to always seek vengeance against the Yorubas, that is driving this sick behaviour to the extent they feel they must always be pugnaciously confrontational against the Yorubas? I really find their behaviour aberrant and I think it is ruining Nairaland. This twisted behaviour has gotten out of hand these days because no one is speaking against it. |
antartica: He is sounding outwardly bitter these days, like he ijegun or bluetooth. Not that i follow him,but he use to be a little moderate. This is not about yorubas, igbos, hausas or fulanies,it is about waywards and miscreant leaders that have plunged the future of the youths in a vicious circle of ignorance and backwardness..Sharap !! Who cares what you think and who I sound like? I don't owe you anything. Look around to note how many intelligent posters, the ones who made Nairaland interesting and educational, have left because of the insidious pattern of hateful behaviour against the SW that has crept into the conduct of some people here. Evil thrive when good men do nothing and that is why I speak and I really don't care what you and others think. Sensible posters know precisely what I am talking about that biased folks like you will never see. How is it normal for most post about the SW to now be started by those not from the region and for 90% responses to those posts to be negative contributions also from non-SW Nairalanders mainly from the SE? You Nigerians are simply incredible with how you tolerate what amounts to open hatred that should be shut-down. It is highly abnormal, anywhere on earth, in case you are not exposed enough to know so, for a group of people to be entirely obsessed with talking about others negatively 24/7. When that is the case, then the issue is plainly about the bigoted hatred of others because secure and happy folks have no time to obsess over others let alone do such negatively and 24/7 !!! . It Nigerians I know who make this disgusting behaviour appear normal. If Nairalanders from different ethnic group cannot talk graciously and positively about each other then let everyone mind their own business instead of ruining the forum for decent folks with their hateful conduct and malevolent obsession with others. Better to confront those 'sick' people and make them face what 'ails' them that they need to get out of their system than be here talking at me. Their behaviour is sick and I am speaking up against it even if many here are too cowardly to acknowledge Nairaland has a serious problem with hostility and hatred currently. |
customized07: the way you always talk about igbos.Arrant fool. Show where I talk about States and administrators I am not linked to. Silly mofo. Secure people are too busy enjoying their own lives and minding their own business to be bothered about what others are doing. Do you people not have your own States, leaders and challenges to talk about? Effing wannabes. Some of us come here to discuss what concerns us and we would be grateful if others are secure enough in themselves to do same. Not you lot. There is something dangerous and mentally unhealthy about how virtually all topics about the SW these days are started by folks who are not from SW States. 90% of discussants on these threads will be from outside the SW as well and contributions will be negative and malevolent mainly. You guys are not 'right' mentally . Better raise your children differently. Nairaland is now a very 'unhealthy' discussion forum because of the obsessive personality of clowns like the OP. |
I wonder how many of those who have commented here are from the SW let alone Osun State. This pest-like behaviour is really ruining Nairaland and I can see why many, many intelligent posters have left. How can anyone discuss productively in an environment that is now an arena of cretinism, rank idiocy and clannishness. All topics to do with the SW these day are started by these cretins and commented on by their ilk alone. They don't even have the home training and grace to know their place. Silly wannabe twits and envious mofos. A lot of intelligent South-Westerners now know the reason behind the obsessive behaviour of you clowns and this is why they have left even topics concerning their own States to you vagrants and hobos. They know they have affected your lives and thinking while you mean zilch to them. Go and discuss your own woes and stop disgracing yoursleves talking covetously about the business of others. What concerns you gbe borun, gbe fila and gbe gele folks with Aregbe and Osun? https://www.mediawebapps.com/upload/hat3.jpg |
smartchoice: Gbawe so you still exist...lolExist ke? This is not a matter of 'exist' alone. I dey kampe-licious. |
