At first, I was so skeptical we will bin it. Everybody enjoyed it though I added a twist to it.
I washed and soaked dry fish. Blended it with crayfish to give me that soup taste. The only diff is that the jute leave I bought doesn't have that deep jute leave taste like the one in naija.

Glad you love the way it turned out. We usually add ground crayfish and ground pumpkin seeds in our because of the children, to make it more nutritious for them.

The way this guys are redeployed is sometimes annoying. Are they expected to move their families at this rate too?

Interview was short and honestly I have no idea why I was denied , I’m guessing strong home ties , it went like this

VO: what is program are you going for?
Response : I’m going for Masters in International Relations and Affairs

VO: What school are you going to
Response: Webster University

VO: What is the address of your school
Response:470 Lockwood avenue St. Louis Missouri

VO: do you have any relative in the US ?
Response : No I don’t

VO: what is your current job
Response : I’m a lawyer

VO: How long have you been working as a lawyer ?
Response : for 2 years ( it’s my first interview and I really practiced maybe I should have explained further what I do .

VO: I can see you have a $24000 deficit who is funding your studies ?

Response :My Father (was expecting him to ask further questions on what he does and financial statements, but that what the last question

VO: sorry you are not qualified for Visa at this time , hands me the pink paper

Honestly I’m finding it hard to prove home ties ,I’m not married ,have no established business here ,was hoping he asked me about my program and what I plan to do with it , also any suggestion to get a school with better funding with my GRE score would be duly appreciated .

Just curious in general about your profile. Webster University is a good private school and well ranked in the Mid West however, if you have a good undergraduate GPA, with your GRE score, you might be able to get a better option for Fall in terms of funding.

That said, when next you are asked about your current job, try to respond better. I am a lawyer is not sufficient as you could have talked about where you practice and what exactly you are into. If you are not stopped, talk about the interesting cases you have handled etc. If you look through the next question, you will realize she also gave you another opportunity to clarify but you did not seize the opportunity.

Lastly, as for schools, use www.usenews.com/education to find schools that have the program you want. Explore the various programs and funding available and take it up from there.

I hope she isn't desperate otherwise, there is a high likelihood of she falling in wrong hands.

As someone who likes food a bit, I enjoy savoring through every bite in the food I eat. So I usually take my time to eat. I eat with cutleries about 95% of the time except for finger food so I guess it also helps buy time instead of rushing to go wash my hand.

Unless we have better governance where things are under control, the corruption can't stop. The system as it is as the moment is the biggest enabler of corruption at all levels.

Here is the procedure I followed: Seasoned the ground beef with salt, paprika, black pepper and adobo; then set aside. Broke three eggs and whisked them in a different bowl and set aside. Poured some store bought seasoned panko in another bowl and set aside. Put some flour with salt in another bowl and set aside. Boiled the egg, peeled them, paper dried them.

To combine, I put the egg into the flour bowl and ensure it was well coated, took a portion of beef into my palm and tried flattening it a bit. Put the flour coated egg into the beef and try covering the egg properly with the beef. Put the beef covered egg into the flour again and ensure it is well coated, then put it in the egg mixture. Put it back into the flour and then into the egg for a second egg washing. Then tossing it in the panko.

To fry, I put the oil in a deep pot, put the food thermometer and ensured it was 350F hot (this I have never done when frying but wanted it to come out very successful). Then I fried it. I am not sure it is the oil because some came out well before I finished them in the oven at 400F for 5 minutes.

Will try again and not give up.

I've made it once myself and it came out ok, nice try though.

My mom doesn't eat pork so I had to improvise with ground beef.

The eggs are wrapped in sausage, egg washed and quoted with panko/bread crumbs. I decided to use ground beef and I am not sure why the meat got loosen in the hot oil.

We suffer the get rich quick syndrome in Nigeria. How can 16 year old kids be so engrossed with making it quick to the point of being swindled?

What is the essence of the Sustainable Goals? Government should be responsible up to Secondary School. Anyone supporting the hike in fees is supportive of a government taking us back.

I can only hope the judiciary can do their jobs truthfully for once. Many politicians have different fake things about them however, we usually don't get fair judgments.

No one should blame this on the current economic situation. I don't understand how people like him do not understand he is causing the boss pains by stealing from him.

You would have done a lot better to investigate those particular businesses that are not subject to FLSA instead of pretending that your initial claim somehow makes sense.

There are many businesses that falls into these category such as small business with limited revenue, family owned business, some seasonal businesses such as agriculture, even some charity organizations etc. Summary is that they are not enforced to pay the Federal Minimum Wage if the state in which they operate their business has a lower minimum wage.

My initial claim still remains unless we know the number of students, location, etc. we cannot come into a conclusion. I backed it up by stating that I am not sure of the Nigerian law on minimum wage however, some state government pays below the minimum wage as such, unless a labor lawyer educate us, we cannot be certain. You in your almightiness came to argue that any business who cannot pay the N70000 has no reason in business when some government cannot even pay it. This I responded to that the US allow some certain employers be exempted from the FLSA as such, they can pay below minimum wage.

Learn to be humble when you do not know things instead of acting you know it all. My last comment to you on this.

Are we ever going to have solution to our flooding problems in Nigeria? I think it is high time we worked our system instead of leaving everything to God. I am convinced some clowns will call this the "Act of God" when it can be prevented.
