VICTORCIZA: stop ranting sonCursed fool. Better go and beg those who cursed you and your entire lineage instead of remaining here to peddle lies daily and put your nose where it does not belong. You should be ashamed of yourself yet I know shamelessness and telling lies is in your DNA. Fools like you should be banned permanently from NL because your nauseating and off-putting conduct is the main reason bright Nigerians will stay away from this forum. Scumbags like you are the reason Nairaland is associated with cretinism. Just desist from mentioning Gbawe or lying about me and I will gladly avoid you. Know your place and keep your idiocy within the ranks of your fellow cretins, bigots and amebo wannabees. You are not even ashamed to show your wannabeism, nomadic mindset and vagrancy by offensively shouting "why Aregbesola can never rule Osun again" when you are not even from the SW let alone Osun State. Worthless and confused oaf. |
Neyoor: Nice one bro. Talk sense into his coloured brain.Abi ooo. Even to the extent of lying shamelessly against other Nairalanders. These guys are disgusting. They are like unwanted pests, rats and rodents that have infested homes they are not wanted in. At the end of the day, this issue is about Ekiti folks and the SW people and, ultimately, what is best for them. I don't know how Osun and Ekiti politics has now become the waking obsession of those who have never set foot in the SW let alone Ekiti and Osun State. It is these rodents who have made intelligent discourse all but impossible on NL these days. The sad thing is that these vengeful idiots care little for Ekiti or Osun and the people of those States. Most times they are posting vile pictures and insulting the people of those States and the SW in general. These confused nuisance will eventually destroy what Seun put together. Today, you will hardly see the bright posters of old still commenting on NL. They have left and are staying away. With the likes of the OP being the most vociferously prominent these days, creating cretinous thread like this one, why will sensible and intelligent Nigerians not be compelled to stay away from Nairaland? |
VICTORCIZA: Last governorship election was dramatic and intriguing especially here on nairaland, people like gbawe promised us that they will deactivate their account if Apc lose ekiti state election, among all the people that made that promise only Gbawe kept his side of the bargain even though he have been commenting here with his numerous monikers. You are sick, twisted and a disgrace. A god-forsaken liar who will never do good in life. Show where I made such a pledge here or accept that bad luck and failure will plague you and your entire lineage for the next 10 generations. Is Fayemi or APC paying me that I will then forfeit my right to discuss here because of the election loss of an APC guber candidate? Not all of us are losers like you with nothing going on in their lives but Nairaland and forming e-agberos for politicians who do not know or care that you exist. The Ekiti election is done and it is time for homeless vagrants, aimless wannabees and anchorless vagabonds like you to Leave stakeholders to mind their own affairs. Fools like you should move on. More pathetic and tragic is this whole show of 'crying more than the bereaved' since you and other cretins carrying this matter on your head are not even from the SW let alone Ekiti. Also, unlike morally compromised and worthless juvenile delinquents like you, I don't have multiple IDs not associated with Gbawe. Only cowards like you need such to carry out the mischief and deceit that forms part of your weak DNA and nature. Leave me out of your crap. Sad little man. |
nku5: This caught my attention. Please who are kingmakers in the land? The folks who make things happen, to install even a total cretin as President, without giving a damn about you apathetic, docile and indifferent Nigerians. |
Sincere 9gerian: Mission accomplished. This thread can now rest in peace.Joker. As if anyone takes your and your corrupt 'Messiah' seriously. That crap you posted above is if only fit for the toilet. Only clannish and ethnocentric posters read your garbage, lies and propaganda. The entire world can't be wrong about your ultra-corrupt boss even if you and other amoral liars come here daily to lick azz and launder image. |
APC has come to stay whether u likes it or not.
