GeneralZodd: Egg is a balance diet, it contains all the nutrients
Protein, vitamins, mineral salt, a little bit of carbs and fats and oil. Egg is a natural energy booster. I used to eat of alot of eggs when I was on rental of 50k per week as far back as 2017. It gives me energy to drive 16hours everyday. (5am - 10pm) without getting tired.
There was a time i had excruciating pain on my legs and feets, the pain was so serious I found it difficult to walk. I went to see a doctor. Medical test was carried out, they discovered I had too much cholesterol as a result of too much consumption of egg. Blood was not flowing properly to my legs due to cholesterol building up in my veins and arteries.
Prolong sitting for hours was the major issue because I wasn't exercising and at the same time eating too much of eggs. Medical reports stated i had P.A.D due to lack of physical activity or inactivity. Since then i have stop eating too much egg. And I don't sit and drive for hours like before again.
If am to drive for a longer period, I ensure there is intermittent break, after a long trip, I come down from my car walk around for like 10 - 20 mins before I continue work again
When someone is eating too much cholesterol food sitting all day and not exercising like strolling or walking or treking it's very dangerous to health. |

Pearl1910: Guys, I have been noticing something of recent. I see commercial drivers buying boiled eggs in traffic and in d garages. Is there any benefit or advantage of boiled eggs to fulltime drivers apart from the normal nutrition and health benefits of eggs? Cos these women will boil a bucket full of eggs and before evening they have finished selling it. Personally, I don't understand why people will just be eating boiled eggs like snacks, I think there is something in this practice. If u have any info or if there is someone u can ask, kindly do and share here for us. If e dey give stamina for driving or stops sleep, make we know abeg. Pearl1910: All of you saying ehailing isn't profitable, it's only for feeding money, yen yen yen, are talking Rubbish If not that u want to eat like an armed robber, flex like a kidnapper or measure up with a Yahoo boy. U will not call a business that u can make between 10k to 30k profit daily an unprofitable business.
As a partner, who will not raise any finger apart from the capital u used in buying the car, u make 100k profit monthly on the average from ur investment. That's like 3-10% monthly passive income depending on how much u invested in buying the car. And u are complaining. Tell me, how many genuine passive incomes can u make that much from in Nigeria of today.
As a Driver, u can make between 100k and 150k profit every week. If u r starting new and u r lucky to get a car with 50k down payment, even if u borrow to raise d deposit, u can repay ur loan, pay ur partner and still have change in the first week of working. Isn't that commendable? U can live comfortably and be financially confident out of nothing or just 50k/100k deposit/capital.
Finally, as a Partner Driver; if u make from within 100k to 150k every week in profits. Calculate that in a month and tell me if that's not good business.
If u want to talk about repairs and expenses, I will tell u there is nothing in a car that money cannot buy, and there is no expenses too much compared to the profits u will make once u fix it, so as a business man, even if it means u borrow and fix ur car, go ahead, it's not bad. Save for raining day and have depreciation savings. But most of us will eat with out five fingers, leave above our means and be complaining that money on dashboard isn't showing in bank account.
You will be talking down on the business, u r poor, u don't have money, u can't maintain ur car yet u want mega profits, u want to make money doing nothing. U don't even know the basics or what it takes to run a business/company, cos if u did, it will show in d way u talk and analyse things, but u want to look for business you will do... I pity u, at least in ehailing if u no do again u can sell ur car and see small road, most of u talking will enter business and get wrecked and come out with nothing. The best thing for u is to seat on a desk 8-5 and recieve salary at month end.
There is no profitable business without it's own challenges, risks, pit falls, and skills u must master to succeed in it. U must learn d ropes, endure, be patient, be consistent, be positive and with a sprinkle of natural/spiritual principles you will succeed.
I am not saying u must do ehailing, or u shouldn't do other businesses or that ehailing is the best thing to involve in, my own is when u are talking, personalize ur talk and don't generalize. I know people, not one not two who have grown their fleet from 1 to multiple of 5, 10 cars. May God continue to bless d hussle of hardworking people. . To slap you just dey hungry me |

