It is once said that the devil you know is better than the Angel you don't know.

Friends is good no doubt, having a lot of friends makes someone gets connected in the society. There are many advantage coming from having many friends, meanwhile some people still want to keep the circle of their friends small to avoid unnecessary drama.

I once seek an advice from my friend on how to leave Nigeria for a better livelihood outside the country. He gave a lot of reason why I shouldn't leave the country which I somehow was convincing. To my greatest surprise, I saw my guy on Facebook taking pictures with white folks like Osuofia in London grin. He left for Canada after telling me story for the gods on how Nigeria will be heaven later.
I later travelled sha.

Another experience, when I went to pageantry with my friends, though I never planned to partake, my schoolmate told me to replace him looking how fresh I was then sha, but I needed to look more dope. I had to borrow my guys necklaces and wrist watch immediately. While awaiting for result, these guys decided to take away those stuff in the public, just to shame me. I later won sha, And decided not to borrow again.

In my hood then when i had a fine babe and she was so proud of me posting me everywhere as the main guy. I know some guys in pain about her actions but will never believe that my real paddy wants the babe too. The guy toast the babe she refused, the nonsense guy came to me to call the girl names. With this experience I avoided public relationship.

Many experience though, is it when you ask your classmate how you preparing for exam, he will tell you, I'm yet to open my book. Or is it those that say love na scam, getting married. Or those saying school na scam, furthering their education. And so on
Share your experience wink

I and this my guy were very cool in secondary school we had each other's back but I leaned on him the most because I had low self esteem. We graduated from secondary and my esteem began to grow almost daily . I am no longer the person I used to be I now see my self as a better person . During this lockdown I started making friends, freeing myself from worries and generally trying to be happy . My esteem grew drastically. But just as exam started drawing near and I started reading with this my friend and one other guy . This my particular friend has been trying to put me down . He'll praise himself but put us down . He's always trying to discredit me , talk down on me or talk about my receeding hairline or something. Because of all these things I stopped sharing my sexcapades with him ,I stopped telling him my motives or plans . I either show result or ..... . I've started keeping small small distance because I've noticed all the negative things he's saying are affecting my confidence.

Even before the lockdown it affected badly because we were always hanging out .

Honestly this is becoming a joke.

This important road linking Enugu state capital and Anambra state capital through to Onitsha, the biggest commercial city of Anambra state has been under reconstruction since 1999.

What is going on in this country?

Why is it that no federal project is ever completed and commissioned in SE since 1999?

And for crying out loud, the region is a not big like others, especially in the north.
Sincerely speaking PDP wasted 16 years .

angry angry.

I have had two so far .
First one was in my family house .there wasn't enough funds for my parents so my dad hurriedly built 2 rooms on his land and we moved in ...He was in the Para Military and was hardly around.

One room was for my dad and mum and the kids occupied the other one.

One midnight,we woke up to my mother's voice... begging that she doesn't have money . I was with my two senior sisters and little brother ...We heard a knock on our door and the fear of my mum been in trouble ,we quickly opened the door .

They had already finished robbing my mum ,took all her jewelries ( she just came back from Jerusalem ,was sponsored by Rivers State gvt) , locked her in before coming to our room.

We opened immediately they knocked ,took our phones and all. One held his cutlass on my brother's neck ,that he will cut him if he misbehave ( he was below 17 then) .

They asked the 3 girls to come to the small corridor and pull our clothes. embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed.
My eldest sister was pleading that they shouldnt disvirgin her and all...I was a Virgin too .

Their boss(I guess) said let him try ,if it doesn't penetrate he'd leave us.

My eldest sister was struggling with him then he left her ...the circle went on. The bastard came to me, checked with his fingers and left cry cry cry.

My middle sister was raped cry cry cry... I'm talking about it because she's late. Died March 27 2012.

I have the guy's picture all over my memory and he'd pay for his sins whether here on earth or beyond.

2nd one was in school.

iLegendd:
Falling from a coconut tree 15 years ago when I heard my entire community screaming. I didn't know why they were screaming.