No more no less. It is the losers in life who fail to deal with the reality and instead prefer labeling others with childish name-tags while wallowing in self-delusion. Number strength, in politics, is uber powerful anytime, any day and anywhere. Let clannish daydreamers keep fooling themselves that things are otherwise and that GEJ will perform some miracle that will assist him stay in office beyond 2015. |
Pukkah: Just wait for a few days, no, minutes, and you'll see some of them come here to attack this thread or its creator; or the source and/or the author of the article, using all manner of their usual tricks - diversion, distraction, evading the issue, character assassination, etcBelieve me, sensible and honest Nigerians no longer care about the supporters of GEJ because we know their motivation for supporting such a wicked, ultra-corrupt and inhumanly callous Government happy to spend and loot lavishly while Nigerians starve. The world is sick to the the back teeth of the mind-boggling corruption and profligacy under GEJ. The other day it was George Bush, ordinarily very disinterested in anything that does not concern the USA, who had stern word about the inhuman corruption GEJ is supervising. Certainly GEJ is on his way out but what will linger in the memory of kingmakers, to ensure his kind will never see power again, is the ethnocentric and feverishly clannish support he enjoyed in the face of how he has done so much so hideously wrong to the extent world leaders , ordinarily diplomatic and detached, are now very vocal in condemning what is going on in Nigeria currently. |

talktimi: yet the APC is going round on their knees begging these "throwbacks & aberrant" leaders to join their fold. Where's the honor in consistency ?Are they asking them to come and be President, VP, Senate President et al or wooing them for the numerical strength that may aid the eventual overthrow of the PDP? What some Nigerians will never realize is that we have a political class consisting of people who, in a politically apathetic and unsophisticated nation, got involved to shape Nigeria for good or bad. When me and you are not rushing to get involved and provide new options then the pragmatic Politicians will conclude they have to work with reality and those who have made themselves available to save Nigeria. Buhari, like Gani et al, has lost many elections because of his hard-line stance which, frankly, is discordant with the on-ground reality of Nigeria. Buhari realized he was one of the few saints in a political Sodom and Gomorrah and thus destined to never be in a position to effect change if he kept intimidating and threatening all our self-serving political leaders. Whether you wish to admit it or not, the truth is that you are not, as part of the Nigerian public, going to assist Buhari do things his way. You and others simply don't have the evolution to aid that. What is Buhari, or anyone who wants the best for Nigeria to do, given the reality of Nigeria you are part of ? How do you get in to make a difference if you do not include and use those who can get you to power? Time for me, you and the entire Nigeria to become pragmatic in relation to the reality on the ground. Bruv, merry Christmas and wishing you a great 2014. |
@OP. Do not worry about the Yorubas. We dey kampe. Mind your own business for once and worry about you and yours. |
ba7man: This pedophile/ pervert should get lost jooor.Different folks. You are talking about Ahmed Sani Yerima. This is Haruna Yerima. @Topic. Ignoring the arrogance and uncompromising insistence of Yerima, I also think it should be Buhari. Nigeria is now a cesspit of hideous corruption thanks to the PDP's way of doing things. For so many reasons, Nigeria now urgently needs someone like Buhari. No more messing around with 'throwbacks' and aberrant leaders the entire world, without hesitation and with total disdain, now openly criticizes for hideous corruption and gross misrule. |
Uncle Gbawe has always understood Nigerian politics - Ignore his thoughts at your peril. miti changi oruko Uncle Gbawe si TB Gbawe, in honour of the profesying prophet.
Man mi, how far? Merry Xmas and a happy new year in advance. Jonathan has only just begun his descent into political oblivion and ignominy. It will be a fate he will fully deserve and one he has brought upon himself because of his mindless greed, jaw-dropping corruption, divisiveness, inordinate lust for power and sheer misrule that has now mired Nigeria in the mud of retrogression. Even George Bush recently joined the growing legion of world leaders now openly speaking against the mind-boggling corruption going on under GEJ. We dey watch and we dey enjoy the show. Have a great 2014 bro. |
seanet01: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Compliments of the season. Slightly busy of late and I have lost interest in Nairaland because of how it is now full of clannish and ethnocentric id1ots who chat crap and support what is wrong blindly. There are better ways to pass time than waste it with godforsaken elements. When I do post, from now on, it will be to talk to people who have sensible things to say or to address a worthy topic. Have a happy new year and a great 2014. |
