I said it from their first game. Senegal and Dr Congo do not know how to quickly cover up spaces in their defence.

How can we be dealing with this level of understanding in Nigeria? The transcript says they went to Abacha to see Abacha but doesn’t say they met with Abacha. Isn’t that clear enough?

If you haven’t gone to see a high ranking government official before just tell me you don’t understand how the protocol works
Are you satisfied now? 🤣🤣

NNPP supporters are not following PO supporters up and down like Tinubu supporters. They’re all over your faces because you’re following them, so you can do Cho Cho Cho about PO. Nobody follows opposition and feels threatened and insecure like Tinubu supporters.
I bet you are the ones that throw Obi everywhere. If you stop bringing him into discussions, nobody would care about him just like nobody cared about him as at January 2022. APC people then were focussed on Atiku. Were his supporters crying like you here?

You want to uphold Obi as messiah then you and your Obi should be ready to take the heat and stop whining like a frustrated little girl.

Ok have you people singles those people out who worked for ibb and questioned them?

Why are we not seeing something about Amaechi or Atiku the way you people keep churning out epistles upon epistles about Obi.

See,some of us aren't from the east but this daily attacks and accusations and vituperations amounts to much ado about absolutely nothing.
Everyday obi obi obi,haba!!!!
Atiku and Obi are thesame. Weren’t they running mates in 2019? Obi is talked about more because his followers are all over Twitter and on our faces with Obi, Obi, Obi.

Demehin is a disaster waiting to happen. She's panicky, misplaces passes and miskicks the ball a lot.

I wish the coach can draft Plumptre to pair Ohale in the central defence, and have another defender play from the left back position.
I wonder why either of Chioma Okeke or Nicole Payne was not invited. That way we can pair Ohale and Plumptre but hey.

I have watched most of the games played by Falcons. Player in #13 has been a complete accident both in SF, age grade competition and Pitts.
The player in 18 has source Nigerian anguish. She continuously passed the ball to her opponents, trapped the ball for her opponents and committed silly infringements. As for 14, she is a mayhem and will destroy the happiness of most Nigerian football fans.

For the quarter finals, I think Morocco would not really be a problem to us if we put our acts together on the day but for Zambia, I just thought of something now though it may sound ridiculous.

Considering the Zambian game is built entirely on their forwards like Barbara and Kundinanji, if we pair Ucheibe and Ohale (then bench Demehin) at the heart of the defence and then Abiodun and Ayinde in defensive midfield, we would frustrate the Zambians big time if we happen to meet.

This was what Randy did to frustrate South Africa at the Olympic qualifiers.

Lol. Obi’s statements always mean many things to you Obidients. I wonder if he now speaks in parables like Jesus did to his disciples where only those initiated can understand. Is Obi that deep?

Na so una talk say immediately does not really mean immediately when Obi contradicted himself on removing subsidy immediately.

He meant one on one. He never worked directly for him. The port task lasted for just 3 days. Did you watch the video at all
You are the one helping him here by interpreting what he meant. He simply said: “I never met Abacha”.
To see how contradictory this is, all the Obidients I have engaged with on this thread discussing this topic (including you) have conflicting views on what Obi meant. Just read my previous responses on this particular thread.

You don’t get it. The problem is not whether or not Obi worked for Abacha. Take Babangida for example, do you know how many scholars and great guys he appointed to work for him? They were quite a good number of them.
I am not blaming Obi for doing a task for Abacha, I’m only worried at how contradictory he is when he speaks. The problem here is simply that he’s contradicting himself.

When last did you watch the team play? ....the coach see Echegini as an attacking midfielder but she's behind Payne that's why she's on the bench .... onyezide is also an attacking midfielder, very good player but she's not on Payne or Echegini level
Your Question: When last did you watch the team play?

My Answer: Against Cameroon and Portugal.

So of all the issues and problems bedeviling the country and the policies of the govt both at state and fed levels,it's matter of whether obi worked for abacha or not that is of more importance?!!!!

And again when you ask these people fronting this rubbish what they have to say about Buhari who directly worked under abacha as ptf (petroleum trust fund) chairman and who they had no problems with making him president for good 8 years, they will turn mute.

It's such a shame what Nigerians busy themselves with...citizens of other countries busy themselves with real and genuine issues but Nigerians are all about petty petty tribal and ethnic and religious issues!!!!

Ok let's ask a few Obakoolex realitykings1 2mch generaldae helinues, you are more or less pointing fingers at obi for working for abacha (indirectly meaning he worked for an evil president),ok now, what do you have to say about Buhari who worked directly under same abacha and who you made president for good 8 years?!

