As if the FG didn't see or notice that the road was bad before the LASG decided to fix it and now that they've started, the FG wants to move there and take the shine off the proactive state government. Well said Fagunwa, they should look else where as there are scores of Federal roads in the state with gaping potholes yawning to be filled |
When someone who isn't know to be a great dresser says he wants to start a clothing line, you better watch it ... |
The 3MB is well policed at night and I think the same should apply to roads with high crime rates during heavy vehicular traffic and late and night |
The more we chase the savages back to their villages, the less crime we record |
This is poverty of the mind. Not impressed. You won't see a Tuface or D'Banj do this. Doesn't mean they can afford anything that the twins can. Besides I've been advised several times that part of security consciousness includes 'avoiding an open display of opulence'. It's youthful exuberance at a certain age and immaturity when you're in your thirties and you would undoubtedly be setting yourself up for a criminal attack |
Azu River Okija Shrine East-West road ......runs from thread |
Not so certain whether or not a break up will solve any problem but we need to sit and discuss every parameter that defines our present 'union'. If its not working and a breakup is the only way to keep us happy, then so be it. Just like some marriages, no matter how beautiful they look on the outside, should end. A divorce IMO is better than a marriage that constantly keeps the couple in agony |
Sometimes I'm amazed seeing people poo in street corners, bridges and even walkways when they can easily walk into an eatery, restaurant, mall or hotel and get it done for free. I think people should be educated on that |
I keep saying Ibori won't be in jail now if he was tried in Nigeria while Henry Okah may be a minster now if he wasn't arrested in SA I can imagine CNN's Jonathan Mann reporting this and he goes like, 'for stealing retired police men's pension funds worth guess ... $146m, a convict gets ... wait for it, a 2yr jail term but he's not gonna spend a night in behind bars as he was given an option of a fine of ... you won't believe this 1,500 bucks. I know a whole lotta people that would help him pay twice the fine or do the time to get a quarter of his booty ... |
Now I know this country has no hope. Wished. Hadn't invested as much as I have in this contraption. Would have relocated for good. Obviously he was asked to plead to get a light sentence. |

Hope Brentford wins. Bees sting. I grew up partly supporting this club but today I'm a United fan and I'm so passionate about my team |

Igbo Presidential Bid Sold Out! |
Reference: The other way round. Henry Okah already serving life in SA. Think they were waiting for that.Henry Okah's judgment is pending. He was only found guilty |
The Entrepreneurship Drive remains in Park until we can see results BTW why is there no link |
Gory stories surfacing these days. How on earth did she feel when the child was screaming while the hot iron cremated her skin? This woman can sure kill without batting an eyelid |
Okay then, you can adopt it as the de facto constitution, bible and manual for every gadget in Igboland. A book whose title was stolen from William Butler Yeats' Second Coming. |
Are they setting a tone for Henry Okah's judgment? |
What number will it get to before the Igbos fight back? Maybe they are scared to |
Silos for cellphones right? |
Same thing we heard about Portharcourt over three years ago. |
Go through the NBS website and revert. The SW still has the least poverty and unemployment rate in the whole of Nigeria based on a survey carried out in 2010 http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/information In addition, the SW has the highest GDP and even if you took away the GDP of Lagos, the GDP of the remaining states of the SW would only be second to that of the SS I wonder why people can't read and comprehend things written in simple English. The Office of the Statistcian General only refuted a report that figures were released for 2012. There was no mention of which state was the poorest when the last survey was carried out in 2010 which is what is currently on its website That aside, GDP is calculated annually and it's not in the purview of the NBS to release that. It's an economic index which is verifiable through commercial activities in the jurisdiction under consideration be it a company or government |
