Is that 16*** (sixteen thousand) or 16**** (one hundred and sixty thousand)? If it's the latter, your interview will be conducted when Jesus comes. If it's the former, expect it between February/April 2013.

Go to the Secondary School where you finished from and ask for your WAEC certificate. That should fix it.

Generally x ray is safe during pregnancy but there were some controversial studies on the topic,some say the safety depends on the kind of x ray and how many weeks is the pregnancy and the others(the majority) says its totally safe so bro i advise you that when you go to your medicals tell the x ray technician that your wife is pregnant so that he use some more shield and protection for the baby. Do not give medical counsel except you are a licensed medical practitioner. 'Some say...' is not a good reference point. Refer her to a qualified medical practitioner for advice. Safety of life is involved here therefore play safe. Thanks bro.

There are set of instructions for pregnant women on the medical forms. Consult your doctor for further medical advice.

I will strongly advice individuals not to render medical advice except they are qualified and licensed medical practitioners.

mannet: The information is still there only that u won't see it on the front page,u will have to put ur confirmation number and other details where u will see HAS NOT BEEN SELECTED page there u will see the October selection notice....whether is there or not,the selection was a statement of probability and not certainty. 5pm tomorrow is less than 24hours,so lets keep our fingers crossed cos i have a very strong faith that the selection will hold and i will be a winner in Jesus Name.

If you applied as single but now married , don't fail to change your status to reflect married. Include all your derivatives. Be ready however to defend your marital status during your interview at the American embassy. You will not be interviewed by KCC. To defend your marital status, pls keep your marriage certificate intact, also have handy pictures taken before, during and after your wedding. If you can get the clergy who joined you to sware to an affidavit to that effect, the stronger your case.

In 2010 fiscal year, A lady with a high case number did not get a 2NL before the the 50,000 limit was exhausted....
But to the Glory of God...She was selected again the next year 2011 with a low case number...she is now in Yankee

Did you fill the online application yourself?
Also, note that Americans write their dates as mm/dd/yyyy while we follow european way of dd/mm/yyyy i.e 10th of january for an american would be 1/10 but for us would be 10/1. I hope the situation is as simple as that so that you can move ahead!!

Regardless of that though, IF all your forms are in order - just keep checking for your 2NL as this exchange only means they will not answer your request for status updates which has nothing to do with processing your case.

Supposing the date in question does not correspond to the one in his International passport, marriage certificate if married and academic records? Don't you see a potential problem there?

Visas allotted to Nigerians are gradually depleting. When case numbers above 8500 have been scheduled for interview and Nigeria got just 6000 visa slots and only half that number gets issued yearly, what's the fate of those with high case numbers? Just thinking out loud.

I know the year of birth is correct because I used the same to check the result but the day or the month is what i dont remember may be I misplaced it during registration but I quoted the correct one in my DSC forms

You may have wrongly entered your date of birth. That's a challenge. Since every other info is correct, I suggest you let KCC know it was an error. Attach a copy of your birth certificate as a proof. Ask them to change it to reflect what's on the birth certificate. I hope this works. Just common sensical.

one advise is to make sure all of the translations are 100% accurate. I've seen other applicants were asked to resubmit some of their documents due to inaccurate translation.

It's not their duty to notify you. It's your duty to enquire from them.

From the way the visa bulletin is going, expect interview date between March-May 2013. Just keep your eyes on the bulletin. It appears they are deviating from the norm.
