A law needs to passed on standard building fire protection units, making automatic sprinklers a necessity since our fire brigade is dead.

hahn: I agree with this too but its necessary that you try and see things from that other guys point of view. There is always going to be a universal curiosity over the origin of existence and until either theists or atheists are able to prove beyond reasonable doubt each other's position there will continue to be unending arguments and discussion over the issue.
Its safe to say that neither position is correct at this point Maybe... However if I told you that I have a dog that talks, and ask you to believe so by faith, would you say I am wrong or that it may be possible, given that it is biologically impossible for dogs to talk? What will your answer be? |

Yorubbish: Ok Now there is a relationship between you and your picture. One is naturally made & the other is man made. You could explain the making of one which is your picture but the making of your actual self is something you will still never fully comprehend till you die.
So why you could easily understand religion, the concept of God on the other hand will forever remain a subject of study as you can never fully understand His workings, & curiosity or doubt does not mean that you don't believe His existence you're simply curious You are jumping all over the place. Firstly, you have not established that this God exists. Man is made up of cells which came from other humans who came from other humans. Do I know the origin of first life? No, but some people are curiously investigating it. However, to attribute this origin to an unseen imagination called God is laughable |

Christianity Etc › Re: The Year God Died by GeneralShepherd(m): 4:03am On May 31, 2015 |
Yorubbish: Now that's how to hold an intellectual discuss.
There was no ad hominem, I simply had to sit you up so we can discuss reasonably and for the benefit of others.
Now to your very first intelligent question. First and foremost, God is not a construct of religion. Religion on the other hand is the construct of man. And I mean every single religion. They're all created by men. So when you confuse God with religion then you begin to confuse all your thoughts and reasoning.
And that was the mistake & misthought&misreasoning made by the German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, he couldn't separate God from religion.
And the moment we couldn't separate God from religion we begin to descend in our thinking towards the confusing state of ponderings. How is it possible to separate God from Religion? |

spikesC: The article highlights the, obvious, implication of the removal of the PSW. What you should compare is the quality of education and job prospects, rather than PSW, in determining the best country to go and STUDY.
The problem is that you're mixing priorities here. Your audience are coming to study and look for graduate jobs eventually. The economy is bad globally, so don't blame the UK for the strict rules. The message is simple, if you cannot fund your education for its duration and get a graduate job, don't bother. The menial jobs is for those who're already here And I have had one phone interview with a refinery in Canada even though I didn't even study there. Hope this gives you some perspective on my argument. |

The message is simple, if you cannot fund your education for its duration and get a graduate job, don't bother. The menial jobs is for those who're already here Lol...no psw means menial jobs are not for people here?! really anyway, I am studying Subsea Engineering and I have heard the words you would have made a wonderful engineer with us except you do not have a workpermit in the UK at least 15 times and I kid you not. From GE, Exxon Mobil, DNV etc. So I do not say what I say because of bias , the reality remains that UK deals a very bad hand to international students and I believe with strong evidence that studying in Canada, USA, and Australia to mention but a few is much better than studying in the UK. As for quality of education, it is an argument that varies from school to school and is not very dependent on country. UK education especially MSc has on advantage that it ends quite fast and thus saves you valuable time. |

Not all Nigerians want to settle in developed countries.some just want to study and come back. Most NL members are after job like those countries don't have citizens.A time will come these countries you are singing praises for will be like UK. Just the bitter truth. Spot on! Emm... Net immigration quota also contributes to prospects. If Australia has no quota to the number of international students allowed to work after studies, is it.logical to say that students in the UK have equal opportunities as their Australian counterparts for example? |

spikesC: Automatic work permit doesn't make it easier to get jobs, it just gives you more time to look for graduate jobs while working menial jobs. Most people do not look for graduate jobs with that opportunity and just settle for menial jobs.
I, am not making it sound like you're bitter. YOU are making it so. What exactly is the stringent work visa requirements? To get a graduate job within 4 months after graduation? Which most people get before even graduating.
The truth is that, psw does not determine whether you get a graduate job or not. Your experiences and result does. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/educationnews/11601739/International-students-key-to-UK-economy.htmlThis article highlights the difference between UK and competing economies in terms of immigration policy towards foreign students. I am here in the UK, my future is very promising however I will Always tell other Nigerian students that there are FAR more better options in terms of foreign countries to study in than the UK. |
