adzovia: my people what God has done for me my mouth cannot say it all. when i came here i heard all kinds of stories especially ones that said America is not easy anymore that it is difficult to get a job here. anyway 3 months into my arrival here i got 4 job offers, one at fedex which is an office job, one at kmart as a cashier then lowes and sears now i am confused. when God bless you he does it well and none of this jobs is paying below $9 an hour. i am blessed please help me thank God.

Have you heard from Trezeget? If he gets issued with that visa, It's just simple the mercy of God. By your words you are justified and by your words, you are condenmed. There are matters for private consultation. He doesn't have to consult with me after all i am happily settled in LA, but I feel duty bound to advice him on how not to go about it. HIS MATTER IS NOT FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION. I rest my case on This issue.

mohamed shire: high every body, it is now 29 days after i had my interview at US embassy in Nairobi and putted me on further administrative processing but still i have no answer from them.
so please house what shall i do, do i need to ask them what happen, or should i keep on waiting.
i am now running out of patience.

ogba1: Sori fellow forumites for posting my interview experience late,it was due to circumstances beyond my control. Last week Monday ,me, my wife and son had our visas approved after a successful. Ours was like a chit -chat as it were. To God be the Glory.
We arrived the embassy at about 6am but had to hire chairs to wait for our interview slated for 10am. At the hour, we proceeded to the gate were security checks were effected. Once inside the hall, we paid the necessary fees and our documents checked and received. We sat down to wait for our number to be called. Behold at about 12.30pm our number beeped at Window 13 (handsome guy) who had earlier on denied 2 couples. We braced up and moved with confidence to Window 13 because greater is he who is in us that the one in the world.----- Am the principal applicant.
US----Goodmorning sir
CO---- Goodmorning and how are u today.
US----fine
CO----- Do we swear to speak the truth
US----- We do.
CO-----Sign this columns
US---- We signed
CO---- (To me) you must be a lawyer, saw that your documents are arrange orderly.
ME---- Yes am sir

ME--- I appreciate ur compliment sir (smiles)

My observation from the above is that one should be confident and relax during the course of the interview. And above all be very very Prayerful and have faith that God is in control. Please forumites join me in thanking GOD for HIS mercies in our lives. I wish everybody a successful interview ahead. The GOD that did it for US will surely do it for you. the major problem is not that. the major problem is that in 2005 I had wanted to pursue the process with my then fiance so we entered the DSP for as married. shortly after we went out separate ways and did not go to the interview together. I had written KCC that we will not be able to make it together because of domestic issues and KCC replied and asked me to explain to the CO. on the interview day i told the CO that we has problems hence we are not together but he disqualified me on the account of a middle name which appeared in the DSP form.

My problem is now I won again this time i entered single. my fear will they cross examine me based on the former married status which i think is still in their data base. House what are my chances and what should I do?

it will be counter productive to go for a divorce certificate now because i had stated Nerer Married in the EDV form.

my guess is to explin to the CO that in 2005 we had had attemted getting married but since my fiance had customary marriage with someone in the past our marriage bacame invalid. I want to also rely on the fact that I had written KCC in 2005 telling them befor the interview that I and mz wife would not be able to attend the interview ortravel together bcause there were issues in the relationship to which thez adviced me to tell the CO. I also told the CO but I would not know what he recorded. I was onlz disqualified because the original form did not have my middle name on it. that he told me bluntly.

I was wondering if a notary public would have been necessary.

If you entered as married in 2005, that is documented. If you now applied as single, you got a lot of explaining to do. Telling them the truth of what transpired in 2005 would earn you a disqualification. Sustaining your claims to singlehood, is a contradiction with dire consequences. Denial cannot be ruled out. What to do? Not for public consumption. Write....

I left the house by 5am and on descending from 3rd mainland bridge towards Onikan(around 5:40am), my car suddenly stopped accelerating, I tried all possible but to no avail as the gear was no longer selecting though engine was on & working fine, I & my wife had to push it under the bridge towards the Officers mess before the Lagos Island- VI bridge(b4 Bonny camp). we spoke to the officer guarding the park by the lagoon and he agreed we park there while we get a mechanic to come fix the car, time then was 6:05am. We kept our phones, took our documents from the car and headed for the embassy on foot as it was nearby, got to the embassy by 6:25am and people were already there waiting for the officials to arrive. they finally arrived around 7am and We observed all the necessary protocols, checks and got ushered in; coincidentally I picked the same No I picked last week thursday. I noticed that The hall was filled that people also had to stand, then our name was called to confirm that we were around (as we had previously made payments & submitted all necessary documents last week) , after which we waited for the interview to start proper.
At exactly 8:45am my number was called at window 14, our finger prints were taken and oath administered. Thereafter, our interview went thus:
CO: good morning
We: good morning sir
CO: Do you swear to say nothing but the truth?
We: yes I do
CO: what's your highest level of Education?
Me: blah blah blah..
CO: What do you do now?
Wife: blah blah blah...
CO: Where did u have your NYSC?
Wife: blah blah blah
CO picks papers & circle address & says "Congratulations, pick up your visa at circled address in a week's time and make sure you pay USCIS money online b4 leaving for US, Enjoy your stay in USA".

Imagine, interview took less than 5mins and No questions on O' levels, marriage, job description & also pictures(family) were not checked etc.... God you are too much.
I prophesy into someone's life.... God that did my own, will surely do your's too.

I very strongly advice everyone to go for NPC birth certificate. While the embassy accepts any recognized type, when you get here, you will be shocked to discover that most employers of labor and government agencies only concern themselves with NPC birth certificate. Ignore this to your peril.
