Kingsleyinfo: well i once met a girl who wanted to sell her nokia E61i to go buy a blackberry it simply shows how naive and shallow hearted we nigerians have become.
for an IT professional like myself i don't personally recommend the blackberry there are other better gadgets to buy, the IPHONE 4, Apple Ipad, Windows phone, mention them
if you like the blackberry buy it but remember its just a phone, always buy gadgets according to what you need it for not to show off. and make a fool out of yourself, we always manage to make everything about our EGO,
imagine relationships broken, spouse fighting friends quarrelling all because of a blackberry abi na blackcurrant abeg make i go sip my ribena, afteralll na berry still dey inside. sorry but you are the one that sounds naive, u sound like an outsider looking in i dont live in naija nor do i carry a bb, im a iphone user but if i were to be living in naija i will certainly make the switch. and when i do visit i have a spare blackberry to activate. u cant deny the fact that bb is a more effective tool to communicate in naija compared to all the other fancy gadgets u mentioned. note that bbm allows u to shield yur phone number while allowing you to communicate via a pin # globally, all done relatively cheaply. the battery life is great, u can set up group chats, and more importantly tons of users are on it. bring yur ipad to chat in naija and lets see if you will have anyone to talk to. |

Pataki: If you are NOT voting GEJ,
May your life never experience astronomical shame, stoning and disgrace like Goodluck Jonathan
May you never move from your position of honor to the zenith of your shame and cluelessness, just like that of Goodluck Jonathan
May the cluelessness that continues to follow Goodluck Jonathan never rub off on you and bring you extraordinary failure just like Goodluck Jonathan!!
May you be recognized even in international circles as a Nigerian for standing against corruption just like Buhari!!
May the dreams and plans of your enemies against you crumble without too much of a fight, just like the dreams and plans of Jonathan's enemies - Alams and Yar'Adua!!!
And finally, I wish you a DIGNIFIED CHANGE in all your endeavors!! Remember, the only constant thing in life is CHANGE not Goodluck!! Ameeeeeen ni oruko Jesu!!!!

valarinz: Chei, this our country sef, strange things dey happen here than any where else in d world. How can an FA claiming to be serious about reviving football throw 22 players and officials into an airplane to the USA when obviously from the start no tournament was scheduled to take place, they don go shopping with free air fares from taxpayers money, next we'll go to England to play against Chelsea while Mikel will line up for Chelsea, chei LOL, strange indeed! funny thing is there were suspicions about the cup long before the team departed and yet they still flew out to Dallas. |

Politics › Re: What Is Your Side To Road Construction Under Fashola? by Gekko(m): 4:22pm On Feb 18, 2011 |
ROSSIKE: See, if you build a road like THAT above, it will never ''flood'' during rain. The drainage is taken care of as a matter of course. It is only when you build substandard rubbish that some people call ''roads'', with open drains or sand by the side etc that you have such problems like ''flooding during rain''. Good observation bro! it smacks of sheer incompetence for our govt to build roads without considering drainage. For Christ sake, there are roads in Greece that dates back to several centuries that were paved with gutters in its original design. These gov official/ contractors are pulling a fast one over Nigerians taxpayers. They build unreliable roads with the intent that they don't last a season and then re-award the contract. |

I think Tinubu was too soft on GEJ.
GEJ = Fisherman
Calling someone a fisherman is not an insult.
However calling someone a rascal is an insult.
Besides the foremost point in Tinubu's comment is driving at a fisherman who's boat is about to capsize. |

proudly9ja: Abeg make una forget ref jare, wat excuse??
The ref and assistants were there when we scored four goals.
Its Diaby. I used to support him but what was he thinking ? I agree. We need to stop blaming refs at this point, is pretty clear they have an agenda against us. Arsene needs to preempt the refs shortcomings by encouraging our players to close out games by an any means necessary attitude. |
