Just to correct something.. I don't go about telling someone I am nice. My actions is enough to do that and like they say, action speaks louder than words.

Technically speaking, if I was bad but claiming to be nice, the girl that called me recently wouldn't have called nor will the ex from years ago do everything such has wooing and offering sex. The ex from years back may not be desperate but the pain of not finding anything close to me. I mean, I was not selfish, never thought of solving her problem and expecting sex in return, never took advantage of her. We never had sex but other guys did all these and she saw I was the only one who gave genuinely and purely from the heart. She did beg me for everything she did.

I am also aware that women know who was good to them, the one that really love them, even though they often act unappreciative at the peak of their emotional outburst and anger with the nice guys... in their solitude, they reflect on this things. It doesn't matter if they have dated 100 guys, they know the one who really love them.

Also note, this has nothing to do with just girls cos I am not one of those guys who is ONLY good to girls. I know what a friend did to me when we were room mates in school; you know the way people treat you when it looks like you have no future because they judge you by current events and outlook (just as the ex from years back did) but God knows I had a type world view unknown to most people and I worked on my life using that (call it plan B).

So it happened that this former room mates needed to do his international passport with time running out for sealing a job with an oil company. Guess who made sure it didn't fail? the same me he had regarded as a redundant and hopeless person with no future while those he banked on failed him. I sent the money a week before the date he gave me. Since then, he changed the way he treats me.

My principle is, treat everyone equal (no one knows tomorrow) and it makes me a little servile in the process, not that I am stupid but I just love the feelings of making people happy. You don't need to thank me, the fact that you are happy and the smile on your face makes me feel unprecedented form of fulfillment that words can't explain.

However, I don't show this nice of me to every girl anymore... if a girl ever sees it, she should consider herself lucky but sadly, they often abuse it when they see it as such has been my experience.

but like I said earlier actions speak louder than words. even Adolf Hitler will tell you he is nice. I would even trust someone who says 'hey im not such a good person' than someone who's always saying ' I'm nice'

don't blame me I learnt the hard way.

just like I don't 100% believe what others say about another until I have one on one experience with you to judge your character

life also taught me this lesson

besides people change

you might have been nicer then when you were innocent ,but due to bad experiences become for example a player

Well, the first lady i talked to about to be wooing me was the first and last person I ever spent time calling... subsequent ones hardly got my call, well, you guess right... i turned out to be the opposite of what she had in mind when were dating.

Yeah the second one who called not long ago, we chatted a lot... but that is past now sha... I am best of both worlds. Just let me know which one you want and I will serve it cold and chilling. not every girl gets much of my attention sha... if you get it so much that i spend more than enough time with you, you are lucky but abusing it will never resurrect it thereafter.

I had hidden though... I just thought may be one girl out there will be different and not feel awkward about getting too much attention but I am wrong.... so hence forth, no girl gets it anymore, not even my wife.

Though due to my experience after her and subsequent ones, I have resorted to hiding that nice guy a bit.

A girl messed up when I showed her that side called me desperate, too emotional and all whatnot, says I should stop the unnecessary calls and text. I obeyed and stayed on my line... For 3 months now with no calls, text or chat from me..

Out of the blue, she calls and asking why I don't call her anymore and some other things I wasn't really interested in.

I am too busy. The fact that we some times do silly things cos of the love or affection we have for lady, does not me we can't change. If we change, you may never get to see that nice side again, but that also depends on how you nurtured and handled the nice side of a guy.

Now the part where I say I am almost like the dude is, if I really like a girl and mean well for her... I take my time before asking her out and I don't care if she had dated any guy I know of, just like one that happened during my nysc lol...

You see, like some persons were saying dude took too long. What happened to the ones that didn't take long before speaking up? Where are they in her life now? Of course the op is not a virgin and she has had more than 3 body count by now(just saying), and I am sure the guys she had it with didn't waste their time in wooing her... So where are they now?

Like the NYSC chic, I delayed before opening up to her towards the end of our service, well I didn't get accommodation on time and so a guy got in before me. Till this day, I am the one who still check up on her while the other guy has moved on since. Above all, she is a very good and nice lady... Awesome wife material but her problem is she doesn't seems to make good choice when picking a guy to date. She doesn't know how to move out of a relationship that doesn't favour her... And clock is ticking against her already.

hmm no offence but I tend to be quite suspicious of people who tell me with their mouths that they are nice people ( bad experiences)