GEJ insensitively buying more Planes while Nigerians starve? Is anyone surprised given the "don't give a damn" callous nature of the man? Anyway, 'fresh air' for all Nigerians at Christmas. Enjoy. |
Gbawe wrote: I personally think the opposition, if they get their act together, will succeed in ousting the PDP in 2015 simply because the various "do or die" factions in the The sage spoke and now it is happening. More Drama to come but the end of the PDP is a foregone conclusion as long as our woeful President continues with his machinations to make 16 greater than 19 and similar. GEJ is not wanted by the heart of the PDP and they will fight to prove a point to him. |
ilebaami: I am so very disappointed with the bigotry being exhibited by young Lagos residents in the main. Most are Yoruba who have very little exposure to the rest of Nigeria. Fashola, their hero is ordinarily not quality material like Agbaje. Even Jakande attended King's College and you could see originality in his radical approach. Fash is a product of lowly Birch Freeman which was not top 20 in the Lagos of his time. Fash is wobbling by showcasing ' Eko for show projects ' that the Lagos economy cannot sustain. Bigots beware. Your heroes are paper tigers. Your empire is collapsing! You talk of bigotry yet your post shows that you are a class A bigot and nauseatingly prejudiced person openly assaulting the senses of others with your disgusting bias. "Lowly Birch Freeman"? The secondary school Fashola attended now renders him inferior to his Kings College peers? It is people like you, god forbid you ever get there, who create segregated, elitist and class-based societies when in positions of power. You will shun merit and ability to propose that only some are fit to control society via background, upbringing, affiliations et al. Worst post of the year exposing a really primitive, elitist and highly prejudiced mind. |
tokunboh: The fundamental truth is that most of these rebels think GEJ should not have been president in the first place, they think of themselves as superior/better/stronger than him hence the reason why 'a Governor would threaten to kill a sitting President'.What "silent beast" If the majority is against him in the upper and lower legislative houses? What will he be "unleashing" if the opposition control more States, including the wealthiest and most strategic in Nigeria, as a reality? I think, truth be told, too many Nigerians operate without an appreciation of how things really are on the ground. This is why misrule is gross yet the general polity remains docile and unable to influence their own destiny. In any other nation on earth, there would be an exponent of this 'yawa' that the general population has a say in either in favour of the President or the "gang up" against him. Not so Nigeria because majority of Nigerians lack basic political sophistication and don't even know how to be anything other than powerless bystanders while Elephants fight. To that end it is left to the elite, "owners of Nigeria" and political power-brokers to fight themselves and see who comes out on top. This is where the numbers come in and this is where, for pragmatic folks, it is obvious GEJ is a goner. The alignment against him is not one to dismiss. The unique Nigerian 'kingmaker' system, the very one that installs the undeserving GEJs and Yar Adua's of the world, has decided GEJ must go. To me that is the end of matters. It does not help either that GEJ is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a good or pro-people President Nigerians can break age-long apathy and docility to fight for. |
One thing not apparent to many posters on NL, perhaps because Nigerians are more sentimental and biased than most, is the reality of how democracy is a game of numbers. When GEJ has lost the number game then anything can happen to him easily to even include impeachment. This is the reality his clannish supporters reject childishly while preferring to 'daydream'. Also, Nigerian politics is unique with how the President must always carry the political patronage system and its sagacious players along at all times. If this is done then such a President will enjoy his full term even if a lousy leader who has left all ordinary Nigerians highly disgruntled. As it is, GEJ has alienated and offended everyone with his divisive, rash and pugnacious approach to every situation. They are now determined to deal with him and show him the system they all worship and benefit from is bigger than the Presidency. I know who my money is on. Anyway, we watch and enjoy. |
Can't believe Oshiomhole said what he did. As if his words were not shocking enough, his attitude throughout the video appeared callous, detached and cold. Disappointing to see. Oshiomhole should be ashamed of his totally insensitive and heartless conduct. |
Sincere 9gerian: How is you long epistle different from what @Taharqa wrote? Is the word "SHAME" not in your dictionary? Oga Gbawe..,make small SHAME catch you naYou are just a pathetic 419ner and jobless sycophant pretending to be a medical doctor so I don't even have time for a loser like you. Better go and get a life rather than continuing the inane lie you are a Doctor on "sabbatical" when the entire forum knows you spend all your time on NL. Fraudster. |
double post. |