Here is the short story. In my community, we have two oil companies (Total and Agip). For the past 5 years, Total E&P has been building a gas turbine for us, but we lost hope because it has taken so long. Agip was also building one. The plan was to give 24/7 constant free light to us based on MoU.

We do use NEPA and Total pays the bill — in billions of Naira. Meaning: we don't pay NEPA bills, but the light wasn't constant, yet NEPA keeps billing these oil companies every month.

One day, I was at a bushy garden with a friend, a little far from home and houses to pluck coconut.

All of a sudden, we heard the loudest scream on Earth and he didn't know what was happening. Since I was at the top of the coconut, I paid attention and heard, "Light don come, light don come."

I sighted a 2-storey building and saw light everywhere. Omoh, I screamed and guess what? I let go of my hands at the top of the coconut tree (out of excitement) and slammed myself on the ground. I almost died, but I stood, picked my machete and we started running home. We didn't care to carry any coconut again.

We got home and truly, it was a f*cking full voltage light unlike NEPA. It even destroyed some people's appliances and bulb.

So, for 15+ years now, we have always had free constant light and most people here don't use gas, but electric stove. It saves cost on gas cooker and fuel.

Though, once in a while, when some crazy rain bring down polls or destroy transformers, there is blackout for some days or weeks until they get fixed.

We went back to the bush after our eyes don clear to pick our coconut, but we couldn't see them. Sharp guys don move am. Fruit and vegetables were actually free and surplus back then, so we didn't care.

Thanks for my life and all the crazy/dangerous risks I took as a teenager. I had even worse adventures than this, but let me not talk about them because they are scary. I'd rather write a book with them and make money than share them for free. Content Is King. Your stories (when packaged) can make you rich, so be wise. #Smile.

EducationRe: What Made You Popular In Secondary School?? by GeneralKoko(m): 11:56pm On Sep 26, 2020
EMMAUGOH:
The only time I was popular was when I entered Jss1 to Jss2.Change of school affected my life so much .. from Extrovert to core introvert.

From funny introduction, first day at school. I made everyone laugh each time I stand up to answer question in class

I was part of everything bad that happen in school that year.. From Condom incident, where someone brought condom to school and I was the one that went to senior class to blow it in front of seniors( the suspension and flogging no be here o, to me then it was injustice).

I fought our senior prefect and was beaten wella, guy was almost 7yrs older than me.

In football you do not mark me or try to dribble, just write your chemist bill before trying.

I am the best in my class but after exam, I end up 2-5th position cos on exam day, I help those that would buy me Bons after exam. Big boys no dey use me play.

One teacher tried doing nomination of class prefect by vote, 90% vote me as class prefect knowing fully well I am a disaster. I couldn't last 1 week . Issues was when a teachercame into my class and saw everyone playing one game where u have to draw a rectangle with 12 positions where u have 3 brooms to win by having them in a straight line , lol I introduced it to my class as a panacea for noise making . They changed me same week . They ask me for noise making list. Each time, I have an excuse to give them why I didn't write it.

I was once the reason my school have to close after break time ... I fought a senior hefty girl,Rose for not moving out of my class when I ordered her to get out.. When the girl was on top of me, I couldn't move, I have to bite her hand hard. No one could pull me off till our principal came out . When we were going to principal office, the girl took a wooden chair that has nail on it and hit me on the head. The nail stuck inside my head and the blood gushing out was much.. Too much uproar, the principal have to close the school. Me and Rose later became good friends during treatment . We always meet at same hospital due to suspension we both recieved and have unlimited time. That girl looks like man.

What broke the camels back was getting arrested and stayed in police cell for 4 days at jss 2, a crime that has nothing much to do with me , just my history and relationship with the suspect got me involved. Police came to my school twice and I was the talk of the town.
After that incident my life never remain the same. I didn't go back to same school and I changed like two schools because of my past arrest record. Became a core introvert After. I Just love watching people make noise but will never be a part. Till today I am a core introvert..
I have a similar story too but it has nothing to do with crime .