Why did you people not bring this abacha issue up when Buhari was running for presidency?
Did Buhari ever try to double speak on his working for Abacha? Wake Buhari up tomorrow, he wouldn’t mince words about working for Abacha.

If you agree that Nigeria has bigger issues today to discuss about, I guess you would also agree with Obi that at the heart of these issues is the leadership problem. If so, we are evaluating a possible replacement for Tinubu in 2027 hence we are evaluating Obi via this argument. Is he a man who says something today and either lies or forgets tomorrow and then says something else? If so, how do you trust that such a man would not buckle under pressure and deny his promises?

Even he admitted his children records what he says so he doesn’t deny he said those things later in the future. Take a few:

I would never leave APGA - He left
I would remove the fuel subsidy immediately. I cannot allow it to stay a day longer (2022) - He denied saying this recently in 2025.
30 of us met Abacha, he banged the table and appointed me as chairman tin can (2023) - I never met Abacha (2025).

If you still don’t get it at this point. Wahala Dey.

PO was cutting a long story short. They went to see Abacha, they ended up seeing the minister who set him up to resolve the issue and he did, everyone clapped for Abacha because the President receives glory. Then a well known group of people started “he was Abacha boy”

Long story short
Okay so it was the minister only they met, so why did Obi say yesterday that he met the minister and the head of state? What does that mean? Who was this head of state?

Read the bolded for your answer
“Inaudible the minister”. So the minister made an appointment in the presence of Abacha? or the 30 people met only the minister and not Abacha? Which one?
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi: I Never Worked For Abacha, I Never Met Him by GeneralDae: 9:56am On Jul 07, 2025

Explanation:

If you want to see the President, you have to identify yourself and go through security clearance. After that, depending on your level of security clearance, you may be directed to a SA or SSA or whoever will attend to your enquiry. It is there they will determine whether they will put you in the appointment list, or whether you should go to someone else, like the minister in charge of the issue you want to resolve.

According to PO, they were 100 who went to see Abacha. When they got there, the people threatened to arrest them. Only 30 agreed to proceed further. The rest were probably afraid to go any further.
Was Obi among the 30 who proceeded further and who did the 30 then meet? Who banged the table after the speech of the 30?

How can we be dealing with this level of understanding in Nigeria? The transcript says they went to Abacha to see Abacha but doesn’t say they met with Abacha. Isn’t that clear enough?
Okay let’s break this one by one. Thank God say I nor go work today, I get time.

This is the transcript you posted earlier.

We went to Abuja to see Abacha. We were 100. They said they were going to lock us up. Only 30 agreed to see him. And when they said I should speak, I started talking. Half way, the man banged his table and said (inaudible) the minister, he said, from today, ports decongestion, you see this boy who is talking, which is me, Chairman (Tincan)… that’s how I got involved in the ports.

And when they finished it, everybody was clapping for Abacha for clearing the ports

So first question from your transcript:

What is the meaning of: “only 30 agreed to see him”? Who did the 30 agree to see?

givedemwotowoto:
Here is a quote of what he said in the video you people keep referring to. So tell me where he mentioned that they met with Abacha directly. Now even if Abacha was present at that meeting, does this count as meeting with Abacha just because you were in a room with him? Does it count as being an Abacha boy? Because to be his boy, you must have a working relationship with him the way someone like Reno has a working relationship with Tinubu or Atiku.
Okay so this quote you posted for me now, does it contradict your earlier argument or not? At first you said he never met him but just the minister. Can you admit now you were wrong before we move on?

Are you really a 9ja patriot or just a hungry liar online hustling for daily bread? PO said it clearlt get never worked as Port MD or chairman of any port. PO worked in a committee as a private citizen, helping the government to decongest the ports.
Was he personally appointed as chairman by Abacha? I don’t know what the fuss is though. Many great people were appointed by the likes of even Babangida who was perceived to be an evil genius (a Maradona).

In terms of having an audience with the head of state yes, in terms of working in the government he has never met Abacha
Obi should learn to communicate well. There’s no need to say he has never met Abacha when he clearly met him and was appointed by him to do a temporary task. That doesn’t mean he is a devil simply because Abacha appointed him to decongest the ports (if that is even a true story in the first place).

Why is this so difficult to understand? Is it that you haven’t been to see any high ranking politician in power before or what?
Either Obi has a problem communicating well or he just lies for fun. The problem is not with me but the contradiction caused by Obi.
You are saying he never met Abacha. Obi said he met with both the minister and head of state in his interview yesterday. He also made it clear in 2023 that 30 of them were selected to meet Abacha who listened to them and banged the table. He didn’t say the minister did that. Your position is more contradictory.

You guys and critical thinking, Abacha here doesn't mean that he met one on one with Abacha, rather it was a minister working under the directive of Abacha (Ani).
