Abuzola, you've not answered still. Were there no beautiful mature women around the prophet? And how do you define "paedophillia"? Besides, you lied that the Muhammed never promised virgins and orgies in paradise. Then how do you explain these: QURAN 78:31-34): "As for the righteous, they shall surely triumph. Theirs shall be gardens and vineyards, and high-bosomed virgins for companions: a truly overflowing cup." (QURAN 55:54-59): "Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you deny? Wherein will be those houris (beautiful virgins), restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse before. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you deny? In beauty they are like rubies and coral. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you deny?" |
Dtp, can you give more details of what happened between you and ex? ![]() |
Tosyne, the brother-in-law CHEATED on his wife, and you think he'll disclose what happened without incurring the wrath of his wife and family? ![]() |
It's sad and painful. But, with time, this too shall surely pass. See it as one of the many challenges you're bound to face and SURMOUNT in life. It must not overcome you, that is, make you lose control of your emotions or hate women in general. Your real test of character, strength and potentials (whether you're a winner or a loser) can never be ascertained in time of peace but in time of crisis. So let's see how you handle this. Finally, I hope these beautiful lines encourage you: When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As everyone of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about When he might have won had he stuck it out; So don’t give up, though the pace seems slow - For you may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a fain and faltering man, Often the struggler has given up, When he might have captured the victor’s cup. And he learned too late when the night slipped down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure, turned inside out, The silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems afar; So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit, It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit! If you're able to learn from this experience and let it propel you to greater heights, you'll be rejoicing at last, and the girl will be shamed when she sees how impressively you've been able to manage the situation ![]() |
Do you really think the brother-in-law will have the guts to reveal ![]() |
Funny thread. ![]() So what are Christians and Muslims supposed to do so as not to "contribute to atheist cause"? Keep quiet? Fraternise? Unite? ![]() Stop deluding yourselves, as long as there's something called "free-will", mortals will continue to choose whatever they think is good for them, regardless of what they see around them. Nobody chooses to be a Christian because there are Sunni and Shiite muslims. Nobody chooses to be a Muslim because there are Catholic and Protestant Christians. And nobody, except a reckless simpleton, will choose to become an atheist simply become there's division among theists. Even among atheists, are there no disagreement on certain issues - the origin of life for instance? Do you know that while some believe in the "big bang" theory, others dismiss it as a fable? And dear Pastor, with all your sense of maturity, can you mention how many atheists you've successly converted to Christianity - even outside "chaotic" Nairaland? |
So, would you say Khadija was not beautiful enough and that there was no other beautiful mature woman around that could satisfy Muhammed's cravings apart from a 6 year old? |
You didn't answer my first question ![]() |
LOL, you don't want pregnancy but you want skin-to-skin? ![]() You should be thanking God if it's just pregnancy and not HIV ![]() |
What more shall I say? A word is enough for the wise ![]() |
there is no question i can't answer relating to Islam, God's willing. So tell us abuzola. What did 53 year old Muhammed find so sexually arousing in a 6 year old girl? Two, why did he promise you 72 virgins and endless orgies in "paradise" if you could kill people for allah? |
david I know all to well, we're just hearing his side, abeg let the woman come on here too.And I hope when next a woman comes on here to tell a sob story of how her man maltreats and disrespects her, you won't make any comments or partake in her pity-party until you hear from the man's side ![]() |
What makes you so sure of your claims, despite all what the person affected has said? Or is it because this has to do with a man complaining about the recklessness of his fiance? Would you have reacted the same way if it was a woman that raised the issue? ![]() And you sound so biased. Extremely biased. Talking as if you know everything that happens between these two people. For the umpteenth time, the guy said he included "Because of Her American Passport" in the topic because she wasn't like this until she got the passport! He thinks that's the reason. Is that too hard to figure out? ![]() |