Clerverly: I wonder how she managed to sponsor herself to the public function! After they would tell us, the husband didn't "steal" Camerounian money. This is the two million dollar question my guy. You are so clever for working this one out. Kai, I envy you guys with the all-seeing 'third eye'. This is how these people think they can take us for mumu like that former head of State from Nigeria who refuses to explain how he is able to ride around in bullet-proof Jeeps when his mates around the world walk on foot everywhere and sleep under pedestrian crossings. |
seunmsg: Hey, are you a learner?Abi OOO. |
mascot87: You are a big first class fooolWhy? Are we not allowed our conspiracy theories however ludicrous? Is it only Jonathanians who should be allowed to postulate senseless theories? Abeg, allow my guy Cleverly ojare. @Cleverly. Bro, I heard the woman had even been taking acting lessons for three years now in preparation for this "stage-managed" kidnapping. Even two weeks ago at a public function she gave the illuminati salute yet so many missed it. GEJ till 3030 !!!!! |
Missy89: hey it is just a friendly argument don't take it seriously.Cool. ![]() We are all family sha. |
seanet02: Talking of Brain Ondo is nowhere near Ogun. Just forget it. There was a reason why the richest Yoruba man is from Ogun, the only Nobel laureate is from Ogun. Educationally Ogun will trounce Ondo, Economically we don't depend on oil and we are much capable of taking care of our responsibilities even if oil is sold for $0.02. Those who cannot survive with that price should raise up their hand. Ogun didn't just produce Nigerian President for 3 good times. We gat the brain politically, socially, educationally and diplomatically. Don't dare Ogun boys. Missy89: Laughable !Wow !!! Is it now toxic competition for superiority between Ondo and Ogun State to the extent of belittling each other's State of origin? Are they not States with indigenes largely sharing the same ancestry and ethnography? |
philips70:Bro, you are spot on 100%. What can be sweeter in life for corrupt and self-serving politicians than for those sort of enemies of progress to loot and misrule a nation as brazenly as they want yet be fully secure in the knowledge that those they lead are sentimental cretins and ethnocentric folks who will back them feverishly instead of holding them to account? Of course these leaders will never work for anything that changes the status quo to move most Nigerians towards becoming critical thinkers with independent, analytical and inquisitive minds. Even something as simple as a crooked government toying with the security of Nigerian lives, via looting $18 billion sunk into security over the past three years, totally flies above the head of these cretins. Incredibly, they don't even get the crux of the argument which is that a government that worsened the security of Nigeria and decimated our once proud army, when given $18 billion to improve things over 3 years, will achieve nada with a loan of $1 billion. Nigerians, as a matter of urgency, should be insisting the FG give account of how $18 billion disappear into thin air. No more |
philips70: This government gives a new meaning to the word 'ILLITERATE' in the Oxford English Dictionary. From Facebook to Twitter, nairaland and all over the net the GEJites continue to redefine this word and carry its meaning to new heights. And they display this illiteracy with brash arrogance. I suggest reasonable Nigerians go on sabbatical till 2019 and come back to fix the whole mess they would have created. Most reasonable posters have indeed 'gone on sabbatical' on Nairaland. This is why the m0r0nic rants of the illiterate Jonathanians resonate so loudly of late on this forum. |
authority2006: OBJ paid off our external debt, Jonathan keeps accumulating new debt. We have external reserve, we have excess crude account, we have sovereign wealth account. Yet, we want to go and borrow $1 billion at with interest. Nigerians include me made mistake the day we elected this man as our president. He keeps defending and encouraging corruption up and down, ordinary stealing. This is the crux of the matter. GEJ, to me, is by far the most fiscally reckless President Nigeria has had to date given the direct comparison of conditions today, to include the income of Nigeria, with what obtained under even the worst government of Abacha et al. The money is literally pouring in yet allocation to Nigerian States is now regularly short of what it should be, leaving governors struggling to cope, while we are seeking a $1 billion loan to fight insurgency when this sort of amount should be routinely catered for by our 'rainy day' savings which should be considerable currently given the amount Nigeria has been earning in a period where oil price has been relatively stable virtually the entire tenure of GEJ so far !!!! This desperate 'bowl in hand' plea for a $1 billion loan is proof Sanusi is correct when he said $20 billion 'disappeared' under GEJ. Billions of dollars has now become the equivalent of hundreds of dollars under our 'ten air plane' and 'billion naira food' President who appears to have no capacity at all for fiscal prudence or responsibility. Nigeria is seriously in trouble under this aimless government. |
