Noooooo! KCC does not void winners. If they have suspicion based on evidence, they include it in your case file to the embassy. The embassy is vested with the powers to grant or deny visas. Fear not, you will hear from KCC sooner.

Congrats at your selection. You got no problems. Add her as your derivative and be prepared to defend it. Get pictures of your marriage and courtship in place. You will need those. You've been current since September and your interview will come up in November if you submitted your forms early enough. Goodluck in your quest.

You will be current in November. Your interview will be in January. Just get your documents together and begin preparation.

I understand some of you guys use 2 or 3 different emails to register different users. In order words you are actually dealing with the same Person with different psudo names. Hmmmm! foworola: Gentiger, not trying to pull issues here with you. However, you will agree with me that not everyone has such a family as yours,and i must say its quite impressive. that being said, i am assuming that you have not really been to see these your uncles and sometimes things are not as people perceive it to be, their mansions might not really be mansions, and again having a 8 bedroom mansion in Texas, North Carolina or Georgia doestnt mean u are super duper rich, cost of living is just lesser there but job opportunities are not so much around there. Your uncles do have children and they come first so do not rest on your oars believing you have unlimited stay at an uncle's place. EVERY MAN 4 HIMSELF!

For everyone else without such connections, my candid advise from a Nigerian to another is this, get the driving test manual of the state you land in ASAP, and learn it well. You may not be able to sit for the test until you get your social security and green card as you may need 6 points of identification to book the exam but reading before all the documents come will help u write the exams early. Also, its always better to go apply for your social security as soon as possible cos some districts take longer than others. to be continued...

For once, I don't see impossibility in anything I do. If there's only one job offer in the US, no one gets it until I arrive. That's my mind set and my driving force. Thanks however for your candid opinion.

mannet: I have watched closely from afar the arguments about this AOS documents between Temmytanny,Gentiger,Brigthmon and others,the argument have become very irritating and childish.I'm not here to blame or favor anyone in this war of words but all i ask for is that this matter be buried once and for all,whoever has the AOS issue or questions should be directed to previous posts or pages on these thread. Nobody is perfect or a know it all,we are all on the learning curve and meant to help or assist eachother. But sincerely i need to tell Gentiger that u really took the matter too far,i'm disappointed but u guyz need to bury this issue.Please let us all behave like the adults we are even if we are faceless,we should be civil and mannered in our approach to issues.

Not really. I got no time for beefs. I am current and that all that matters now. My energy is geared towards intense interview preparation.

My Bishop Oyedepo taught me to celebrate others fortunes to key into their blessings. Envy will always keep you stagnated and backward.

foworola: Gentiger, who told you one thing u can never lack is 'good food, clothings and shelter from your host' believe me, thats just for the first few weeks you are there. 80% of the time people start getting cranky when u dont pull your weight around the house by looking for job, or moving out e.t.c. Depending on where u stay, job vacancies vary... its not always that easy! With my hubby's qualifications and mine from from the UK it took us abt 6 months to get good jobs & i was already thinking of going back to the UK when the Lord opened the doors of opportunities. Also, sometimes people come with big expectations for their host, please understand that your host is also trying their best to live well & may not be able to clothe u as u think.

Well I speak from my family perspective. I got the greater part of my family in the UK and US. With 7 uncles in the US of which one has a private hospital and another working with an Oil company, I speak from my experience. With a mansion of 8 bedrooms, 2 sitting rooms etc, no one is in a hurry to quit you. So my statement is from my family perspective.

If your case is above 10,000, then you will be current in November.