ReadaDream: Night hustle is not for everyone. There's more to it than just driving aimlessly. For the past two months now I've only been working at night except a rider books for offline.
I see drivers in their Corolla Park anywhere, sleeping and I begin to wonder if they know whats at stake.
Couple of nights ago, I parked in front of Brassars place at Admiralty way, (one thing about me, I always park in a Get-Away position) So I saw this Aboki guy park a bicycle behind my car, I was observing him from the mirror. I got a request from Olubunmi Owa, so I reversed to enter that street, I saw the Aboki, standing beside one corolla, the driver slept off on the trunk, the moment I passed him, from the mirror I saw the guy pack the drivers sandal, hopped onto his bicycle and cycled away. I pursued him with Reverse but he quickly crossed over to the other lane and ran off. I went to the driver, it took me hitting him severally before he woke up.
Now Imagine someone like that, if he's car keys where in sight, anybody can easily push him off and steal his car.
That Olusesi Conservation road, I always see some guys lurking around the entrance of the LCC, sometimes they call you when you drive by with your windows down, I pay them no attention and always at alert.
Normal, na God they save man but make we they add smartness and street join. One guy too, should be less than 25yrs from his look, parked his very sharp looking corolla in the middle of Lekki Epe express way, before Ikate traffic light and was looking under the car, in the middle of the express at 2am, with engine running. I had no rider, so slowed down, asked him what's up. He said he's hearing one sound, I told him, you could drive down to Folixx, get a safe spot and check!
If they collect that guy car now, he go be like say them do am bad. Alot of folks in this business are not smart. |

Come and arrest me''- Singer Seun Kuti dares Aisha BuhariSeun Kuti has dared the first lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari to send men of the Department of State Security DSS to arrest him while calling her ''fat'' and alleging that she used money meant for Nigerians to get fat. He shared a video dragging Mrs Buhari on social media days after Muhammed Aminu, a final-year student in the Department of Environmental Management and Toxicology, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State, was picked up and arraigned in court for sharing a post on Twitter sometime in June this year, where he called the first lady fat. Aminu had shared a photo of Mrs Buhari on his handle and tweeted in Hausa “Su mama anchi kudin talkawa ankoshi”, which loosely translate as “Mama has fed fat on poor people’s money.” Reacting to the incident, Seun who is the son of legendary afrobeat singer, Fela Kuti, dared Mrs Buhari to send her DSS to arrest him as he called her "fat". He said; ''You are fat and it is our money you use to get fat. Send your DSS come this side. If you no send that your DSS come this side you nor get sense, you be goat. Aisha Buhari you are fat!'' That woman should be in jail. If Aisha Buhari is not in jail, then there is nothing like law in Nigeria. If Aisha Buhari is not thrown in jail for abuse of office..she doesn't even have an office. Constitutionally, there is nothing such as the office of the first lady. Barbiturate: Sometimes we should be considerate. One lady once told me to put off the music completely and I asked why, and she said she wants to have her job meeting on zoom. I switched it off immediately. We should put ourselves in their shoes at times.
For the guy that wished drivers who overwork themselves dead, you went too far bro. There's always a better way of putting up your narrative.
For the eating in the car, I go with pearls. I usually allow them eat though but I would advise you not to stain my car. I recently carried an aged man and his wife from luth to Aguda. He was sick and he needed to eat and take his drugs. I allowed him eat his amala.....even though he stained the floor and seat, I had to clean it when they alighted and he blessed and thanked me. In all, just be considerate. It doesn't mean you should go about taking sh1t! It's not right and hygeinic in any sense for riders to eat in your car. That car is your office, you should not allow someone to mess it up despite the fact they are paying you. Your job is to get them from point A to point B with quality service not to eat in your car. I used to allow riders to eat in my car during my early days in the hustle until I battled multiple cockroaches for one full year. I fumigated and used different insecticides still they kept multiplying in the car. They feed on food particles and lay eggs in the hidden part of car. The experience I had was terrible It's very disgusting and irritating for roaches to live in someone's car. It's a bad omen. Imagine roaches coming out from AC vents and Car seats crawling on someone body. I lost a lot of offline customers back in those days. My rating was low, I was struggling with it, till I was able to tidy up. Bro you had better stop riders eating in your car, it's not good for the business. |