OrlandoOwoh: Like Jonathan, like his supporters - bunch of illiterates. Who says Femi Gbajabiamila is a senator? Are you minding them? They are like rabid dogs with an uncontrollable instinct to bark senselessly and without thinking. I can say, without fear of contradiction, that Jonathanians are by far the least intelligent members of the politics sector of Nairaland. They add nothing to Nairaland or indeed Nigeria. From how they all talk ignorantly, in a feudalistic and unintelligent manner, it is amply clear that the fans of GEJ are clannish elements only interested in the blind defence of their misruling and destructively corrupt 'messiah'. These nauseating characters are not at all concerned about the far more important consideration of good governance and this would explain why they would be the only ones who would have a problem with what Gbajabiamila has said. Many of them are like cheerleaders just given lines and placards to read unquestioningly. They are indeed illiterates. Considering that "Birds of a Feather flock together", their m0r0nic support of GEJ is perfectly in order. |
berem: 3trillion Naira allocated to the defence in 3years? LORD HAVE MERCY!!My dear sister, is this not why some continue to insist that GEJ is literally getting away with murder because Nigeria has never been this divided along ethnic and religious lines. If not for how terribly divided Nigerians are today, along sectional lines, should every single Nigerian not angrily condemn this insanity whereby the GEJ Government has frittered 3 trillion ($18 billion) allocated for defence and security over 3 years only to be insensitively asking for another $1 billion when there is absolutely nothing to show for the massive amount devoted to fighting insecurity under Jonathan? This would spark a revolution in almost any other nation on earth !!! I.e $18 billion devoted to fighting terrorism and insecurity is looted callously by treasonous elements, while the nation becomes far more insecure and significantly greater number of Nigerians are being maimed and killed by terrorist, yet the Government has the nerve to ask for a $1billion loan !!! All this at a time we are supposed to have healthy 'rainy day' savings facilitated by how oil price per barrel has been significantly higher than budgeting benchmark for the entire time GEJ has been President!!!! Benchmark hovers around $75.00 per barrel yet oil has been above $100 for virtually most of the Presidency of GEJ. Give or take, Nigeria is gaining at least $20 per barrel above benchmark. Given the volume of oil Nigeria sells daily, one does not need to be a rocket scientist to know the sort of savings Nigeria should have put away which means it is insanity for GEJ to now be asking approval to borrow a mere $1 billion we will likely be paying interest on when we this sort of amount should be a small part of what Nigeria has put away in savings for emergency spending !!! This is why I have no doubt $20 billion indeed 'disappeared' as Sanusi revealed. I am in no doubt that GEJ is running Nigeria like a Ponzi scheme and that Nigeria is indeed broke with brazen deception being the only thing Okonjo-Iweala et al are using to fool the world that the situation is otherwise. The brazen looting GEJ is supervising truly marks him out as inhumanly corrupt. Jonathan , if Nigeria was not so divided currently, should head the queue of leaders to be impeached immediately so that, without any delay, our nation can be rescued from the huge crash she is heading toward at 200 miles per hour!!!! I personally cannot believe, given all we know, that GEJ has the nerve to ask for this loan and I cannot understand why lawmakers should even be considering the request when they should be probing far, far bigger past allocation which appears to now have been embezzled brazenly !!!! How much is the amount Nyako was alleged to have mismanaged, to warrant his 'gra gra' impeachment, in comparison to what was looted n fuel subsidy scam plus the $18 billion pumped into security and defence under GEJ? Is the callous looting of funds meant to keep Nigerians safe and secure not far more grievous and deserving of punishment than anything else? Crazy nation. |
