Npower should be integrated with NYSC. Graduates should also be associated with smes, to solve the immediate problems of smes with whatever skills the graduates have. This is how to reduce unemployment of graduates. Other than these, NYSC has lost its' original purpose.

Barcelona vs man city ....barca used used azeezat pace a lot to put pressure on man city
Yeah but it's rare.

Mtcheew nonsense and Azizat
You can see that Asissat rarely uses her pace these days because she is now a goal poacher surrounded by good midfielders and wingers. However her game of pace is still needed by Nigeria and that may be why we can't get her to play the way she did pre Barcelona.

Sorry, despite her limitations, Oshoala will always start, she's got a very important asset no one else on the team can match - PACE. The coach only has to find a way to fully exploit her pace.
Yeah she can start or even come from the bench depending on the game and strategy.

She has pace but Barcelona has slowed down her game a bit because she doesn't have to do much but rely on very creative midfielders and wingers. She used her pace properly against Portugal in the summer series, but she had a really disappointing tournament in the Aisha Buhari cup even in terms of pace.

I very much doubt that these very ones can immediately take over from the "old legs," It'll take some time, years, even.
The likes of Oparanozie, Ebere Orji, Okobi, Ordega, Chikwelu, Oshoala, were all good enough to take over from old legs right from their U20 days, heck they were much better then, so why can't we get at least 5 very good players from this set for reserves at least?

Although I'll admit that most of them played two U20 tournaments, but it has always been the culture of the falcons to rely on the youth teams ( especially U20) for supply of new players.

Its time to cut Okobi and Chikwelu loose.
Their experience means little in this day and age and has actually been regressive to the team.
Not sure about Chinaza. She seems to have fallen off the radar.
Okobi, Oparanozie and Chikwelu still believe in holding on to the ball for long or dribbling. This style of football is getting outdated and this is coupled with the fact that they are no longer thesame skillful players they used to be. Esther Okoronkwo also plays thesame way, the difference is that due to her age she is way faster than them at the moment.
I agree with you and in my opinion, Oparanozie, Ordega, and Oshoala should play from the bench while Okobi and Chikwelu should be left out of some games.

While I agree Ajibade has all the attributes to blossom at the midfield, from her most recent displays, don't you think she's the very best to man the right wing? I, personally, see no better player at that wing. I think that it would be a waste playing her at the midfield when Otu, Payne, Ayinde can do the work perfectly.
Vivian Ikechuckwu is naturally a very good winger. It's what she played for Rivers Angels at the CAF qualifiers. Maybe we could try her there.
We need to study the games of this present U20 team to fish out some wingers, also Vivylopez should be called to the U20 side. She's always liking posts related to the super falcons and it seems she is very interested in Nigeria ( her mother's homeland).

When passing is your weakness as a midfielder, then why the heck are you playing that position grin
Because she does well as an Ndidi type of player. She is not very poor in passing though, just average in a way.

Hmmm... MAYBE is another Halimatu Ayinde, She sometimes get off the pedals but still the best Central/Box-to-Box Midfielder

I would love to see a Midfield of Regina Otu, Halimatu Ayinde and Tony Payne..
Ayinde must improve on her passing game. It spoils her hardwork sometimes.

Ayinde is injured what are u talking abouthuh
Ayinde is good as a defensive midfielder though and she was greatly missed. She just have to work on giving more accurate passes. For me, the midfield should be the combination of Payne, Ajibade, and Otu behind them.

These are the two offensive paragraphs from the press release. It was retracted and re-issued and the two paragraphs were deleted from the new press release, but it's too late.
Oparanozie alone cannot be blamed. Oshoala, Okobi, Chikwelu as well. Alozie should be moved away from the right back and tried in the midfield.

Problem is, she doesn't play for conspicuous teams.
She played at the Olympics, breaking some goal scoring records there. I believe in women's football, the Olympics is a bigger tournament than the UEFA champions league, or at least should be as far as African football is concerned.

She's actually not done enough to deserve it - Asisat will win, mark my words!
Asisat doesn't deserve it this time. Barbara Banda does.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:59pm On Sep 21, 2021
AkinDS:
And what exactly has Assisat done on the continent to deserve winning it?
Just because she played for Barcelona (as a reserve) and won the UEFA Cup?
Truth is, outside of that, she has been a major flop for the National Team this year (even as captain).
This tournament will be what most analysts will use to judge who is the best African player.
No doubt, Thembi was the better and more impactful player.
Barbara Banda would win it. To be fair, the likes of Babara and Chawinga are perhaps even better than both Oshoala and Thembi, but they play in very small teams in Africa especially Chawinga.

When she's on the national team..
She becomes below average..
What happened to Ariyo,Esther okonkwo, Patricia goerge we need young bloods
And for heaven sakes play alozie in her position
I have watched Ariyo, I don't really see her as a game changer when her team is not dominating. I think one of the best attackers we have at the moment is Rasheedat Ajibade.

...The same experience that let Kgatlana blow by Ebi and score the winning goal in the last AWCON, or the same experience that led Randy Waldrum to substitute a sluggish Rita Chikwelu in the Mali game for the much more dynamic and quicker Regina Otu?
Sure.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5kFZrz9OLc
- watch from min. 1:08 and see how she left Ebi for dead to score the brilliant goal.
But Ebi and Ohale ( though slow or aged ) are probably our best defenders at the moment. I blame Oluehi for that Kgatlana goal at the first match (AWCON) than Ebi, and in the final when they met again, kgatlana had no answer to Ebi, Ngozi, Chuckwunoye, and Ohale. She was lost in that final.

Instead of trying Alozie at the right back position, why not try her in midfield? since she is a striker who wants to model Barlotelli's style of football.

He said FIFA only made it a FIFA tournament just this past thursday, so that means the organisers actually didn't know it would eventually become an official FIFA friendly with those rules.

Lion is called king of animals because it is not a solitary animal, they believe in team work and are the leaders of their team or family units called prides just like Lionel Messi is more of a team player than Ronaldo.
