Petmayor:I think it's the kind of plaster they used possibly has much mud, they should have added sharp sand too. I will suggest you screed like someone is offering already. Black screed with additive should cover them up. 2 Likes |

acorntree:I don't mean laying Interlocks directly on concrete. Of course Interlocks will be laid on sand. It's sometimes done to prevent the grass that grow inbetween the spaces and to also prevent sinking etc... |

Tsuccesssquare:Good morning... Stamped Concrete should last for at least 7 years on the average before showing signs of maintenance and places with less traffic like you said will last much more. As regards cost of maintenance, Interlocks has lower cost of maintenance as you may just need to remove the weeds that grow between the spaces and relay the Interlocks incase some portion sinks. Also if you use nylon and do small concrete casting before laying Interlocks it will last much more. 3 Likes |

redgem:I'll go with Stamped Concrete except you might want to do other things under the ground in future cos you would have to cut and recast. Interlocks would be better in that case but will have grass growing in between the spaces after some time. |