Thank you OP. Nigeria could have been plunged into chaos if Buhari had been assassinated. This is why GEJ, who I believe had nothing to do with the attack on Buhari for obvious reasons, 'thanked God' for Buhari's life. Even the usually loquacious Dokubo-Asari was circumspect and surprisingly sensible in his conclusion. Yet come to Nairaland to see clannish, unbelievably childish and blindly hateful souls turning General Buhari into Jack Bauer acting another episode of '24'. The only thing such a ridiculous thread deserved, to show Nigerians are not m0r0ns, is condemnation and ridicule. yet too many are in blind support of the OP and his stance because they are all united in the senselessly clannish devotion to politicians and the mindless hatred of the 'enemies' of their political 'messiahs'. To that extent they just open their mouth to talk foolishly and start junk threads full of confused babble. A serious attack is being trivialised by those who are too far gone in toxic ethno-religious bias to see what matter. Until Nigeria descends into chaos before some realise that this is not the time to be supporting and/or hating any politician blindly. This is the time to demand that leaders all do the right thing for the sake of the peace and security of Nigeria. Some people talk as if it is insects, and not their own loved ones and even themselves, who may be maimed and/or killed if the worst happens. |
DTaj: This is the most odious post I have read in a loooong while! Is bomb comparable to fireworks/ 'banger’? Have you spoken to Kaduna residents who actually saw Buhari's three cars before and after the blast?Thank you !!!! Instead of these foolish and disappointingly sentimental Nigerian youths to make issues perpetually about good governance and their own socio-economic development they are carrying around hatred for the 'enemies' of their political 'messiahs' without realising that these people are all friend. The Fayose folks wanted to kill themselves over recently, especially the charlatans from non-SW States, is friends with many APC politicians and their children mingle in the UK tightly. They support each other and actually have their own politico-elite clique which does not discriminate in regards to what Party Daddy is with or what position he occupies as long as it keeps them all in Louboutin, cash, high society living and Mercs/Range Rovers/Audi TTs. As it is in the UK, is the way it is in Nigeria too. These young guys are 'flossing' together and laughing at the Nigerian children of the poor fighting each other to a standstill over their politician fathers who meet up to eat the finest food together and drink the best cognac. This is why wise and exposed Nigerians will concern themselves with good governance and those delivering it. The rest is bulsh1t and not worth developing high blood pressure over. The OP, as you surmise, is a grade A example of the hateful mumus and gullible losers who are too disconnected from the reality of Nigerian politics to appreciate that they are pawns of politicians. It is only his clannish support for GEJ, which translate into automatic hatred of all "enemies" of Jonathan, that stops him from thinking long enough to realise the sheer inanity of what he is saying and proposing. I am as flabbergasted as you are to see these over-sabi followers of GEJ suggesting Buhari "stage-managed" his own bomb attack whereas GEJ has thanked God for Buhari's life and even hard-liner Asari-Dokubo has conceded that some folks wanted to cause chaos for Nigeria via assassinating Buhari. If only the foolish and unexposed OP , along with others like him, can see how PDP, APC, APGA, Labour politicians , from all ethnic groups, mingle and support each other privately then he will simply throw himself in a lake. Most times, I focus on discussing politics from the perspective of Nigerians supporting those who will deliver good governance and/or rejecting those who will not. Ultimately, we should all love good governance and those who deliver it above clannish and ethnocentric followership. This is why, despite supporting APC passionately, I have always being supportive of the administrative efforts of Akpabio, Chime, Lamido, Mimiko and other non-APC politicians and 'good guys' claimed to be delivering for their people. For me, it is about good governance for Nigerians above everything else. Simple as that. Nigerian youths, the Nairaland example, are too disappointing. They have no minds of their own and are, in my opinion, probably the worst example of 'one way traffic' youths I have come across. They never ask questions or think logically. They only follow blindly. This is why the Nigerian youth today is not a solution-provider and this is why IBB deems them "not ready". They are the perfect tools in the hands of misruling Politicians who use them as disposable street-level cannon-fodders. Whereas youths in other parts of the world are independent-minded enough to always be influential in their own fate. Nigerian politicians find it easy to disregard the youths because the average Nigerian youth is not one anyone can respect easily or take seriously. This pathetic thread perfectly pays homage to the idiocy of the Nigerian youth. |
