I don't believe Obasanjo is not a party to this controversy. How will a minister award a contract of such a huge some without the approval of presidency?

I hate to hear this word palliative in Nigerian context. It is a corruption embedded project.

Subsidize energy is the way out of this present mess and not sharing a cup of rice that cannot feed a family

What difference those it make?

At least from records we are yet to see the military holding salaries of workers during their era, that's the number one means of working against the economy by your so called angels of politicians.
Who told you they don't owe salaries?
When I did my youth service, it was partly military and civilian, I can tell you a state that cannot play ball in Abuja will have their allocation delayed hence late payment of salaries even during the military era

That's what they told you in school we want you to practically tell us how because all those crimes you talk about during the military regime is now very much with us now.

So many people are still in prison without trials, press freedom not granted and many more.
Why conclude that it was they told me in school.
I've witnessed both the military and civilian rule , and I can tell you categorically, if a civilian government has bad records expect worse records from the military and you dare not call them out for corruption if you love yourself and your family

ReubenE:
While all the things you stated above is generally true about military regime especially in Nigeria, the country is still suffering all of them under civilian rule even on a larger scale.
Poverty and strife is the order of the day and there is open stealing in government which ordinary people like you and I can't do anything about.
About the freedom of expression or insulting somebody, it is still the same the populace is suffering. Anybody that the president decide to deal with today for insulting him, nobody can do anything about it just like how it is obtainable under military rule.
Is there any law that the Nigeria government respect? The Nigeria government since 1999 has assumed the position of being the law onto itself.
When you juxtapose military governments in Nigeria with their civilian counterparts, the military is even miles ahead of the civilians in terms of national development despite their corruption. There is hardly any national infrastructure in Nigeria today that you can point to that was not built under the military. The civilians are only doing refurbishment...there is hardly anything of note that they have done. Though we don't wish for military rule because the military should never have any business with running government. Demonizing them in comparison to the crooked civilians we have in government is what I will never stand in support of.

However, I disagree with you that Buhari came back as a civilian president to wreck the country which he was unable to do in 1984. Buhari was a failure in 1984, and a failure in 2015.
I don't know your age, but I tell the worst civilian government in Nigeria is better the best military rule.

I used to have a friend in early 80s who will buy a ball and keep it in my custody because he cannot take it home. Like OP said I decide who plays on the pitch whenever that my friend is not around. Eventually, a boy kicked the ball, and it entered a ceiling of one factorylike building and the owner of the ball kept on asking for the ball for so many years until it become a joking matter

Here is Major General Okoro humbling himself to seek our his Yoruba Company Sergeant Major( CSM) in recognition of the role he helped to play in shaping his life as a young officer.

MKO June-12 struggle was championed by brave Igbos like the late R.Adr Ndubuisi Kanu, Chris Anyawu alongside Abraham Adesanya, Pa Adekunle Ajasin though some Igbos like Aurthur Nzeribe worked against it. By then, Tinubu have fled abroad when his deal for Abacha to make him the civilian administrator of Lagos fell through. Me I follow fought for the mandate too. Now Peter Obi was condemned for a well know man with dirty past because of parochial politics.

Allen Onyema made Air Peace biggest air fleets available for freighting of Covid-19 consumables and logistics but they hated and condemned him over a phantom financial fraud in the US. Seunmsg my friend was one of the leading champion then but today defending a grossly publicised multiple scandals involving Tinubu.

Innocent Motors versus GTB scandal is still fresh in our memory. The Yoruba man that was making malicious claim that his company alleged bought faulty vehicles from Innoson motors have to delete his FB account when confronted over his false claims. They hate us but we continue to show the love.
Being happiness is a personal virtue and contagious
I know you are very intelligent person but defending politician can sometimes turn one into a foolish person hence the need to stop defending falsehood and lies.

I remember one girl that saw me soaked with rain in those days and said, so you don't have a car and I said yes. When I tried to woo her, the girl turned me to an object of mockery Infront of her colleagues, one of them was even warning her but she ignored her. 13 years later, she is still searching for a better man.

Obi is a hypocrite.

No matter how he plays to the gallery, I see person like Soludo or Umahi a credible man for presidency rather than this always black clothed man

Sorry for those who believe in pastors. I don't. I believe in God. I go to church o, but with a little suspicion of anybody/everybody. I trust no one but God. That is why when I am asked to be a worker in church, I jejely avoid it. That is another level of control. As a worker, you are under authority and you are not supposed to speak even when you see things that you feel are wrong. Leaving the church too becomes messy especially when it is a small church and you are well known. I would rather be a member and observe things. Anytime they don't align to my beliefs, I'm out.
You are saved to save others.

If you continue to be a bench warmer, you have not really given your life to Christ. If you feel you are not comfortable with the authority in your church, go to another one

Well, to the OP, I pity the man...
The woman really went too far...
Encounter like dis in the hands of kidnappers can give the man PTSD for life...

Since Money is not the problem of the woman, and obviously she paid those kidnappers, it would have been better if she paid them all to have sex with her...

Her husband is one = 1 rod ..
Kidnappers are up to 3(or more) = 3 rods

So she will enjoy it well..

But the husband sef, na wa... You too try to dey service madam twice a week na,... Wednesday and Saturday night...

For better for worse ...
Court Rise....
Case Dismissed..
For you to give this kind of suggestion means you must be a confirmed street girl all along

Most of you especially Yiboos mocking Yoruba are ignorant of these religious antics of this so-called alfas in Ilorin.
FYI, they are part of isese people too especially in the lekuleja market in Ilorin where it's alhaja or alhaji that is selling and most of their customers are predominantly all these alfas that ate castigating the Osun tradition worshippers. They even busted an alfa that to the river to curse the isese people that he is still owing Osun priestess based on the fact she midwifes his pregnant wife, and it was even Osun that gave his barren wife a child. They even dare him to come out and challenge them based on the fact

Irrespective of the fact that I fan Davido over Wizkid, turning down an ardent fan would make him lose many fans to the millions of arewas he recently lose due to the islamic video clips he posted.

And no Yorubas came to his rescue after claiming that Christians and Muslims are one in Yoruba land.

Modified:

I've had over hundred mentions over this comment and all are Yorubas attacking me for mentioning a tribe.

But they never used this same energy to tell the arewas that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the video.

So far, they've been able to call Wole Soyinka as the only Yoruba man to have spoken in defence of Davido. Only prof. Wole ......

Isn't it a shame?
Most of you will just cast aspersion on Yoruba people ignorantly.
Must everything about you guys be always tribal attack
