Please house, I would appreciate answers to these questions. Thank you 🙏🏽 GentleBobo: Please, I have 3 questions on the travel history section of the ITA form to ask.
1. When filling out the travel history, do I have to include travel from my home country to Canada when I first moved to Canada? I haven't been to my home country since I move to Canada
2. Is it mandatory to include travel stamps, and what do I do in the case where I have entry stamp on my passport but no exit stamp?
3. Do I have to include road trip of less than a day across borders as part of my travel history?
Thank you |

studycenter: Doesn't matter. You can be unemployed or employed. The work experience you're claiming must be within the last 10years. You can combine several NOCs and jobs but one of them, the primary noc must be 1 year continuous.
Read page one of this thread or read on the IRCC website for better understanding. You can reach out to me for a paid consult if you do not have time to read. I will give you every info on a platter of gold. Please, I have 3 questions on the travel history section of the ITA form to ask. 1. Please o, does IRCC work on Saturday? johnstan: POF is your tuition fee for at least 1 yr plus your living expenses (CAD 10,000 - roughly N3.2m) for same yr.
Check your tuition fee for a yr, add your living expenses for same year and there you will have the minimum required POF.
It's advisable to show POF for at least 2yrs so the visa officer don't feel like you wouldn't have enough funds to support yourself.
Good luck. |

EyinjuGod: Good morning all

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fe Sorry to know this, EyinjuGod. Did eligibility review start for you before the refusal? |

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! I figure what the problem could have been. I actually provided my employment contract. I was in Europe when I submitted my first application. Yes, I never stayed with one organisation for 2-3 years, but the roles were similar. When I applied, my current job was unrelated to my intended study. Thank you so much for all the questions. They helped me to think in diverse ways. I appreciate you. EhischemNg: Maybe if you list out the supporting employment documents you submitted with your application, one might be able to narrow down a spot.
VO was specific about your employment situation and since u have just said you were employed... What documents did u submit??
Did you explain in your sop why you are going for the course and the importance of the program in your home country??
When you try to look at it from a wider view, employment situation can be past, present or future
Past in the sense that you probably never stayed in a job for over 2-3year and move from job to jobs that doesn't show career progression or growth
Present in the sense that you recently got you present job and already looking to go for a post graduate program in the file, *or your application was not submitted or missing a documents as regards your current employment like your payslips, *was the salary constant or coming in once in two months,
*for your age grade is your current salary up to what one within your age bracket should be receiving *Your last promotion?? Spending over 4-5 years in a company without a promotion..is this your case *You position in your company... How crucial is your role in your company and could taking a leave affect the growth or day to day activities of your company *was ur application submitted with a reference letter or study leave...and so on
Future can be the prospect of your course of choice back in your country, *Might your position be dere for you when u are done with your program??
I hope this is eye opening

Osemigho: That will mean you want us to guess based on experience. That's a very interesting game and I will play it with you. My guess will include:
1. Applicant didn't submit employment documents including salary account, or employment income (current and potential) does not justify study. 2. Current employment, maybe more than 3 years, does not match proposed study. 3. Applicant did not explain how proposed study will help their economic situation or employability. 4. If applicant is married, applicant didn't fully explain and submit evidence of spouse employment.
Those are my top 4 guesses (arranged based on perceived priority). I may be very wrong. Only GCMS can tell you the exact reason for your refusal. All the best. Thank you for your conjecture. I find it useful. |

Thank you. I applied last month. Teemenzo: Don't do it blindly, the reasons in the notes are always much. That they gave just one generic reason might mean four intertwined reasons that needs to be address. I was also refused in my first application and those VOs don't really put it all out except you get your notes.
When did you apply for the notes? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by GentleBobo: 4:07pm On Jan 30, 2022 |
Hey guys,
Please, because GCMS note is taking too long to get, I want to crack on with my application blindly, but I would like to know from the experience you guys have, what could be the reason for refusal based on "current employment situation", when the individual is employed?
Help me, please. |

Demmy10: Yes you can, after the transfer, download the receipt and print it out. On the day of medicals take it along to show evidence of payment Thank you. |

Demmy10: Online is okay, just download the receipt and print it out, so you would take it on the day of your medicals. But what I don't understand is how to add my passport number, as per the payment instruction that was sent to me. Can I just do a mobile app transfer to the account? |

Please, for those who booked their medicals via IOM, did you have to make payment at the bank counter at SCB, or an online payment sufficed?
I'm asking because the payment instruction requires me to use my passport number as reference number, which the online transfer does not allow me put in such detail.
Any help here?
Thank you. |

Demmy10: Good day all I sent a mail to IOM two weeks ago to book for an upfront medicals for late February, 4 days after, they asked for my name, preferred date, visa type and to send the data of my passport. I did that immediately and since then they haven't replied to the details I sent to them, I also sent a mail on Wednesday to let them know they haven't responded to the details I sent to them, they still haven't sent anything. Please what can I do? It's advisable to call them... That's what I did, after delayed response from them. |

Guys, I just discovered a website that allows you compress your files while still maintaining quality. It's simple and straightforward! On the https://www.hipdf.com/compress-pdf webpage, select the Choose File After clicking on that option, upload the PDF file that you want to compress. After dropping the PDF file, the application will ask you to select the compression quality rate of high, medium, and low. Select the quality in which you want to compress. After that, click on the compress button to compress your uploaded file. Click the download button to download your file. |

Please, I would like to know if it would make sense to mention in my SOP for the study visa that I would like to join a different organisation other than where I am currently employed. |