slimfit1: Really this man are you sick ? What are you drinking ?Abeg help me ask him OOO. Obanikoro who could not even run the Nigerian embassy in Ghana properly, i.e a glorified sedentary outpost, will now head one of the foremost emergent mega-city in the world today? Some people should fear God when they talk. The rest of Nigeria can do what they want and deploy sentiments and emotions when choosing their governor but Lagos is my State and Lagosians are not mumus. Only a visionary administrator and talented technocrat who knows precisely what he/she is doing and will improve upon the work of Fashola is required. We want a passionate and driven administrator, not a politician or AGIP like Obanikoro, leading Lagos. Does anyone think Fashola, as an example, will accept a bully-boy agbero role from GEJ as Obanikoro has done? Can anyone imagine Fashola , or many of the technocrats and administrators working under him, marshalling the army around Nigeria menacingly as Obanikoro is doing with glee? Obanikoro should carry on being errand boy to accidental leaders like GEJ. That is his level because no talent, administrative excellence or intelligence is required for what he is currently doing. |
Obiagelli: its very sad bro.Tragic. Yet I cannot blame them. They are products of their environment. |
Obiagelli: lol, Obanikoro the messiah. Nigerian youth are.......Jobless, hungry, pitiful and pathetic. |
SLIDEwaxie: I'm supporting change, and not a blind supporter. There is no one I won't stick orr embrace...it depends on ur approach...Bro, there is no need for the insult against Berem. You can disagree with her opinion without writing what you did. Your response was over the top abeg especially when, as you say, she is a cyber pal. I happen to disagree with Berem also. A man does not respect you or your position as his wife if he can impregnate the maid who is under your nose day in day out. What is he doing outside then? Also, women have to consider the scary eventuality of a man going around having unprotected sex and then bringing them a 'death sentence' disease. That alone is enough to give a man a red card. Yet I can accept that it is entirely up to the woman involved. Berem should not insist all women who have experienced this should stay and others should not insist every woman this happens to must leaves but we can all contribute our opinion and perspective. |
Onoru1:The truth 100%. They are indeed senseless adults. Very confused and brainwashed adult with the thinking faculty of something closer to Ape than man . |
byteem: EXPAND YOUR MYOPIC MIND AND LOOK BEYOND THE OBVIOUS MY FRIEND .. NOTHING IS AT IT SEEMSWhat a foolish utterance. Most times, things are precisely as they seem. Except of course one is dealing with fantasists and conspiracy theorists like you who will always reject what is obvious and logical to seek the most complicated and long-winded explanation as 'fitting'. |
prophetone: Buhari will live till he completes his second term in 2023. Look at how calm he remained in the midst of chaos. Sai ka yi dan daura.Buhari is a real leader. A man of conviction. Throughout the world, one thing common to Presidents and heads of state is that they are all willing to make the ultimate sacrifice of dying for their nation and people. These men and women are rare. They think differently to the rest of us and it must be so. They can face death so we live. They lead by example and non will be afraid, for example, to visit Chibok or any inch of Nigeria to show that the C-in-C and all the might he controls is in charge of the nation and not to be held to ransom by a bunch of illiterate opportunists and anarchy-loving killers, criminals and disgruntled elements who do not have the mandate of the people to lead let alone arrogate the power to take innocent lives unto themselves. Deserving leaders will do whatever preserves national integrity, progress and the survival of all their people. They will always bravely lead from the front in times when the ordinary man is scared and discouraged. All those qualities Buhari possesses. No