It's always Lagos sha! It's even more important to the Igbos that they capture Lagos than the presidency. I repsect OBJ but sir, PDP can't and won't rule Lagos |
Abagworo: I personally stopped to take these pictures. Was actually going to Umudi in Nkwerre LGA. This was June 2012.I believe by now some of the roads should be complete with streetlights.Just by mere looking at the roads, you can tell they aren't durable because what I can see is the wearing course which means its all done though not well done. |
FreeGlobe: comes alive with uncompleted buildings? and you notice how the official ACN nairaland publicist was quick to say Thank you to the below par governor as if he was doing a favor to the people from his personal pockets. ACN is evil! They only perform by propagandaSeriously we don't have your time. We are quite busy right now developing our region. |
Another Obudu in the making Slowly and surely, Yorubaland is advancing This is the same governor that increased the state's IGR from N106m to over N600m within a year and has also turned the state into a huge construction yard Well done Fayemi |
Nigeria is the centre for pirate attacks and recently we were named the kidnap capital of the world as well as one of the top nations known for terrorist attacks and its so painful these acts are concentrated in certain places while the rest of us are bunched under the shameful umbrella |
Any nigerian born and bred in Anambra is an Anambran as well There are hausa and igbo people who's ancestors have been in lagos longer than some yoruba there. Almost nobody in lagos is an indigine, unless you believe the colonials ran into a huddle of 20 million precolonial africans when they go there.
Don't be silly, even at independence our population was barely 55million and there are indigenous Lagosians. How old do you think the Oba of Lagos monarchy is? And who were his subjects when the Portuguese first came into Lagos ? Population increases with time through births or migration. My point is Lagos is as much of Yorubaland as Onitsha is Igboland. There are Yorubas in Onitsha and how come they aren't saying this. How come the Hausas that are clearly larger in population than the Igbos in Lagos aren't saying this? |
He's not a disappointment to those who voted him. He punched Peter Obi's aide and assaulted Senator Anyanwu. He has fought for his right and right of way at every given opportunity. Isn't that why we voted him? ![]() |
Ngwakwe: Any Nigerian born and bred in Lagos is a LagosianWhy Lagos? Why not Anambra? Why do you so badly wish you were Yoruba? Is being Igbo making you feel inferior? |
We don't care who he appoints where. As long as we have regional autonomy, we are fine. We have a development plan for our region and we don't give a hoot what happens anywhere else as long as it doesn't affect any Yoruba person. We have learned out lessons and will forthwith take our destiny in our own hands |
Virtually everyday, there is one kidnap news or the other which is just a small fraction of all the kidnappings that happen in the country. If its not bombings in the north, it will be kidnapping in the SS or SE. I just wonder how long this will continue. Just wonder ![]() |
Some of these projects; malls and hotels are not infrastructural developments that will affect the common people except a few roads in Abuja, the Lekki Free Trade Zone and the Lagos Light Rail by BRF. All the others are just like you coming to take a picture of my homes and offices and putting them up |
berem: and so what? haters on the loose!Hate? On top of palm oil? The packaging isn't even appealing. Doesn't look anything better than what Iya Basira can roll out of her production line |
Olu dey maintain. No shaking |
I hope their victims are reimbursed |
It's a PR stunt. Wondering how much he was paid for this |
Yes I agree with the OP and in addition Alao Akala will take over from Rochas Okorocha while Alhaji Lateef Akinsola aka Tokyo will succeed Sullivan Chime after Peter Obi would have handed over to Abass Obesere |
I believe in the intellectual power of the SW and Yoruba people to turn their region into an Eldorado. We have everything its takes and we have decided to take our destiny in our own hands. Even if we fix Federal roads and the FG refuses to reimburse us, we would have succeeded in improving infrastructure which will consequently lead to development and ultimately increased IGR for our states. Yorubaland o ni baje!!! |
I support this with every cell of my Yoruba blood though I'm Christian. Studying Ifa is not the same thing as worshiping Ifa. Who and how you choose to worship should be a matter of choice. |

And the same FG couldn't guarantee LASG's $600m (N90bn) World Bank loan which the LASG never even defaulted in its obligations in the first tranche? I wonder what the FG does with all its income when it can't fix its roads and as a responsive state government that realizes the economic importance of certain roads, the LASG has decided to fix them and what has the FG done in return? Fold its arms, do nothing as usual but budget money for energy saving light bulbs which were never bought and now mobile phones which will never be delivered. Instead of distributing bulbs, can't you build micro power plants and instead of giving phones to farmers, can't you buy and lease equipment and land to them at low rates. This shows a government that thinks slowly like it has admitted but after all the time spent thinking, they still reach absurd conclusions which they smear the face of Nigerians with. We, the Yoruba people have been advocating for regional autonomy which will give us the license to judiciously utilize our resources for our common good and not contribute to a centre which does nothing with all the funds it gets |
We are marching forward Eko o ni baje! Ile Yoruba o ni baje!! |
Well I really can't tell for sure what his state of health is but observing the picture, I can deduce the following: 1. The man to his left and his wife's expressions don't match his 2. He doesn't seem to be aware of the camera or anything else for that matter 3. The food placed in front of him is half eaten, meanwhile the cutlery is untouched 4. Compared to his previous picture below, it's obvious his facial expression is a lot different from what it normally is 5. Why was the picture taken in the dinning and why is his chair different 5. There are other pictures from other angles in the hospital. Notice his wife changed her posture in the picture but he remained still with the child

danjabaluson: Nigeria’s president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has finally given an explanation for his perceived ‘slowness’, which has left a lot of the country’s citizens frustrated and angry. |
Sincere 9gerian: What has the Lagos State govt been doing with its share of funds saved from partial removal of fuel subsidy? This is an important question that should bother every right thinking Nigerian/Lagosian. Though subsidy removal was fiercely opposed by ACN governors and legislators, the federal govt succeeded in partial removal of fuel subsidy, courtesy of which ALL tiers of govt earned EXTRA funds. The FG has since deployed its share to intervene in several critical infrastructure nationwide through a programme it calls SURE-P. However, no one knows what other tiers of govt are doing with their share of the funds. You tell us what your home state governor has done with his first before poking your nose into other people's affairs |
Oh not again! At least for Taraba's Suntai, we saw pictures |
What really is the OP trying to achieve with this? Even the Binis that settled in some parts of Lagos have ceased to be Bini after several generations and they do not account for up to ten percent of indigenous Lagosians |
baby_mama: The day the news broke about his death I called someone in Enugu who called an insider and I received a message that the man had died2 likes for this |
cockyjay: The ibos have to blame someone for the failure of biafraYou didn't need to be a scholar or be intelligent to realize the war was a futile mission from the day the first shot was fired. There are effective ways to secede without firing a shot. |

plendil: on what grounds?191. Hillary Clinton, the former US Secretary of State recently resigned her appointment to attend to her health. Till date, the report on her health is in public domain. I wonder why on earth a governor will disappear for almost half a year and no one can say a word about where he is and the state of his health. This is governance at its worst and I think he can and should be impeached |
You've just gotta love this man |
