How would you feel after making a funny or intelligent comment on a thread and all of a sudden the person just deletes the thread and your post along with it?

How about a scenario where there was a thread you liked or a thread you were really gaining a lot from and as you were just perusing through it or as you just wanted to comment on it, you just find out that it's already been deleted. How would you feel?

Or a case where a topic is already on front page and the whole Nigeria is going through it's content and before you know it, the owner of the thread just decides to delete it.

If such privilege is given to everyone, Nairaland will be in a mess.
You won't see many threads anymore. You would even see people deleting their own threads for dubious and selfish reasons.