nation deserves a totally unprepared accidental leader and scaredy cat, likely to discourage rather than uplift/strengthen the average men he leads, as President or Head of State in difficult time. That is the opposite of what a good leader is !!! It is the children of indoctrination and divisiveness who must look at themselves and ask why they hate Buhari senselessly yet they can align that thoughtless hatred of an exemplary man alongside their blind and clannish support for a very flawed, ultra-corrupt and misruling accidental President, to the extent of alienating all well-meaning Nigerians, when their 'messiah' GEJ has never shown even 5% of what all other world leaders have in common to warrant such a cult-like devotion. We can only conclude that ethno-religious hatred of others blind some from seeing what is obvious. Consequently, GEJ is the beneficiary of their mindless hatred of other Nigerian ethnic groups and religion different to their own. Throughout history, there have been leaders of conviction, vision, intelligence and purpose worthy of zealous followership. Indeed even taking Africa alone we can instantly mention Sankara, Nkrumah, Lumumba, Mandela et al. How does the ultra-corrupt, anti-people GEJ (eating 1 billion naira food per year and using ten air-planes and demanding more in poverty-ravaged Nigeria) compare to Sankara who sold the fleet of luxury vehicle in the Presidential fleet because of his belief that a leader, with the responsibility of always leading by example, cannot live in garish opulence while the people have nothing? Good men follow other good men and those who are not innately good by nature will have no problem following a bad person and blinding themselves to the many flaws and unjust behaviour of that 'messiah' they support unquestioningly. |
dexter1983: Please dont stress yourself educating a myopic pdp soul.his mind is alredy made up which is so unfortunate for some nigerian youths. You are absolutely right.Indeed. |
tunshe: The psyche of these young Nigerians has been eroded and ocean of sympathy that resides in humanity is running dry.Thank you. How preposterous is the notion Buhari and his aids are now all daredevil Nollywood actors willing to risk death just to boost the profile of the General? So Buhari will be in an SUV that suffered such damage all as part of some "stage-managed" drama? Like you said, some are simply too far gone in hatred to the extent they now do not even pause to note how 'brain damaged' they have become. |
kokoA: They don't have sense. Stop trying to educate them.Indeed. They deserve pity alone. If some Nigerians who are used to following leaders clannishly to the detriment of logical reasoning can come out and wickedly call Chibok kidnapping a scam to "embarrass Mr.President" (all because of their ethnocentric support for GEJ) why are we surprised the same set of indoctrinated n1twits are already using the words "stage-managed" for this attack on Buhari's convoy? Some Nigerians are simply too far gone in obdurate idiocy in the way they pledge allegiance to other flawed human beings you begin to realise they will be marched off a cliff like lemmings in the end. I really feel sorry for these deluded and gullible folks because they always get disappointed by charlatans pretending to be messiahs. The latest being GEJ. |

@OP Urban renewal, especially for a densely populated area such as Ajegunle, is very complicated to implement. Yet doing such is often the only way forward when large areas have become run down, unsafe and dilapidated - especially because of neglect and lack of investment over the course of decades as is the case with Nigeria. There is no reason for Ajegunle or anywhere else for that matter not to benefit from urban renewal in future but one good government succeeding another is key because every single problem cannot be attended to in the tenure of one administrator. We don't plan long term in Nigeria or Africa for that matter but the entire Lagos would be drastically different in the next 8 years (same as Lagos today looks different to what Fashola met) if a focused administrator replaces Fashola and consolidates upon the gains made to ensure the continuous prosperity that will continue to drive even greater regeneration than we are seeing till such reach virtually all corners of the State over the next two decades. |
anonimi: Not likely to happen anytime soon despite the humongous World Bank loan he took for the sector and almost N 6 billion EXTRA budgetary allocation from the federal government through UBEC.Lawd !!!!! The lunatic has made his way here. Is there no way Seun can create an 'asylum' section for the many 'unstable' users of NL? |
