We lead. Others follow. More of the same please. Eko o ni baje |
So now we expect that they will be taxed according to the amount they claim they make and should they bring out the pigs in them once more, they should be shipped off to their villages. Life will be much better in Yorubaland without fake and stolen car parts |
To all you haters, the CCTVs were deployed by BRF and its been ongoing for a while. There are also surveillance cameras on Third Mainland Bridge Lagos State controls the monitoring centre and it is entirely a Lagos project https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZd744ITJK4 |
Okay now that they claim that they make N100bn daily, shall we tax the pigs accordingly!? |
By then there won't be any need would there since there would be a Biafra Republic as strongly advocated by these people that have refused to leave Lagos but which Lagos is gradually leaving |
Can't wait to see him contest |
The money in foreign reserves can be kept in Nigerian banks to stimulate the economy by making liquidity available to the real sector at reduced rates. I wonder what the use is shoring up foreign reserves that can finance well over 9 months of imports. A waste of initiative I must confess |
Go Fash! You're the best. We lead and others follow. Shame on pigs |
Why didn't she work for Enugu Civil Service? |
Now time to chase those pigs selling building parts there the same way those at Ladipo were |
You can't come to desecrate our land and expect that we will just let it pass Has he bothered talking his scummy brothers? |

BRF should demolish the entire market without wasting one second and ensure there are standards for auto parts vendors and also standard diagnostic and car repair centers. We can do it and let them go and set up the junkyard in their backward backyard. I'll like to see educated sales men and women and also auto vendors with websites where you can order car parts online and even get them delivered with guarantees on them and not the gang of criminals and ritualists currently gathered at Ladipo

So how much taxes do they remit on a N100bn daily turnover? Even all the banks in Nigeria do not make N100bn daily collectively If they claim to make that much, then the LASG should ensure their turnovers translates to taxes and I'm in support of the shutting down. Yorubas sold genuine spare parts long before these guys ventured into the business flooding the markets with inferior products and their trading environment was decent. If those habits are tolerable in their states, they should realize that Lagos and the SW is far more civilized and will NOT tolerate animal behavior Government should go ahead to demolish the illegal structures and build malls where authentic motor parts will be traded and serviced. It's time to take the business away from these quacks and allow decent and honest people take charge |
No one can influence the globally recognized Fitch Rating. This is a plus for Lagos State. We lead and others follow Eko O ni baje |
No one told us in an extensive interview that government will set up a committee to light up Ikorodu road. It just happened and it broke in the press afterwards. Way to go. Make it happen before inviting the media and not keep promising what you know you won't deliver on |
Been on generator for the past 8hrs if not more as I type this |
It's the same people responsible for the filth that come here to scream, Lagos is the third dirtiest city in the world |
Good move. Long over due. That place could cause an epidemic that will kill thousands and remains major risk |
Lagos State Government has said it will shut Ladipo Market in Mushin Local Government indefinitely because of the degradation of the environment by the traders. Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello, said on Tuesday that arrangement had been concluded for the closure. He said the government was concerned about the environmental nuisance always created by spare parts dealers in the market. Bello spoke during an inspection tour of drainage projects across the state in preparation for the 2013 rainy season. The commissioner, who was accompanied by the Chairman of the state Task Force on Environment and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit, Bayo Sulaimon, said the government would not continue to fold its arm and watch the environment being degraded by dealers. Bello said, “In Ladipo Market, the traders have taken over the road, carrying out commercial activities and dumping refuse indiscriminately in the drainage channels. “You can see what they have turned this market into. You can see the environmental nuisance created by the spare parts dealers. Government is not going to allow this. “Any moment from now, we are going to seal off the market indefinitely, if they do not comply with the state environmental law.” He also said structures built on drainage channels would soon be demolished, assuring residents of Mushin of early completion of all ongoing projects to reduce floods in the area. Other projects inspected are Fakuro/Fagbnro downstream, proposed construction of the mid-stream of Fagbenro/Takuro/Ewunni/Paul Okunola/Mushin Itire collector drain; Eleja Primary School drain, and rehabilitation project of System 6c in Abeokuta Street. http://www.punchng.com/news/filth-lagos-to-shut-ladipo-market-indefinitely/ |
