I am not a pessimist but the truth is that even with this project at 100% functioning, it will not change the current situation of petroleum products in Nigeria, both the price and availability of fuel. You know why, to an average black Man, any idea or invention is more of making profit than meeting people’s needs. Kudos to Dangote on his unrelenting effort to expand his empire. At least all the subsidies will now be channeled to one man DANGOTE and for the Nigerian citizens, nothing changes |

Politics › Re: Buhari Disappears In London by gcof(m): 8:39pm On May 03, 2019 |
jieta: This are the things Nigeria youth are suppose to be debating about but rather we have been more concern about Regina Daniel marrying her ancestor and totoh dikeh getting fuc k by her one minute husband. the voice of the people has been suppressed, the elites are busy Looting the national treasury and the common man’s goal is daily survival. Whether you debate it or not, nothing is going to change. The current rulers have turned Nigeria into a lawless nation and at the end of the day, what matters to an average Nigerian is his/her happiness and if Tonto or Regina gists brings them the happiness they so desired then nobody has the moral right to tell them otherwise |

ddjay: The simple point is, infinix and co will prefare to operate in countries that don't have regulatory laws, i mean countries that can't differentiate between crap and rubbish just because its cheap i don’t think it is about regulatory body. Any company can make quality products but the thing is this, do you think transsion would want to take the risk of making quality phones and competing with the likes of America’s Apple or Korea’s Samsung whom have already conquered the telephone industry or for them to just get into a virgin land like Africa and produce what suits the people? |

Lexusgs430: But who do we blame for lack of laws or enforcements of consumer goods acts?...
By right everything jumia sold, must have as standard, one years manufacturers warranty....... what you people have failed to understand is that with high quality of products, the price will also be high. It is not a question of law, Africa is still underdeveloped and a greater number of its population can not afford high quality phones. I think that is where the transsion company comes in, produce below standard phones that can give you a feel of the high end phones at a relatively cheap price |

Many people have lost their lifes due to the few number of medical practioners we have, the government should rather find a way to improve doctors salaries and provide essential equipment for their work instead of acting unconcerned, the truth is Nigerian doctors are well appreciated abroad. he is very correct just that we have more unemployed doctors than employed ones |

id911: Why can't the state for once and perhaps, suspend the so-called Rule of Law in this instance and arrest, let's say E-money, Hushpuppi, Reginald Daniels, and the likes and possibly seize their properties if they can't convincingly explain or account how they legitimately got them? I support the state to crush them ruthlessly to serve as deterrent to others. Even the owners of Media Houses that give them publicity must be punished because it affects the young ones psychological but sadly, the state doesn't care.
I don't think this society can grow and develop the way it's currently structured calm down first brother. Let the state first arrest those we know the source of their income and the average wealth they should have but they have way more than a local government lets say political office holders and heads of parastatals |