I was very lively in Jss1 it was a boarding school. I was a very notorious noise makercheesy e no get day when I no dae make noise . Except for my first term in the school all other terms till I left in Jss2 my teachers remark is always bad . I remember one particular one " He talks too much and distracts others in class"

That remark pepper my papa ehncheesy
For a school that I paid almost 600k per term.
I was only a very good baller , I was like the best in my class and like second best in junior secondary . People loved me from my juniors to my seniors .
I was also very intelligent and respectful. I enjoyed my Jss1 but Jss2 no too sweet
Village people started tormenting me . I started having skin diseases and weird sicknesses before I left the school.

Ohhh did I forget?? I was a very notorious bully grin I was flog to shreds for bullying. That school them dae flog people like thief
Tufiakwa!!!!

Till today I still be legend for the school.
But when I left my eye defect worsen. I left a big man school with Ajebo students to a smaller school with somany riff raffs and social misfits . I became an introvert , I couldn't cope with people sooo local . I later adapted Sha but they helped me develope low self-esteem because I couldn't flow well with them . Anyhow Sha I'm recovering. I'll go back to being the king that I was .
RomanceSometimes I Wonder Why Nigerians Are Still Poor by GeneralKoko(op): 7:52pm On Sep 25, 2020
I've always had this thought . Why are we the poverty capital of the world when we have enough land for Agriculture? From Agriculture we could have people supplying raw materials , people into refining and processing and people into distribution and to add to that Nigeria is blessed with a very fertile soil ( Especially southern Nigeria) but why have we left the farming for those in the Northhuh

It's just sickening
While people in my villa are languishing in abject poverty and waiting for oil companies to give them contracts like say them be Government other people are engaging in Agriculture and liberating themselves from poverty .

I just tire!!!

see this one again. he's just saying trash as expected. obaseki will never decamp to clueless failed APC party. this was how they said that Benue state governor Samuel ortom will decamp to APC in Benue state, but was rebutted by Governor Ortom. besides Edo state is PDP. obaseki isn't an ingrate man but a gratitude man.
You don't know what is going on Amaechi just used Obaseki to clip Tinubu's wings.

Very unlikely he will return soon.

He just threw down the gauntlet at Tinubu. It will be illogical if he returns to APC, as Edo people will feel betrayed.
Lmao I said it that y'all don't get the point . Why do you think APC would let Obaseki win easily?? Why would an election that could mean so much be free and fair?? Why is there no flare by the Presidencyhuh

Y'all are sleeping.
There are two factions if APC , the Amaechi faction and the Tinubu faction . If POI had won this election it would be a spread or increase to the Tinubu empire . Obaseki may have been convinced to leave APC and win first so as to clamp down Tinubus power before 2023.

All this is an in-house work by Amaechi and El-rufai .

I'm still laughing at y'all saying PDP won .

On a normal day you think APC would loose to PDP without a fighthuh

Y'all are joker's .

ggirl4real:
Foot her bills or foot the bills for both of you?

There's nothing wrong with that but I'm sure most ladies will see the guy as a stingy person

While I was single, I went on a first date with a guy. After ordering for our snacks, he was dipping his heart in his pocket to pay but I paid instead, heaven did not fall. I still paid my way back.

However, if he told me beforehand that I will foot the bills, maybe I would have felt somehow but I would have still accepted as far as I have the money that can cover the bills.

It's absurd for a girl to leave her house to go on a date without carrying her own money, what if things go south?
You may be the last of your kind in Nigeria

Good development for the people of rivers state and Nigeria at large..at least his active participation in the just concluded Edo election have justify the huge amount of resources of the state.
Port Harcourt city can now compete with the most beautiful cities in the world and the living conditions of the people of Rivers state have improved overnight.
All the roads within the state capital that are still inaccessible by foot are now motorable.
All medical centers in the state are well equipped.
River state that is supposed to be on same level with Dubai, given to the huge resources of the state, remains a shit-hole all thanks to the type of leadership and followership we have in this country.
God will surely punish all Nigerian politicians and their supporters..
May you suffer for 600 years for all this lie you wrote up there.