taharqa: He is NOT making any points, my Bruda. Its like you don't know him. He is a Bladdi HYPOCRITE; an HYPOCRITE of d highest..... Just over a year ago, this same Clown, @Gbawe, told us here that this same Power Privatisation he is now trying to comment on wud Not happen He also said that Manitoba would Not take ova TCN. . He was Categorical. He didn't use d word 'may not', but 'will not'. I remember requoting him and asking him how he cud hv bn so sure, and his response was same: Power Privatisation WOULD NOT happen. According to him, GEJ is 'incapable' of overseeing and bringing to conclusion such a complex process; GEJ and his Govt was 'clueless', 'corrupt', 'weak', 'mediocre', 'clannish', etc, etc- there was no single of his many adjectives he didn't used to describe d Govt, insisting that d Privatisation process if it went ahead at all, wud be so front with corruption and litigations that d process wud not complete. TODAY, this same Privatisation process- the largest and by far, d most complex in Africa and one of d largest in d world- has since concluded SUCCESSFULLY. And it was a Transparent and Open process, with just a SINGLE litigation from d ova 200 Investors that took part in d process!!!..... Of course, @Gbawe completely disappeared when it became clear that d process was coming to such a Successful end. I know this cos I hv been waiting for him. Then, all of a 'sudden' immediately he hears of one of d new owners complaining about an already announced 1 week dip in Generation due to gas pipeline problems and just a mere 3 weeks after handover, he reappears and like a possessed Dog, pouts over d news, writing one of those long meaningless Epistles of his and speaking thrash. And you expected me to be clapping for him?? Is he not Ashamed? Him no get any shame, at that his Old age? If he is not Ashamed, some of us dey Shame for am small small. #BladdiHYPOCRITE...You are a silly, childish and uncouth cretin who, no doubt, was raised in the gutter as agbero thrash. To that end I prefer to ignore you. Yet I will not let you get away with the lies you tell here daily because you assume others do not know you are a reprobate. Show where I "categorically" stated the bold above. Stating, from legitimate observation about the corrupt and cynical character of the government of the day, that privatisation may be perverted and not purist is not the same as stating it will not happen big olodo. Also, stating that the FG wanted to frustrate Manitoba is not, unless to a lying clown like you, equal to indicating Manitoba would not retain control it acquired through a legitimate contract. Illiterate fool. What I argue consistently is that processes and good initiatives will be perverted and bastardized by the ultra-corrupt and amoral GEJ Government. We all saw what happened to the Ribadu petroleum task force report as one saliently poignant example. I bet tomorrow you will lie I said the Ribadu report will not be submitted whereas the reality is that I said it will not/cannot be implemented as recommended by Ribadu et al because GEJ, Allison-Madueke and co are part of the problem the Ribadu report wants Nigeria to move against !!! All you know to do is go around insulting people and lying yet you are one of the least intelligent and most dishonest posters here. Mumu. You are nothing but a shameless liar. A slimy, worthless and dishonorable example of a human being. |
torkaka: Dude, read carefully this piece you posted and tell us more about "grammatical background"Don't pay any attention to the illiterate fool. He cannot even write as well as my 5 years old kid and he is attempting to correct me. Comical. He is another of the many groupies who make their use of nairaland exclusively about following other posters around shamelessly and malevolently. |
Prof Corruption: Sycophants believe once the word "privatized" is attached to power sector, problems will disappear.Exactly. Which brings us to the other point about how most sycophants are usually functional illiterate because their support is blind, clannish and unconditional. Such simplistic and one-dimensional minds have no time for facts, logic or critical thinking. |
They are now complaining. Only in Nigeria. Did these shallow and opportunist profiteers, with nil power sector knowledge, not do their feasibility study to see what they are getting into? Wait, I forget it was AGIPs, oligarchs and callous profit-seekers who won ' transparent bids' for conceded power Stations and utilities. I stand vindicated. Anyone can check the archives to see I talked of the danger of how "pseudo-privatisation" may be all GEJ will deliver given the ultra-corrupt and amoral "awon boyz" government he leads that is midwifing the "privatisation" of our power sector. Everyone heard "privatisation" and the premature jubilation began. We all forget that numerous evidence, far too many to count, show that the current PDP government , just like others before it, is the sort to cynically bastardize and ruin processes by putting personal aggrandizement above everything else . This is why every institution tha should be independent in Nigeria today remains heavily compromised and unable to deliver. What, as I argued in the past, was wrong with giving, as first line solution in a true federalism, Nigerian States the freedom to device their own electrification solution As Fashola, Amaechi and other serious Governors demanded? Instead we had Abdusalami, a soldier turned Politician, and his rapacious layman sort 'winning' bids all over the place. Not good at all. It was always going to end in tears. Nigerians, enjoy your "privatisation". You deserve it for thinking thieves could care about you when their actions show they live to fleece you. I sincerely hope the "privatisation" of the power sector works for Nigeria but excuse me for being cynical. |