@ Akintunde You're right, bruv. Have a serious discussion with her. Don't settle for mere remorse and apology. Tell her it has to stop, otherwise. . . ![]() @ TheseekerIt's simple. She wasn't like that till she became an American! And if your claim that he's "ignoring her needs" (as if you're an eyewitness) were true, then why the ceaseless apologies? ![]() |
Silly remark. Would you react that way if it was a guy that started such obnoxious thread about women? @ Poster Someone had posted a similar drivel before and here's how I replied her: If you think men are dogs or inferior to dogs (whether you're joking or not) never forget that your father is a man too ![]() |
Hmm, could you please balance it up by furnishing us with "10 worst excuses for cheating on your husband." Abi na only men dey cheat and give excuses? ![]() |
Thanks, dear. I've been very good. I hope it's the same over there ![]() I deliberately "withdrew" from the thread for some time to give you guys enough time to do what ONLY you two would have to do. And I'm so happy with the way things are going. Just keep taking your time, and let God be the Ultimate Guide ![]() |
Imagine some people saying her attitude could be because of stress! Typical of some women to always justify a woman's irrational behaviour with useless excuses. So, if a man is stressed out, he's justified to verbally abuse his fiance? Anyway, you can always tell - by people's comments - the way they relate with their spouses in certain situations, when "stressed" for example. RUBBISH! ![]() @ Poster: If she could be so disrespectful while you're not yet married, you can be sure of what to expect when the knot is tied. So, sit her down and let her know how you feel about the whole thing. You could appeal to her emotions by letting her know that you're concerned about her sudden change of behaviour and would like to know what the problem is. If she has no reasonable response and remains rude, give her a LAST WARNING and make sure it's not an empty threat. Be the MAN! ![]() |
Some of them are right here. Theolar never thought of it, but it's happening to her. You could be the next lucky princess ![]() |
Of course, that you two (TheoReal) are doing fine and making progress! Abi who no like better thing? ![]() Keep it up guys. . .we won't stop praying for you and wishing your dreams come true ![]() |
of course you no go fit shout since the thread title says Naija girls instead of Naija males. never said you were.Tpia is tpiah and vice versa. You can ALWAYS tell by her feminist, anti-(naija)male sentiments. It's a second nature. ![]() |
@ Eaglebabe Simple question: "What Should A Good Wife Do With Her Earnings?" And you're busy rambling like a locomotive with a failed brake. Pity ![]() |
Give me Donnie McClurkin, anyday? Sings Spirit-filled inspirational songs - not too old-fashioned, not too modern. Just perfect! ![]() |
Yeah I know that innocent people can sometimes be involved. But let's be frank with ourselves. What would this world have turned into without these natural "morality enforcement angents"? ![]() The fear of HIV is the beginning of wisdom for many. But even with its prevalence, sexual pervasion is on the rise; and in places like South Africa, where at least 1 in every 3 women could be HIV Positive, rape remains rampant. So what if there was nothing like it? And I also agree with those who say "cd" encourages promiscuity. What do you think? ![]() |
Yeah, the mind boggles indeed. It's the same thing I was trying to say on another Romance thread ("Love=Like?" . Some Nigerians truly don't know how to control their tongues when describing their fellow countrymen to outsiders. They'll say anything to gain admiration and freebies ![]() |
Sorry, but I think you need "deliverance" because I find your narratives too fictitious to believe. You attend(ed) a school filled with guys from wealthy homes and you couldn't hook up with any of them? You go for outings where you meet other privileged guys but can't attract a "marriage material" among them? You walk along the streets with your friends and only YOU gets harassed by unworthy men? Haba! ![]() |
Yes it is his right to express himself as he see fit but it causes much wahala where there could be none if he learned the proper use of the word. What I am trying to help you see is the preception of deceit and shadiness that most Westerners feel towards our African brothas and that this is just one example of how that is further perpetrated.Sistawoman, only a gullible dimwit would not see the duplicity of what you claim to be the motive for starting this topic. And sadly, your gimmick seems to working on some. You created the topic ostensibly to correct an anomaly that is causing "so much wahala" betwen Nigerian men and American women but a sensible person would want to know, how much wahala does this REALLY cause? Let's ask ourselves, (1) How many African immigrants are in America? (2) Of these immigrants, how many are Nigerians? (3) Of these Nigerians, how many are males? (4) Of these