At the age of 18...should a child be in her husband's house or in school? Look at all the great women in the world today, were they married at the age of 18? If the pastor wasn't a terrible person, why not sponsor the girl to get properly educated before making a marriage move?? Another thing is, why move for an 18yrs old kid when there are mature women in the same church... Women in their 30s,40s and even 50s who are ready for marriage Another thing is.... One of the dreams of married couples is to grow old together.... Does this lady have that dream?? 40 years from now... This lady will be 56...the man will be over 100....that's if he lives that long... How is that fair to the girl? Another thing is.... How many wealthy men's kids have u seen get married at the young age of 18 They send their kids to school and try to build them into women who can add value to the society..... That being said, I honestly think that this pastor most probably took advantage of the girl's family and their financial situation to get married to that child.... If her parents are wealthy, they will not allow their daughter get married to a 63 years old man at the age of 18....the girl may be an adult by age.... Or ready for reproduction but it doesn't justify what has happened now..