feelamong: One thing you should understand is that Privatisation on its own is a means to an end and not an end in itself...Precisely. Besides, as with Russia, what we have in Nigeria is the zeal, from one PDP President to another since 1999, to create an Oligarch class who control State assets that bring vast wealth. These Oligarchs, in Nigeria's case, are cronies and pals of the political class they act as a front for. To the end 'privatisation' is aberrantly and cynically undermined and transformed into a tool of enrichment for the same set of AGIPs who have always taken Nigeria for a ride while things remain precisely the same. |
The bottom line is that the PDP , as much as it pains some to admit it, is a Northern Party. It is clannish element who do not and will never understand the process of painstakingly building a Political machinery and platform who will begin to talk foolishly of disenfranchising the Northern spine of the PDP merely because GEJ is President. They are the folks who will be in for a shock after all is said and done. I don't particularly like the PDP but I am someone who always confront and speak the bitter truth - especially to myself. Some clannish 'newbies' should go and do some research into the rise of the PDP to note what the much maligned North contributed. |
Nigerians are so politically unsophisticated that they even deny the obvious to themselves. It was ages ago I logically predicted this development given the corrupt character of GEJ and his inane actions that were the opposite of the solution needed to aid the quest for Nigeria to refine her crude optimally . Much like conceding pipeline protection contracts to militants, an action we now all know to be a ruse to allow oil theft proliferate massively, it was always obvious to pragmatic folks and critical thinker that this was the crude plan of GEJ from day one. Anyway, Nigerians enjoy. Many Nigerians fully deserve whatever befalls them for being prejudiced to the point they are not simply able to tell right from wrong any more. https://www.nairaland.com/946811/nnpc-oil-thieves-hijacked-political/3 Very well-said Sir. Let the mischief makers and ethnic jingoist try their best effort at spin. There are many intelligent adults here not taken in by such crude and weasel-like tactics. The fact, for anyone not into self-deception, is that GEJ is is a corrupt player in the oil and gas sector and he is deliberately destroying the ND.https://www.nairaland.com/1101930/nigeria-refineries-rated-worst-africa Sad sap. Were you not aware of how one of the first actions of GEJ , after winning the election, was to consign our Refineries into the hands of the NNPC for "turning around" over a 2 year period? Who does not know that the NNPC is perhaps the most corrupt and most inefficient government parastatal in Africa capable of delivering only failure? Why would "fresh air" and the "transformational crew" continue down the failed route?https://www.nairaland.com/628482/jonathan-unveils-gas-agenda-power/1 Can you still say the above today? |
Why are you people so lazy that you can't lookup simple information, but instead you'll confidently make pronouncements which project you as uninformed? The constitution allows for these house members to decamp, in fact Section 68 (1) of the 1999 Constitution allows defection of any lawmaker if there is division in the political party of which he was previously a member or a merger of two or more political parties or factions by one of which he was previously sponsored. Their seats cannot be constitutionally rendered vacant. I expect additional defection from the house and senate in coming days. I'm sorry to say that GEJ's days are numbered.
They are not lazy. They simply lack political sophistication . They do not even have an iota of it. You will find that these guys , despite being conventionally educated, will always lack political sophistication because their clannish nature and ethno-religious prejudice against others will perpetually prevent them from appreciating what politics, a game of numbers and alliances plus strategic planning, is all about. We are seeing politics playing out before ours yet some naff and politically gauche 'throwbacks' prefer going around shouting "boko/Yoruba" Party, "Yorobu and aboki gang-up" and other such illiterate and prejudiced drivel. I really pity some people and how their mental 'stumbling blocks' (divisiveness, prejudice, ethno-religious jingoism, paranoia, persecution complex et al) will always prevent them from seeing what matters . |
FYI op We now have a slang for our projects, its called "Ogun standard". Awareness is fast spreading.
Indeed. The "Ogun standard " coined by Amosun and adopted by all stakeholders and well-wishers. How far bro? |