males, how many prefer to date Americans (5) Of those who date Americans, how many have this problem? or Is it ALL? If we break it down this way, we'll see how much this issue is being blown out of proportion for whatever reasons. What sistawoman would have us believe is that ONLY Nigerian men have this problem (and some of us are shamelessly affirming this) and that the small percentage of Nigerian men that have this problem is enough to cause so "much wahala" in America . No one bothers to ask if she conducted any survey to come to this conclusion. And no one cares to ask her, what sort of "wahala" it causes - that American women are so retarded that when a man suddenly walks up to them to tell them he loves them, they spontaneously believe him and start a relationship and the relationship eventually ends in disaster"? See me see FABLE! ![]() @ TheSeeker I didn't speak in generalization for all men and not to get applauds from the the women-fold for all reason -- I was only stating what is commonly true and what can be found based on 90 of every 100 instances. She asked if their egocentric thinking is peeping its heads up which I told her that some men don't care to know the difference and that tells when they mix up like for love and what happens next is that they, on a very funny belief that like means love, start to misbehave-- I know that was off topic but hey it was correct- better yet I can't start to generalize all men because for one reason or the other everything can't complete a 100% cycle. You did generalise. You never mentioned "some" in the post I mentioned. And the 90 of every 100 instances you mentioned is mere speculation. Have you done any credible research on the issue? Must you exaggerate to show how "ignorant" and "egocentric" your fellow Nigerian men are? And I have my reasons for saying you seemed to be trying to win the approval of women with your comment. Apart from the things you said here, I've observed in most of your topics and posts that you're always looking for a way to impress the women by all means - even if it means going off-topic! There is an example here (in bold), and check your first post on the latest topic ElRazur started on a young girl plotting the death of her boyfriend. While everybody was talking about how evil her action was, you suddenly came up with the story of a man killing his wife and someone had to tell you that you were derailing the topic! Shortly before then, you had started a topic on domestic violence and all you were talking about was how women were being abused by their husbands and I had to remind you that both men and women could be abusive! Sure, this tendency to be servile could impress and attract some women - but they are mostly needy, desperate and feckless women who always need a man's adulation and affirmations to boost their self-esteem. Not my type ![]() There's no point trying to flying the "slowpoke" comment. We aren't up here for a hot disagreement but to share views. That wasn't done impulsively; it was done DELIBERATELY because I still don't know what to call someone who believes and falls for every man/woman who comes up to them and say "I love you" ![]() But are you also aware of the possibility that some guys even though they can differentiate the two, still go ahead and tell a girl they love her when they clearly know it's not true? And do you these girls believe that because most of them are watching Nollywood blockbusters?Funny, you would say just about anything to defend a spurious argument. Are you insinuating that girls/ladies are so dull in reasoning that they'd believe anything they see in Nollywood? And if that affects their interpretation of words and motives, whose fault is it - guys? ![]() And the reason I mentioned Americans not saying nasty things about their countrymen to Africans is because Sistawoman is not a Nigerian. And it's wrong to support her spurious claims by affirming that the majority of Nigerian men are ignoramuses. She's not trying to correct anything because the issue is not causing any problem anywhere (as you can see from my first analysis above). And if it does, it should be among the dummies. If my sister came to tell me that she fell for a man who met her on the streets and said he loved her, I'd take her to psychiatrist. So if you have the same problem with American women, don't blame Nigerian men, blame their idiocy! |

Don't be too slow in saying Jack Robinson next time ![]() |
I don't see why the perpetrator being a female should be a surprise. Every human being has the propensity for evil - it just manifests in different ways. That's why I don't easily get swayed by a woman's sob stories and (crocodile) tears when she has issues with a man. I dig deep before making conclusions. Unfortunately many men are sissies at heart. A little display of emotion by a woman, and they're carried away, pitying the guilty and blaming the innocent! ![]() |
You met them arguing? And what did you do to prevent the argument from degenerating to the point of slapping? ![]() |
