Just arrived the UK today, via Abj to Doha to Heathrow London, it was a very smooth and seamless journey.

Info, please print your COS and employment leter handy and be ready to defend your employment, the The Border officer nearly ruin my happiness because I didn't have printed copy of my COS and I couldn't login to airport wifi and show her.

pls prepared and remain confident don't panic the journey is worth it. Good luck to you guys.

Essentially means know your job or about the offer, pay, how you learnt about the job, experience you have had in the job, your contract details, your previous occupation, your work start date, end date and so on. Just normal questions you would expect at POE for skilled worker arrival.

1. BTA is not a requirement for travelling on a work visa. You only need to take sufficient amount of money to cater for your needs for the first 1 month, including rent and other bills.

2. You can use your employer's address as your address in your application, however, DO NOT TRAVEL UNTIL YOUR ACCOMMODATION IS SORTED. This weather is freezing and its not even winter yet. Liaise with your employer or friends/family in the UK to help secure accommodation before you arrival.

Your passport with vignette is what you require. Advisable to keep your tb test results in your carry-on bag.
