As if the FG didn't see or notice that the road was bad before the LASG decided to fix it and now that they've started, the FG wants to move there and take the shine off the proactive state government. Well said Fagunwa,they should look else where as there are scores of Federal roads in the state with gaping potholes yawning to be filled |

Besides I've been advised several times that part of security consciousness includes 'avoiding an open display of opulence'. It's youthful exuberance at a certain age and immaturity when you're in your thirties and you would undoubtedly be setting yourself up for a criminal attack |

Not so certain whether or not a break up will solve any problem but we need to sit and discuss every parameter that defines our present 'union'. If its not working and a breakup is the only way to keep us happy, then so be it. Just like some marriages, no matter how beautiful they look on the outside, should end. A divorce IMO is better than a marriage that constantly keeps the couple in agony |

Sometimes I'm amazed seeing people poo in street corners, bridges and even walkways when they can easily walk into an eatery, restaurant, mall or hotel and get it done for free. I think people should be educated on that |

I keep saying Ibori won't be in jail now if he was tried in Nigeria while Henry Okah may be a minster now if he wasn't arrested in SA I can imagine CNN's Jonathan Mann reporting this and he goes like, 'for stealing retired police men's pension funds worth guess ... $146m, a convict gets ... wait for it, a 2yr jail term but he's not gonna spend a night in behind bars as he was given an option of a fine of ... you won't believe this 1,500 bucks. I know a whole lotta people that would help him pay twice the fine or do the time to get a quarter of his booty ... |

Go through the NBS website and revert. The SW still has the least poverty and unemployment rate in the whole of Nigeria based on a survey carried out in 2010 http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/information In addition, the SW has the highest GDP and even if you took away the GDP of Lagos, the GDP of the remaining states of the SW would only be second to that of the SS I wonder why people can't read and comprehend things written in simple English. The Office of the Statistcian General only refuted a report that figures were released for 2012. There was no mention of which state was the poorest when the last survey was carried out in 2010 which is what is currently on its website That aside, GDP is calculated annually and it's not in the purview of the NBS to release that.
